OTHER CONSUMER SAFETY INFORMATION
This appliance is intended for household use only. WARNING! Shock Hazard: This appliance has a polarized plug (one wide
blade) that reduces the risk of electric shock. The plug fits only one way into a polarized outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the plug by modifying the plug in any way or by using an adapter. If the plug does not fit, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, have an electrician replace the outlet.
The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary, an approved extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the rating of the appliance. Care must be taken to arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over.
To avoid an electrical circuit overload, do not use another high-wattage appliance on the same circuit with this appliance.

Place onto center shaft of juicer, aligning the juicing spout with the cut-out notch on the base of the unit.
Snap small reamer onto pulpcontrol basket.
If juicing large fruit (oranges, grapefruit), fit the large reamer directly on top of the small reamer. NOTE: Always select size of reamer based on size of fruit to be juiced.
Ensure the juice cup with mixing wand is placed underneath the juicing spout; otherwise, juice will flow onto your countertop.

NOTE: This juicer is designed with an auto-reverse feature. It automatically reverses direction, from time
to time, to make juicing easier.

Push down on reamer with halved fruit to start the juicing action. Lift the fruit up off the reamer and the juicer stops. NOTE: Pushing down too hard on fruit while juicing can cause the unit to move around slightly on the countertop, or wiggle. If this occurs, push down on fruit with less pressure.
When finished juicing, unplug from outlet. NOTE: Flip the juice spout upwards to the closed position to keep juice from dripping onto the countertop, or to stop the flow of juice into the carafe.
12
Liquid mixture may be poured or strained from the carafe.
13
As an alternative, the small reamer can be placed on top of the juice carafe and snapped into place. Place the fruit on top of the reamer and twist to juice. For larger fruit, place the bigger reamer on TOP of the smaller reamer.

Tips for Best Results
• This juicer is designed to juice citrus fruit, such as oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruits.
• For maximum juice, fruit should be room temperature.
• Before juicing, roll fruit between countertop and palm of your hand. Slice fruit in half, cutting across sections.
• If juice does not pour, either the juice spout is in the closed position or pulp is blocking the flow to the spout.
• Pushing down too hard on fruit while juicing can cause the unit to move around slightly on the countertop, or wiggle. Push down on fruit using less pressure.
Marinade and Dressing Tips
• A typical marinade consists of an acid ingredient plus an oil, then mixed
with flavorful spices. Fruit juice, wine, vinegar, and yogurt are all acid components that soften foods and make them tender.
• Many oils can be used to give a marinade or dressing a distinct flavor,
such as olive, canola, sesame, or safflower oil. The oil and acid ingredient must be mixed well in order to ensure they blend completely, or “emulsify.”
• Marinades with acidic ingredients work quickly, usually in about 30
minutes. Avoid leaving food in marinade for long periods of time since the acid will begin to “cook” the food.
• Glass containers are best for storing marinades and dressings. Some materials will react with acidic ingredients, such as certain plastics and aluminum. Salad dressing and unused marinade may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
• It is never safe to reuse a marinade—always discard after it contacts raw meat.
• Poultry, veal, and pork generally take less time to marinate than beef or “game” meats. Smaller pieces of meat marinate faster than larger ones.

Recipes
Lemonade/Limeade
4 medium/large lemons
(or 5 medium/large limes) 3/4 cup sugar 4 cups cold water ice
DIRECTIONS:
Juice lemons or limes into juice carafe. Add sugar; replace lid and stir well with mixing wand. Pour sweetened juice into a pitcher and add cold water. Stir to combine and serve over ice.
Citrus Marinade
2 oranges (1 cup) 1 lemon (1/3 cup) 1/4 cup olive oil 3 Tbsp dijon mustard 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 Tbsp fresh rosemary 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper
DIRECTIONS:
Juice oranges and lemon into carafe. Add olive oil, dijon mustard, minced garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper. Mix well to combine. Marinate meat for 30 minutes; then cook.
Chile Lime Marinade
1/3 cup fresh lime juice 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil 4 cloves garlic, chopped 1 Tbsp ground cumin 1 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground black pepper 1/4–1/2 tsp ancho chile seasoning
(use lesser amount for less heat) 1/4 cup fresh chopped cilantro 2 Tbsp brown sugar 1 4.5-oz can chopped green chiles
DIRECTIONS:
Juice limes into juice carafe. Add extra virgin olive oil, garlic, all the spices, cilantro, and brown sugar. Mix well. Add can of green chiles (do not drain) and stir to combine. Marinate meat for approximately 30 minutes; then cook.
TEST KITCHEN TIP:
This marinade is great for chicken, pork, or beef. Thinner cuts of meat will absorb more flavor. Try using tenderloins or cutlets vs. thicker cuts of meat.
Citrus Vinaigrette
2 medium oranges (1 cup juice) 1 medium lime (1/4 cup juice) 2 1/2 Tbsp honey 3 Tbsp soy sauce 2 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
DIRECTIONS:
Juice oranges and limes into carafe. Add honey, soy sauce, and olive oil; then mix well to combine. Pour over salads or other vegetables.
Orange Balsamic Vinaigrette
1 cup fresh orange juice 1/2 cup balsamic vinaigrette 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil 2 Tbsp onions, finely minced 1 Tbsp fresh parsley 2 tsp fresh basil 1 Tbsp orange zest 1/4 tsp kosher salt 1/2 tsp pepper, freshly ground
DIRECTIONS:
Juice orange juice into carafe. Add balsamic vinaigrette, olive oil, onion, spices, salt, and pepper. Combine well with mixing wand and use to dress salads, vegetables, or other side dishes.
TEST KITCHEN TIP:
Mincing the onions extra finely will help this dressing mix better. Try adding some fresh chopped mint for a refreshing twist or summertime salad dressing.
