4. Getting started and operation

4.1 Switching on/off

•Use Power(1) to switchonthe speaker.
Power (1)isinthe ON position.

•Avoicenoticationconrms that thedevice
is readyfor operation. TheLED indicator (9)
lights up blue.

4.2 Charging the battery

Warning –Rechargeable

•Onlyuse suitable chargingdeviceswith
USB connections for charging.

•Asarule, do not use charging devices
or USB connections that are defective
and do nottry to repairthem yourself.

•Avoid storing,chargingorusing
batteries in extreme temperatures.

•Whenstoredfor along period of time,
batteries should be charged regularly
(at leastevery three months).

•Chargethe speakerfully beforeusing it for
the rst time.

•Connectthe included Micro-USB charging
cable to the speaker’sMicro-USB port(8).

•Connect the unusedconnector on the
Micro-USBchargingcable to asuitable
USB charger.Pleaserefer to theoperating
instructions for the USBchargerused.

•The statusLED (9) lights up constantly in red
duringthe chargingprocess.

•Ifthe battery is fully charged,the status LED
(9) will go out.

Note –Charging

•Ittakes approx. 2hours to completely
charge theproduct.

•The speaker’s batterycan be charged
whether the speaker is on or off.

•Ifthe battery capacity is lessthan 10%,
the speaker will emit two acoustic
signals. Youwillonlyreceivethis

4.2 Aufladen des Akkus
