2. Safety Instructions

• The product is intended for private, non-commercial
use only.

• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating,
and only use it in a dry environment.

• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of
heaters or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.

• Do not use the product in moist environments and avoid
splashes.

• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any
major shocks.

• This product and the measurements it displays are
intended for use in the home. The product’s precision
and accuracy are not absolute and do not satisfy the
requirements needed and/or prescribed in professional
applications.

• This product and its measured values may not be used for
professional applications or to inform the public.

• Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children
due to the risk of suffocation.

3. Getting Started

On delivery, the indicator dial of the thermometer is not
exactly calibrated, and thus the temperature values shown
may deviate from the actual values.

• Before installing the thermometer, carefully set the gray
plastic indicator on the rear to the current temperature at
the place of installation.

• Use another thermometer to determine the exact
temperature at the place of installation.

4. Installation

• Install the product in an indoor or outdoor place where it
is protected from drafts and direct sunlight.

• Install the product only on straight, vertical walls.

• Use installation materials suited to the task.

Warning

Before mounting, check that the wall you have chosen
is suitable for the weight to be mounted. Also make
sure that there are no electric, water, gas or other lines
running through the wall at the mounting site.

5. Operation

5.1 Setting the indicator followers for min./max.
temperature

• Use the two knobs on the front to set the indicator
followers so that they are very close to or barely touching
the temperature indicator.

• Be careful not to move the temperature indicator with the
indicator followers.

Note – Min./max. temperature display

• The blue knob is used to set the blue indicator
follower, which displays the maximum temperature
value. This indicator stays at the highest temperature
value reached by the temperate indicator.

• The red knob is used to set the red indicator follower,
which displays the minimum temperature value.
This indicator stays at the lowest temperature value
reached by the temperate indicator.

5.2 Hygrometer and good indoor climate

• Use the hygrometer to control the temperature and
humidity of the air indoors. Air that is too warm or too dry
can dry out the skin, irritate one’s respiratory passages,
and negatively affect one’s wellbeing.

• Other things that can be sensitive to the ambient
temperature and humidity include high-quality furniture,
musical instruments, books, and plants.

Note – good indoor climate values

• In the residence: approx. 20°C at 50–70% humidity

• Sleeping chambers: approx. 18°C at 50–70%

humidity

• Bathrooms: approx. 23°C at 50–70% humidity

6. Care and Maintenance

Only clean this product with a slightly moist, lint-free cloth,
and do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Make sure that
water does not get into the product.

• Das Produkt ist für den privaten, nicht-gewerblichen
Haushaltsgebrauch vorgesehen.

• Schützen Sie das Produkt vor Schmutz, Feuchtigkeit und
Überhitzung und verwenden Sie es nur in trockenen
Umgebungen.

• Betreiben Sie das Produkt nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe
der Heizung, anderer Hitzequellen oder in direkter
Sonneneinstrahlung.

• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht in einer feuchten
Umgebung und vermeiden Sie Spritzwasser.

• Lassen Sie das Produkt nicht fallen und setzen Sie es
keinen heftigen Erschütterungen aus.

• Das Produkt und die angezeigten Messwerte sind für den

3. Inbetriebnahme

Das Zeigerwerk des Thermometers ist im
Auslieferungszustand nicht exakt eingestellt und kann so zu
hohe oder zu niedrige Temperaturwerte anzeigen.

• Stellen Sie vor der Montage das Thermometer mit
Hilfe des auf der Rückseite zugänglichen, grauen
Kunststoffzeigers vorsichtig auf die am Montageort
herrschende Temperatur ein.

• Verwenden Sie zur Ermittlung des genauen Einstellwertes
am Montageort ein anderes, vorhandenes Thermometer.

4. Montage

• Montieren Sie das Produkt an einer zugfreien und vor
direkter Sonneneinstrahlung geschützten Stelle im
Innen- oder Außenbereich.

• Montieren Sie das Produkt nur an einer geraden,
senkrechten Wand.

• Verwenden Sie geeignetes Montagematerial.

Warnung

Prüfen Sie vor Montage die Eignung der vorgesehenen
Wand für das anzubringende Gewicht und vergewissern
Sie sich, dass sich an der Montagestelle in der Wand
keine elektrischen Leitungen, Wasser-, Gas- oder
sonstige Leitungen benden.

5. Betrieb

5.1 Einstellung Schleppzeiger für Min/Max­Temperatur

• Stellen Sie mit Hilfe der beiden Drehknöpfe auf der

Vorderseite die Schleppzeiger so ein, dass diese den
Zeiger der Temperaturanzeige kaum oder gerade nicht
berühren.

• Der Zeiger der Temperaturanzeige darf bei der Einstellung

nicht durch die Schleppzeiger verstellt werden.

Hinweis – Min/Max Anzeige

• Der blaue Drehknopf dient zur Einstellung des
ebenfalls durch eine blaue Spitze gekennzeichneten
Maximalwert-Schleppzeigers. Dieser Zeiger zeigt die
höchste bis zur Ablesung erreichte Temperatur an.

• Der rote Drehknopf dient zur Einstellung des
ebenfalls durch eine rote Spitze gekennzeichneten
Minimalwert-Schleppzeigers . Dieser Zeiger zeigt die
niedrigste bis zur Ablesung erreichte Temperatur an.

5.2 Hygrometer und richtiges Raumklima

• Achten Sie bei der Verwendung im Innenraum darauf,
dass die Raumluft nicht zu warm und zu trocken ist.
Zu warme und zu trockene Raumluft beeinträchtigt
das Wohlbenden, trocknet die Haut aus und kann die
Atemwege reizen.

• Die richtige Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit sind auch
für hochwertige Möbel, Musikinstrumente, Bücher und
Panzen von Bedeutung.

Hinweis – gutes Raumklima

• Wohnen: ca. 20°C bei 50-70% Luftfeuchtigkeit

• Schlafen: ca. 18°C bei 50-70% Luftfeuchtigkeit

• Bad: ca. 23°C bei 50-70% Luftfeuchtigkeit

6. Wartung und Pflege

Reinigen Sie dieses Produkt nur mit einem fusselfreien,
leicht feuchten Tuch und verwenden Sie keine aggressiven
Reiniger. Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser in das Produkt
eindringt.

7. Gewährleistungsausschluss

oder Gewährleistung für Schäden, die aus unsachgemäßer
Installation, Montage und unsachgemäßem Gebrauch

• El producto es para el uso doméstico privado, no comercial.

• Proteja el producto de la suciedad, la humedad y el

sobrecalentamiento y utilícelo sólo en recintos secos.

• No opere el producto en las inmediaciones de la
calefacción, de otras fuentes de calor o bajo la radiación
directa del sol.

• No utilice el producto en entornos húmedos y evite el
contacto con las salpicaduras de agua.

• No deje caer el producto ni lo someta a sacudidas fuertes.

• El producto y los valores de medición mostrados están

previstos para el uso doméstico y no ofrecen ningún tipo
de precisión absoluta como la requerida y reglamentaria
para aplicaciones profesionales.

• El producto y los valores de medición mostrados no
deben emplearse para aplicaciones profesionales o para
información con carácter público.

• Mantenga el material de embalaje fuera del alcance de
los niños, existe peligro de asxia.

3. Puesta en funcionamiento

El mecanismo de indicación del termómetro no se encuentra
ajustado con exactitud en el estado de suministro, pudiendo
así indicar temperaturas demasiado altas o demasiado bajas.

• Antes del montaje, ajuste cuidadosamente en el
termómetro la temperatura dada en el lugar de montaje,
empleando para ello la aguja indicadora de plástico gris
disponible en el lado posterior.

• Para determinar el valor de ajuste exacto en el lugar de
montaje debe emplear otro termómetro que esté disponible.

4. Montaje

• Monte el producto en un lugar protegido, que no esté
expuesto a corrientes o a la radiación solar directa, en
exteriores o interiores.

• El producto solo debe montarse en una pared vertical
y recta.

• Emplee para ello material de montaje adecuado.

Aviso

Es necesario que compruebe antes del montaje que
la pared elegida puede soportar el peso que se va a
montar. Asimismo, asegúrese de que por el punto de
montaje no pasan cables eléctricos, tuberías de agua,
gas o de cualquier otro tipo.

5. Funcionamiento

5.1 Ajuste de las agujas rattrapantes para la

temperatura mín./máx.

• Emplee ambos botones giratorios del lado frontal para
ajustar las agujas rattrapantes de tal forma que no
hagan contacto, o apenas hagan contacto, con la aguja
indicadora de la visualización de la temperatura.

• Al realizar el ajuste de las agujas rattrapantes, asegúrese
de que no se desajusta la aguja indicadora de la
temperatura.

Nota – Visualización mín./máx.

• El botón giratorio azul sirve para el ajuste de la aguja
rattrapante de valor máximo, identicado también
mediante el color azul de su punta. Esta aguja
indicadora se encarga de mostrar la temperatura
máxima alcanzada hasta la lectura.

• El botón giratorio rojo sirve para el ajuste de la aguja
rattrapante de valor mínimo, identicado también
mediante el color rojo de su punta. Esta aguja
indicadora se encarga de mostrar la temperatura
mínima alcanzada hasta la lectura.

5.2 Higrómetro y ambiente adecuado

• En caso de emplearlo en interiores, asegúrese de que
el aire del ambiente no sea demasiado caliente ni
demasiado seco. Un aire ambiente demasiado caliente y
seco afecta negativamente el bienestar, reseca la piel y
puede irritar las vías respiratorias.

• Una temperatura y una humedad ambiental adecuadas
también resultan relevantes para el mantenimiento de
muebles valiosos, instrumentos musicales, libros y plantas.

Nota – Ambiente adecuado

• Para vivir: aprox. 20 °C con una humedad ambiental
del 50 - 70 %

• Para dormir: aprox. 18 °C con una humedad
ambiental del 50 - 70 %

• Baño: aprox. 23 °C con una humedad ambiental
del 50 - 70 %

6. Mantenimiento y cuidado

Limpie este producto sólo con un paño que no suelte pelusas
ligeramente humedecido y no utilice limpiadores agresivos.
Asegúrese de que no entre agua en el productot.
