Wir freuen uns, dass Sie die Slide S2 Laser Gaming Mouse aus dem Hause Hama gewählt haben und gratulieren Ihnen zu dieser Entscheidung. Wir sind überzeugt, dass Ihnen unser Produkt in den nächsten Jahren eine Menge Spaß beim Spielen bereiten wird. Diese Kurzanleitung enthält wertvolle Hinweise zur Bedienung und Konﬁ guration der Maus. Bitte bewahren Sie diese Anleitung zum Nachschlagen an einem sicheren Ort auf.

IV. Installation

Software Installation

1. Legen Sie die mitgelieferte Software-CD in Ihr CD-ROM-Laufwerk ein.

2. Das Installationsprogramm wird automatisch gestartet.

3. Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, so führen Sie folgende Aktion durch: Klicken Sie auf: START > Ausführen > Durchsuchen Und wählen Sie Ihr CD-ROM-Laufwerk aus.

4. Doppelklicken Sie dann auf die Datei setup.exe.

5. Folgen Sie dann den Schritten des Installationsprogramm.

6. Starten Sie Ihren PC neu.

Hardware Installation

Verbinden Sie das USB-Kabel Ihrer Maus mit dem USB-Anschluss Ihres Computers. Unter Umständen wird Ihr Betriebssystem Sie auffordern Ihre Windows®- CD einzulegen, um die neue Hardware-Komponente zu installieren.

V. Funktionen

Real Time DPI-Switching Auch ohne installierte Software ist es möglich die Auﬂ ösung den Wünschen entsprechend einzustellen. Da hierbei keine Anzeige auf dem Schirm erscheint, wurde am Mausrad eine LED integriert, die den aktuellen DPIWert durch eine eigene Farbe anzeigt.

2000 dpi: weiß 800 dpi: blau 1600 dpi: rot 400 dpi: grün

Um die Auﬂ ösung zu verändern, drücken Sie die Tasten unterhalb des Scroll Rads.

Makro-Funktion

Die Hama Slide S2 Laser Gaming Mouse bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit bis zu 5 verschiedene Tastaturkommandos (= ein Makro) nacheinander mit einem Mausklick zu aktivieren und ablaufen zu lassen. Sie müssen lediglich einer Maustaste die Makrofunktion zuweisen (Im Menü „ Tasten“) und schon können Sie im Software-Menü unter dem Reiter „Makro“ die 5 Tasten festlegen. Sie können bis zu 3 Markos festlegen.

Die „Slide S2 Expand Software“ muss hierfür installiert sein.

Hot Button Menü

Wenn Sie in der Software einer Maustaste (im Registerreiter „Tasten“) das Hot-Button Menü zuweisen, können Sie schnell und bequem 18 verschiedene Anwendungen über die Schnellwahltaste auswählen. Neun Anwendungen sind bereits vorinstalliert, können aber wie die neun weiteren Plätze beliebig mit Anwendungen belegt werden. Dazu müssen Sie zunächst die Software festlegen, die über das Hot-Button Menü gestartet werden soll. Dabei wird im Hot-Button Menü eine Verknüpfung erstellt. Detaillierte Information ﬁ nden Sie im SoftwareMenü.

X/Y-Achsen sensitivität

Im Reiter X/Y-Achse können Sie die Empﬂ indlichkeit der Maus individuell einstellen. Gemäß Ihren Wünschen erhöhen/verringern Sie die Empﬁ ndlichkeit der X-Achse (links/rechts) bzw. der Y-Achse (oben/unten), in dem Sie den Schalter im Menü verschieben. Die Änderungen werden erst aktiviert, wenn Sie auf „Übernehmen“ geklickt haben.

Anmerkungen

• Um den gesamten Funktionsumfang der Maus nutzen zu können, müssen Sie die Software Slide S2 Expand Software“ installieren

• Üben Sie zunächst ein wenig mit den verschiedenen Auﬂ ösungen, um die für Sie beste zu ﬁ nden. Es bietet sich an vor allem in First-Person-Shootern zwei verschiedene DPI-Werte zu nutzen: einen geringeren Wert zum Zielen und Schießen (z.B.: 400 dpi) und einen hohen Wert für schnelle Bewegungsabläufe (z.B.: 2000 dpi)

• An Rechnern mit mehreren Benutzern ist eine separate Installation pro Benutzer nötig. Die Einstellungen werden dann für jeden Nutzer individuell gespeichert.

Thank you for choosing the Hama Slide S2 Laser Gaming Mouse, and congratulations on your decision! We are certain that our product will provide you with plenty of playing pleasure for years to come. These instructions contain valuable information on operating and conﬁ guring the mouse. Please keep these instructions in a safe location for future reference.

IV. Installation

Installing the software

1. Place the enclosed software CD into your CD-ROM drive.

2. The installation program is started automatically.

3. If this does not happen, proceed as follows: Click on: START > Run > Browse Then select your CD-ROM drive.

4. Double-click the setup.exe ﬁ le.

5. Then follow the steps in the installation program.

6. Restart your PC.

Installing the hardware

Connect the USB cable of your mouse to a USB port on your computer. Your operating system may prompt you to insert your Windows® CD to install the new hardware components.

V. Functions

Realtime DPI switching Even without the software being installed it is possible to adjust the resolution as desired. As there is no on-screen display for this, an LED was integrated into the wheel of the mouse which displays the current DPI value by means of a unique colour.

2000 DPI: white 800 DPI: blue 1600 DPI: red 400 DPI: green

In order to change the resolution, press on the button beneath the scroll wheel.

Macro function

The Hama Slide S2 Laser Gaming Mouse offers you the possibility of activating and running up to 5 different button commands (= a macro) sequentially with just the click of a mouse button. You only have to assign a macro function to a mouse button (under “Buttons” in the menu) and already you can specify the 5 buttons in the software menu through the Macro tab. You can specify up to 3 macros.

Note:

The “Slide S2 Expand Software” must be installed to do this.

Hot-button menu

If you assign the hot-button menu to a mouse button (in the registry tab “Buttons”) in the software, then you can quickly and easily select from 18 different applications through the quick-select button. Nine applications are already preinstalled, however, nine additional selections can be assigned to other applications. To do so you must ﬁ rst determine which software programs are to be started by means of the hot-button menu. A link is then made in the hot-button menu. Detailed information can be found in the software menu.

X/Y axis sensitivity

In the X/Y axis tab you can individually adjust the sensitivity of the mouse. You can increase/decrease the sensitivity of the X axis (left/right) or the Y axis (up/down) to suit your tastes by moving the switch in the menu. The changes are only activated after you click on “Apply changes”.

Note: The “Slide S2 Expand Software” must be installed to do this.

Notes

• In order to utilize the entire functional scope of the mouse you must install the software “Slide S2 Expand software”.

• Practice a little with the different resolutions in order to ﬁ nd the one that best suits you. Especially for ﬁ rst-person shooter programs, its worth using two different DPI values: a low value for aiming and shooting (e.g.: 400 DPI) and a high value for rapid moving scenes (e.g.: 1600 DPI)

• For computers with multiples users, a separate installation per user is necessary. The settings are then saved individually for each user.

IV. Installation

Installation du logiciel

1. Insérez le CD de logiciel fourni dans votre lecteur de CD-ROM.

2. Le programme d’installation démarre automatiquement.

3. Procédez comme suit si tel n’est pas le cas : Cliquez sur : Démarrer > Exécuter > Parcourir et sélectionnez votre lecteur de CD-ROM.

4. Double-cliquez sur le ﬁ chier setup.exe.

5. Suivez les étapes du programme d’installation.

6. Redémarrez votre ordinateur.

Installation du matériel

Connectez le câble USB de votre souris à un port USB de votre ordinateur. Il est possible que votre système d’exploitation exige que vous insériez le CD Windows® aﬁ n d’installer le nouveau matériel.

V. Fonctions

Application Switching Real Time DPI Il est possible de conﬁ gurer la résolution même sans avoir installé le logiciel. Comme dans ce cas aucune indication n’apparaît à l’écran, une DEL est intégrée à la molette de la souris aﬁ n d’afﬁ cher la valeur dpi actuelle par une couleur.

2000 dpi : blanc 800 dpi : bleu 1600 dpi : rouge 400 dpi : vert

Pour modiﬁ er la résolution, appuyez sur les touches situées sous la molette.

Fonction macro

La souris Gaming Mouse Slide S2 Laser de Hama vous permet d’activer successivement 5 commandes différentes du clavier (= un macro) avec un seul clic et de les passer en revue. Vous devez uniquement attribuer une fonction macro à une touche de la souris (voir le menu « Touches ») ce qui vous permet de déterminer les fonctions des 5 touches dans le menu du logiciel sous l’onglet « Macro ». Vous pouvez ﬁ xer jusqu‘à 3 macros.

Menu Hot Button

En attribuant, dans le logiciel, le menu Hot Button à une touche de la souris (dans l’onglet « Touches »), vous pourrez sélectionner, de manière rapide et confortable, 18 applications différentes à l’aide de la touche de sélection rapide. Neuf applications sont déjà pré-installées, cependant il est possible d‘affecter, à votre gré, des applications aux places qu‘elles occupent, tout comme aux neuf autres places encore libres. Vous devez premièrement déterminer le logiciel devant être démarré à l’aide du menu Hot Button. Un lien est créé dans le menu Hot Button à cet effet. Vous trouverez de plus amples informations dans le menu du logiciel.

Sensibilité sur les axes X-Y

L‘onglet Axe X-Y vous permet de régler la sensibilité de la souris comme il vous convient. Selon vos souhaits, vous augmentez/diminuez la sensibilité de l‘axe X (gauche/droite) ou de l‘axe Y (haut/bas) en déplaçant la réglette dans le menu. Les modiﬁ cations ne sont actives que si vous cliquez sur « Appliquer ».

• Dans un premier temps, exercez-vous avec les différentes résolutions aﬁ n de déterminer laquelle est appropriée à votre utilisation personnelle. Deux valeurs dpi différentes sont recommandées pour le commencement : une valeur inférieure pour viser et tirer (400 dpi par exemple) et un valeur supérieure pour les séries de mouvements rapides (1600 dpi par exemple).

• Une installation séparée par utilisateur est nécessaire dans le cas d’ordinateurs utilisés par plusieurs personnes. Dans ce cas, les réglages sont individuellement sauvegardés pour chaque utilisateur.
