2. Package Contents
Before you begin the installation of your new USB 2.0
Fast Ethernet Adapter, make sure that all components are
present:
• USB 2.0 Fast Ethernet Adapter
• Driver CD-ROM
• These operating instructions
3. Safety Notes
•The product is intended for private, non-commercial use
only.
•Use the product for its intended purpose only.
•Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating,
and only use it in a dry environment.
•Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of
heaters or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
•Lay all cables so that they do not pose a tripping hazard.
•Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any
major shocks.
•Dispose of packaging material immediately according to
locally applicable regulations
•Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids
the warranty.
Warning
• Do not open the product or continue to operate it
if it is damaged, which may be indicated by smoke,
odour or loud noises. Contact your dealer or our
service department immediately (see Service and

4.System Requirements
The Hama USB Fast Ethernet Adapter supports the
following operating systems:
• Windows 10/ 8.1/ 8/7
• MAC OS X 10.8 or higher
The computer/notebook must have a free USB 2.0/3.0
port. Power is supplied via the USB port.

5.Installing the driver
Installation on Windows:
To install the Fast Ethernet Adapter, insert the CD-ROM
provided into your CD-ROM drive. The Hama installation
wizard will then automatically start up.
Note: If the Hama installation wizard does not start
automatically, navigate to the CD-ROM drive in Windows
Explorer and double-click “Autorun.exe”.
You will then see the following screen.
Select the language required by clicking the corresponding
button.
In the next step, select the “Install Driver” option to install
the required drivers on your computer.
The “Users Guide” option will take you to another screen
where you will be able to view these instructions digitally.
In the screen that follows, select the correct operating
system by clicking the corresponding button.
The driver installation process will then start, please follow
the instructions indicated by the driver installation wizard
until installation is completed. Then insert the Fast Ethernet
Adapter into your PC/notebook. Windows will detect the
adapter and will automatically load the drivers you have
just installed.
Both LEDs on the adapter will light up/ash if installation
has been successful.
Installation on Mac OS X:
To install the Fast Ethernet Adapter, insert the CD-ROM
provided into your CD-ROM drive.
In Finder, navigate to the CD-ROM and open the “Driver”
and then the “Mac” directory. This directory contains the
corresponding drivers for your Mac system; double-click
on the “DMG” le and follow the driver installation wizard
instructions until installation is completed. Then insert the
Fast Ethernet Adapter into your Mac.
6. Care and Maintenance
• Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free
cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Make
sure that water does not get into the product.

3. Sicherheitshinweise

Der Hama USB Fast Ethernet Adapter unterstützt folgende

Der verwendete Computer/Notebook muss über eine freie
USB 2.0/3.0 Schnittstelle verfügen. Die Stromversorgung
erfolgt dabei über die USB Schnittstelle.

5.Treiberinstallation
Installation unter Windows:
Zur Installation des Fast Ethernet Adapters legen Sie zuerst
die beiliegende CD-ROM in Ihr Laufwerk ein. Im Anschluss
daran startet der Hama Installationsassistent automatisch.
Hinweis: Sollte der Hama Installationsassistent bei Ihnen
nicht automatisch starten, so wechseln Sie im Windows
Explorer auf die CD-ROM und klicken doppelt auf den
Eintrag „Autorun.exe“
Folgender Bildschirm wird Ihnen nun angezeigt.
Wählen Sie die gewünschte Sprache aus, indem Sie auf die
entsprechende Schaltäche klicken.
Im nächsten Schritt wählen Sie die Option „Treiber
Installieren“ um die fehlenden Treiber auf Ihren Computer
aufzuspielen.
Die Option „Anleitung anzeigen“ leitet Sie auf einen
anderen Bildschirm weiter, bei dem Sie diese Anleitung
nochmals in digitaler Form präsentiert bekommen.
Im nächsten Bildschirm wählen Sie das passende
Betriebssystem aus, indem Sie auf die entsprechende
Schaltäche klicken.
Die Treiberinstallation startet, bitte folgen Sie den
Anweisungen des Treiberassistenten bis dieser mit der
Installation abgeschlossen hat. Danach stecken Sie
den Fast Ethernet Adapter an Ihren PC/Notebook ein.
Windows erkennt nun den Adapter und spielt die soeben
installierten Treiber automatisch ein.
Sie erkennen die erfolgreiche Installation daran, dass auf
dem Adapter die beiden LED´s leuchten bzw. blinken.
Installation unter Mac OS X:
Zur Installation des Fast Ethernet Adapters legen Sie zuerst
die beiliegende CD-ROM in Ihr Laufwerk ein.
Wechseln Sie im Finder auf die CD-ROM und öffnen Sie
das Verzeichnis „Driver“ und anschließend „Mac“. In
diesem Verzeichnis nden Sie für Ihr Mac System den
passenden Treiber, klicken Sie doppelt auf die „DMG“
Datei und folgen den Anweisungen des Treiberassistenten
bis dieser mit der Installation abgeschlossen hat. Danach
stecken Sie den Fast Ethernet Adapter an Ihren Mac ein.
Sie erkennen die erfolgreiche Installation daran, dass auf
dem Adapter die beiden LED´s leuchten bzw. blinken.
6. Wartung und Pflege
• Reinigen Sie dieses Produkt nur mit einem fusselfreien,
leicht feuchten Tuch und verwenden Sie keine
aggressiven Reiniger. Achten sie darauf, dass kein
Wasser in das Produkt eindringt.

4.Configuration système requise
L‘adaptateur USB Fast Ethernet de Hama prend en charge
les systèmes d‘exploitation suivants :
• Windows 10/ 8.1/ 8/7
• Mac OS X à partir de 10.8.x
Votre ordinateur portable/de bureau doit disposer d‘une
interface USB 2.0/3.0 libre. L’alimentation électrique est
assurée via l’interface USB.

5.Installation du pilote
Installation sous Windows :
Insérez le pilote fourni sur CD-ROM dans votre lecteur an
de démarrer l’installation de l’adaptateur Fast Ethernet.
L’assistant d’installation devrait s’ouvrir automatiquement.
Remarque : Dans le cas où l’assistant d‘installation de
Hama ne démarre pas automatiquement, sélectionnez,
dans l’explorateur Windows, le lecteur dans lequel vous
avez inséré le CD-ROM et double-cliquer sur le chier «
autorun.exe ».
La fenêtre suivante apparaît à l’écran.
Sélectionnez la langue souhaitée en cliquant sur le bouton
concerné.
Dans l‘étape suivante, sélectionnez l‘option « Installer le
pilote ».
L’option « Acher le mode d’emploi » vous permet
d’ouvrir une fenêtre contenant la version numérique du
mode d’emploi.
Sélectionnez votre mode d’exploitation dans la fenêtre
suivante en cliquant sur le bouton concerné.
L’installation du pilote démarre ; veuillez suivre les
instructions de l’assistant jusqu’à la n de l’installation.
Connectez ensuite l’adaptateur Fast Ethernet à votre
ordinateur portable/de bureau. Windows reconnaît
l’adaptateur et attribue automatiquement les pilotes que
vous venez d’installer à l’appareil.
Vous reconnaîtrez la conformité de l’installation à
l’allumage ou au clignotement des deux voyants LED de
l’adaptateur.
Installation sous Mac OS X :
Insérez le pilote fourni sur CD-ROM dans votre lecteur an
de démarrer l’installation de l’adaptateur Fast Ethernet.
Dans votre Finder, sélectionnez le CD-ROM et ouvrez le
répertoire « Driver », puis « Mac ». Vous trouverez, dans
ce répertoire, le pilote approprié à votre système Mac
OS ; double-cliquez sur le chier « DMG » et suivez les
instructions de l’assistant jusqu’à la n de l’installation.
Connectez ensuite l’adaptateur Fast Ethernet à votre
ordinateur.
Vous reconnaîtrez la conformité de l’installation à
l’allumage ou au clignotement des deux voyants LED de
l’adaptateur.
6. Nettoyage et entretien
• Nettoyez ce produit uniquement à l’aide d’un chiffon
non pelucheux légèrement humide ; évitez tout
détergent agressif. Veillez à ce qu’aucun liquide ne
pénètre dans le produit.

4.Requisitos del sistema
El adaptador Fast Ethernet USB de Hama es compatible con

El ordenador/portátil utilizado debe disponer de un puerto
USB 2.0/3.0 libre. La alimentación de corriente se realiza

5.Instalación de controladores
Instalación bajo Windows:
Para la instalación del adaptador Fast Ethernet, coloque
en primer lugar el CD-ROM incluido en la bandeja de
CD. El asistente para la instalación de Hama se inicia
automáticamente.
Nota: En caso de que el asistente para la instalación de
Hama no se inicie automáticamente, acceda al CD-ROM
desde el Explorador de Windows y haga doble clic en
«Autorun.exe».
Se le mostrará la siguiente pantalla:
Seleccione el idioma deseado haciendo clic sobre el botón
correspondiente.
En el siguiente paso, seleccione la opción «Instalar
controlador» para instalar en su ordenador los
controladores que falten.
La opción «Mostrar instrucciones» le conduce a otra
pantalla en la que se le presentan estas instrucciones en
forma digital.
En la siguiente pantalla, seleccione el sistema operativo
adecuado, haciendo clic en el botón correspondiente.
La instalación del controlador comienza, siga las
instrucciones del asistente de instalación hasta que
este nalice la instalación. Seguidamente, conecte el
adaptador Fast Ethernet a su PC/portátil. Windows
reconoce ahora el adaptador y ejecuta automáticamente
los controladores recién instalados.
Sabrá que la instalación ha nalizado correctamente
porque ambos LEDs del adaptador se iluminan o
parpadean.
Instalación bajo Mac OS X:
Para la instalación del adaptador Fast Ethernet, coloque
en primer lugar el CD-ROM incluido en la bandeja de CD.
En el explorador, acceda al CD-ROM, abra la carpeta
«Driver» y, a continuación, «Mac». En esta carpeta
encontrará el controlador adecuado para su sistema
Mac. Haga doble clic sobre el archivo «DMG» y siga las
instrucciones del asistente del controlador hasta que
este nalice la instalación. Seguidamente, conecte el
adaptador Fast Ethernet a su Mac.

6. Mantenimiento y cuidado
• Limpie este producto sólo con un paño ligeramente
humedecido que no deje pelusas y no utilice detergentes
agresivos. Asegúrese de que no entre agua en el interior
del producto.

2. Комплект поставки
Перед вводом изделия в эксплуатацию проверьте
комплектность поставки:
• Переходник USB 2.0 Fast Ethernet
• Компакт-диск с ПО
• Настоящая инструкция
3. Техника безопасности
•Изделие предназначено только для домашнего
применения.
•Запрещается использовать не по назначению.
•Беречь от грязи, влаги и источников тепла.
Эксплуатировать только в сухих условиях.
•Не эксплуатировать в непосредственной близости
с нагревательными приборами, беречь от прямых
солнечных лучей.
•Кабели не должны создавать помехи перемещению
людей.
•Не ронять. Беречь от сильных ударов.
•Утилизировать упаковку в соответствии с местными
нормами.
•Запрещается вносить изменения в конструкцию.
В противном случае гарантийные обязательства
аннулируются.
Предупреждение
• Изделие не открывать. Запрещается
эксплуатировать изделие при наличии
повреждений, дыма, запаха, неестественных
шумов. Обращаться к продавцу или в службу
сервиса (см. «Техобслуживание»).
4. Требования к системе
Переходник Hama USB Fast Ethernet работает в
следующих ОС:
• Windows 10/ 8.1/ 8/7
• Mac OS X от 10.8
В компьютере требуется свободный разъем USB 2.0/3.0.
Питание осуществляется через USB.

Установка программного обеспечения
Установка в Windows:
Загрузите в дисковод компакт-диск с ПО.
Автоматически запустится диспетчер установки Hama.
Примечание! Если диспетчер установки не запустился
автоматически, через обозреватель откройте корневую
папку компакт-диска и дважды нажмите файл
«Autorun.exe».
Откроется следующее окно.
Выберите язык установки.
В следующем окне нажмите «Установить», чтобы
установить недостающее в ОС программное
обеспечение.
Чтобы прочитать инструкцию, нажмите «Открыть
инструкцию».
В следующем окне выберите свою ОС.
Во время установки следуйте командам диспетчера.
По окончании установки подключите переходник Fast
Ethernet к компьютеру. Windows определит переходник
и автоматически подключит только что установленное
ПО.
Если установка завершена успешно, на переходнике
будут гореть (мигать) две лампы.
Установка в Mac OS X:
Загрузите в дисковод компакт-диск с ПО.
Откройте на компакт-диске папку «Driver» и «Mac».
Дважды нажмите на файл «DMG» и следуйте
инструкциям диспетчера уст
ановки. По ок
ончании
установки подключите переходник Fast Ethernet к
компьютеру.
Если установка завершена успешно, на переходнике
будут гореть (мигать) две лампы.
6. Уход и техобслуживание
• Чистку изделия производить только безворсовой
слегка влажной салфеткой. Запрещается применять
агрессивные чистящие средства. Следите за тем,
чтобы в устройство не попала вода.

ответственность за ущерб, возникший вследствие
неправильного монтажа, подключения и
использования изделия не по назначению, а также
вследствие несоблюдения инструкции по эксплуатации

Охрана окружающей среды:
С момента перехода национального
законодательства на европейские нормативы
2002/96/EU и 2006/66/EU действительно

обычным мусором. Потребитель, согласно закону,
обязан утилизировать электрические и электронные
приборы, а также батареи и аккумуляторы после их
использования в специально предназначенных для
этого пунктах сбора, либо в пунктах продажи.
Детальная регламентация этих требований
осуществляется соответствующим местным
законодательством. Необходимость соблюдения
данных предписаний обозначается особым значком на
изделии, инструкции по эксплуатации или упаковке.
При переработке, повторном использовании
материалов или при другой форме утилизации бывших
в употреблении приборов Вы помогаете охране
окружающей среды. В соответствии с предписаниями
по обращению с батареями, в Германии
вышеназванные нормативы действуют для утилизации
батарей и аккумуляторов.
