Wichtiger Hinweis bevor Sie das Produkt benutzen:

Bitte lesen Sie sich diese Anleitung vollständig durch und danach installieren Sie
das Produkt, wie in dieser Anleitung beschrieben. Ansonsten kann es sein, dass
das Produkt nicht einwandfrei funktioniert!

Achtung! Installieren Sie unbedingt die mitgelieferte Software, bevor Sie das
Hama USB 2.0 PC Link Kabel an den Computer einstecken.

Installation unter Windows 98 Zweite Ausgabe
bzw. Windows Millenium Edition ( ME ):

Nachdem das Betriebssystem geladen ist und der Desktop vollständig aufgebaut
wurde, legen Sie bitte die Tr eiber CD-ROM in Ihr Laufwerk ein. Öffnen Sie nun
den Arbeitsplatz und wählen Ihr Laufwerk mit der eingelegten CD-ROM aus.
Klicken Sie nun doppelt auf die Datei PL2501_v1007ML.exe.
Alternativ Klicken Sie auf -> Start -> Ausführen -> und geben Sie
D:\PL2501_v1007ML.exe ein ( wobei D: u.U. durch den Laufwerksbuchstaben
Ihres CD-ROM Laufwerkes ersetzt werden muss ).
Jetzt wird das Installationsprogramm gestartet. Klicken Sie nach dem
Willkommensbildschirm auf -> Weiter und anschließen auf -> Fertigstellen,
damit ist die Softwareinstallation abgeschlossen.

Wichtige Hinweise: 98 Zweite Ausgabe und ME
Ob der Controller ordnungsgemäß installiert wurde, können Sie unter Start ->
Einstellungen -> Systemsteuerung -> System -> Hardware -> Geräte-Manager

nachsehen. Folgender Eintrag muss ohne gelbes Ausrufezeichen vorhanden sein:

Installation unter Windows 2000 bzw. Windows XP:

Wichtige Hinweise: 2000 und XP:
Ob der Controller ordnungsgemäß installiert wurde, können Sie unter Start ->
Einstellungen -> Systemsteuerung -> System -> Hardware -> Geräte-Manager
(klassich) oder Start -> Systemsteuerung -> Leistung und Wartung -> System ->
Hardware -> Geräte-Manager nachsehen. Folgender Eintrag muss ohne gelbes

Allgemeine Information:

Nachdem Sie die Installation auf dem 2. PC wiederholt haben, können Sie jetzt
über das Icon Pclinq2 die Software für die Datenübertragung starten. Bitte
beachten Sie, dass für eine ordnungsgemäße Funktion beide LED´s in der rech­ten unteren Ecke des Programmfensters grün leuchten müssen. Sollte das nicht
der Fall sein und eine der beiden LED´s rot leuchten, stimmt die Kabelverbindung
nicht. Evtl. hilft ein Ein- und Ausstecken des USB Kabels! Ausserdem stellen Sie
sicher das die Software PcLinq2 an beiden Rechnern gestartet wurde!
Sobald Sie die Software gestartet haben ist als Sprache standartmäßig Englisch
eingestellt, um die Sprache auf Deutsch oder eine andere umzustellen, klicken
Sie bitte auf View und wählen den Menüpunkt Option.

In den nun geöffneten Optionsmenü können Sie unter den Punkt Language auf
Ihre bevorzugte Sprache per Pull-Down Menü wechseln, zur Bestätigung klicken
Sie auf die Schaltfläche OK. Die Bedienung der eigentlichen Software ist genau­so, wie Sie es von dem Windows Explorer gewohnt sind.

Important before you use the product:

Please read these instructions completely before installing the product as des­cribed in the instructions. If you do not do so, the product may not function pro­perly!

Caution! Yo u must install the enclosed software before connecting the Hama
USB 2.0 PC Link cable to the computer.

Installation on Windows 98 Second Edition or Windows Millennium Edition (ME):

After the operating system has loaded and the desktop is complete, insert the
driver CD-ROM in your drive. Open My Computer and select the drive where you
inserted the CD-ROM. Double-click the PL2501-v1007ML.exe file.
Alternatively, click Start -> Run -> and enter "D:\PL2501_v1007ML.exe" (replace
“D” with the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive).
The installation program is started. After the welcome screen, click -> Next and
then -> Finish. This completes the software installation.

Installing drivers for Windows 2000 / Windows XP:

or Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System ->

General information:
Once you have repeated the installation process on the 2nd PC, you can click the
Pclinq2 icon to start the data transmission software. Please note that both LEDs

at the bottom right corner of the program window must light green for the soft­ware to function properly. If this is not the case, and one of the two LEDs is red,
there is a problem with the cable connection. Disconnecting and connecting the
USB cable may help! You should also ensure that the PcLinq2 software was star­ted on both computers!
English is set as the default language when you start the software. Click View
and select the Option menu item to change to German or any other language.
In the open Option menu, select the required language using the pull-down
menu under the Language item. Click OK to confirm. Software operation is
identical to that of Windows Explorer.

Remarque importante avant la première utilisation :

Veuillez lire cette notice d’utilisation avant d’installez le produit conformément
aux instructions. Sinon, il est possible que le produit ne fonctionne par parfaite­ment !

Attention ! Il est impératif d’installer le logiciel fourni avant de raccorder le câble
link USB 2.0 Hama à votre ordinateur.

Installation sous Windows 98 deuxième édition ou
Windows Millenium Edition ( ME ) :

Insérez le CD-ROM pilote dans le lecteur après avoir entièrement démarré votre
système d’exploitation. Ouvrez votre poste de travail, puis sélectionnez le
lecteur contenant le CD-ROM. Double-cliquez sur le fichier PL2501_v1007ML.exe.
Vous pouvez également cliquer sur -> Démarrer -> Exécuter -> et saisir
D:\PL2501_v1007ML.exe (la lettre D peut éventuellement être remplacée par la
lettre correspondant à votre lecteur de CD-ROM).
Le programme d’installation démarre automatiquement. Cliquez sur -> Suivant
après l'ouverture de l'écran de bienvenue, puis sur -> Terminer afin de quitter la
procédure d'installation.

Consignes importantes : 98 deuxième édition et ME

Vous pouvez vérifier si le contrôleur a été correctement installé en consultant

Démarrer -> Paramètres -> Panneau de configuration -> Système -> Matériel ->
Gestionnaire de périphérique. Les entrées suivantes doivent y être affichées

sans point d’exclamation jaune :

Installation sous Windows 2000 ou Windows XP :

Insérez le CD-ROM pilote dans votre lecteur après avoir entièrement démarré
votre système d’exploitation. Ouvrez votre poste de travail, puis sélectionnez le
lecteur contenant le CD-ROM. Double-cliquez sur le fichier PL2501_v1007ML.exe.
Vous pouvez également cliquer sur -> Démarrer -> Exécuter -> et saisir
D:\PL2501_v1007ML.exe (la lettre D peut éventuellement être remplacée par la
lettre correspondant à votre lecteur de CD-ROM).
Le programme d’installation démarre automatiquement. Cliquez sur -> Suivant
après l'ouverture de l'écran de bienvenue, puis sur -> Terminer afin de quitter la
procédure d'installation.

Consignes importantes : 2000 et XP :

Vous pouvez vérifier que le contrôleur a été correctement installé en consultant

Suppression/ajout de matériel -> Gestionnaire des périphériques (classique) ou

maintenance -> Système -> Matériel -> Gestionnaire de périphériques. Les

entrées suivantes doivent y être affichées sans point d’exclamation jaune :

Informations générales :

Après avoir effectué l'installation sur le deuxième ordinateur, vous pouvez alors
lancer le logiciel de transmission de données à l’aide de l’icône « PClinq2 ».
Veuillez noter que les deux DEL situées dans le coin inférieur droit de votre écran
doivent s’allumer en vert si les deux ordinateurs sont correctement raccordés.
Si tel n’est pas le cas ou si une des deux DEL s’allume en rouge, le raccordement
est incorrect. Te ntez de débrancher et de rebrancher le câble ! Assurez-vous
également que le logiciel PcLinq2 est bien lancé sur les deux ordinateurs.
L’ anglais est sélectionné comme langue par défaut dès que vous lancez le
logiciel ; si vous désirez sélectionner une autre langue, veuillez cliquer sur View,
puis sélectionnez l’item de menu Option.
Dans le menu d’options, vous pouvez sélectionnez la langue désirée à l’aide du
menu déroulant « Language » ; cliquez sur le bouton OK afin de confirmer votre
saisie. La commande du logiciel est identique à celle de Windows Explorer.
