EDID READER/WRITER
1.0 Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Hall Research
Model USB-EDID-HD15. This device is used
to save, read and write 128 or 256 byte
EDID’s.
The product consists of a cable with a USB
and HD15 (female) connectors.
There is a free GUI available on our website for download. The GUI only supports
reading and writing values, no modification is allowed.
NOTE
ALWAYS USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN USING THIS DEVICE.
HALL RESEARCH IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO ANY
DEVICE FROM THE EDID INFORMATION BEING OVERWRITTEN.

Install the GUI software onto any Windows™ Compatible PC
Run the software from the Start Menu:

4.0 Operation
Connect the USB-EDID-HD15 to a working USB port on the PC
If you run the GUI software, the “WRITE EDID” and “READ EDID” buttons will
be enabled if the devices was properly detected.
The USB-EDID-HD15 MUST be plugged into the PC before running the GUI
software. Failure to do so disables those functions.
