Description
The USB3-EXT-16 is a repeater that can extend USB 3.0 at
5 Gbps to 5 meters (16 ft). No power supply connection is
needed when using one or two repeaters in a daisy-chain.
However the unit provides a power supply jack for daisychaining upto 4 repeaters to achieve 20 m (65 ft).

You can connect 2 repeaters without needing a power
supply, however for long daisy chains, or for connecting to
power hungry USB devices a 5v supply is needed (not
supplied). Power supply should be plugged to last unit in
chain. Requirement: 5v DC at 1A min, 1.7 mm ID center +
