The FOLIGAIN.L7x® Advanced Laser Comb Powered by HairMax® is
a very effective device when used correctly. It is manufactured using
precision components and should last 10-15 years under normal usage.
Please take time to read the entire User Manual before operating
the Laser Comb.
FOLIGAIN.L7x® Advanced Laser Comb
Use the Laser Comb for 15 minutes, 3 times a
week. The treatments should be spaced
every other day, for example, on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday. Move the Laser Comb
slowly 1/2 inch (1 cm) every 4 seconds.
It is recommended, but not essential, that the Laser Comb be used
on a clean scalp after washing. Your hair can be wet, towel-dried or
dry. The Laser Comb should be used prior to applying any topical
treatments, gels, spray or concealing products.

Your Laser Comb comes with four
AA batteries already installed. Prior
to use, remove the cardboard strip
located in the battery compartment
(Figure A). For more detailed
instructions on how to remove the
cardboard strip and to replace the
batteries, please refer to your User
Manual.
To turn on the Laser Comb slide the
power/laser button to the middle or
top position. Middle position activates
the laser and vibrate feature. Top
position is laser only (Figure B).

Advanced Laser Comb is indicated to treat Androgenetic Alopecia, and promote hair growth in males who
have Norwood Hamilton Classications of IIa to V and in females who have Ludwig (Savin) I-4, II-1, II-2, or frontal patterns of hair
loss and who both have Fitzpatrick Skin Types I to IV.
REMOVABLE CARDBOARD STRIP
Before beginning treatment, be sure to
test the Laser Comb for sensitivity (see
page 5 of your User Manual). To start
your treatment, place the Laser Comb
at on your scalp so that both rows of
teeth are touching the scalp (Figure C).
Start at your hairline. Move the Laser
Comb from front to back of scalp in a
slow combing motion, stopping every ½
inch (1 cm) and pausing for 4 seconds
(Figure D). Do not lift the Laser Comb
off your scalp while combing from front
to back.
Next, lift the Laser Comb off your
scalp and start at a new position at the
hairline. Continue in this manner from
front to back, then side to side, (Figure
E) until you cover your entire scalp with
multiple passes. When the Laser Comb
is on, it will vibrate every 4 seconds. This
means that it is time to move the Laser
Comb to the next area of your scalp.
Repeat these phases within the required
treatment of 15 minutes.
If you have long hair, use your ngers to
lift your hair out of the way while using
the Laser Comb to be sure that the laser
energy reaches your scalp (Figure F).
After treatment, turn off the Laser
Comb by sliding the power/laser button
to the lowest position. (Figure G). Store
the device in the cradle/stand for future
use.
PLEASE NOTE:
• The total time required for treatment with the FOLIGAIN.L7x
®
Advanced Laser Comb is 15 minutes.
• It is important to move the Laser Comb very slowly. Remember, you
are bathing the scalp with laser light. If you move it too fast, the
treatment will not achieve the optimal results to promote hair growth.
• While there are no negative effects from overuse, it is recommended
that you use the Laser Comb according to directions.
• The Laser Comb has advanced electronics to make sure that the
device is working properly. If you are experiencing difculties with
your device, please refer to the Troubleshooting section of your User
Manual before sending it back to us for repair.
