About wide-temp zone
The appliance has a wide temp zone (-3°C~-18°C). When temperature is set at -18°C, the zone can be used as freezer compartment. When temperature is set between -3°C and -7°C, the zone has the following advantages:
* Defrosting free: Food in storage in the wide temp zone can be prepared for cooking
without manual or microwave defrosting
* Nutritional value preservation: Nutritional values of food in storage in the wide temp
zone can be better preserved.
* Easy processing: Meat in wide temp zone can be easily cut; Minced meat in wide temp
zone can serve directly. * Stored overlapped food in wide temp zone can be easily separated before serve. * Extended storage period as follows: 14 days for meat and 7 days for fish under -7°C;
10 days for meat and 5 days for fish under -5°C; 7 days for meat and 3 days for fish
under -3°C.
Food recommended for storage (-3°C~-7°C):
Fresh fish and meat, food with curry coating, minced meat, fresh fruit juice
Food not recommended for storage (-3°C~-7°C):
Ice cream and frozen food, which should be stored in the freezing compartment.
Advantages of wide temp zone (-3°C~-7°C):
* Fried food will be crisper if stored in the wide temp zone in advance. * Cold dishes will become more delicious if stored in the wide temp zone before serving. * Roasted sashimi and cuttlefish will be more delicious after stored in the wide temp
zone. * Salad will be more delicious after stored in the wide temp zone. * Vegetables such as spinach stored in the compartment can be served after slightly
steeped in hot water. * Nutrient value and natural flavor of fresh fruits will be well preserved after stored in the
wide temp zone. * Efficient cooling function for hot food can be achieved.
Caution: Cutting of meat or fish may vary due to their moisture contents and sharpenness of kitchen knife. It is suggested that the meat or fish be cut after being placed in room temperature a few minutes.
