• Use this fan only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electrical shock or injury to persons, and may void the
warranty.

• Do not operate this product with any solid-state speed control device.

• Always unplug the unit when not in use, before assembly or disassembly, when moving
from one location to another and before cleaning.

• To disconnect, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull on the cord.

• The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may
cause hazards.

• Avoid contact with moving parts. DO NOT insert finger or any object into the grill.

• DO NOT operate this fan if the cord or plug is damaged, if there is a malfunction, or if
it has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Never operate the fan if the fan
housing has been removed or damaged.

• Do not operate the fan in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.

• Do not place the fan or any parts near an open flame, or any heated surfaces.

• Do not leave the product unattended while in use, especially when children are
present.

• This product is intended for household use only and is not recommended for
commercial or industrial use.

• Do not use outdoors.

• Always use on a dry, flat, level surface.

• Keep unit away from water and windows where rain may enter and come in contact
with the unit.

• A loose fit between the AC outlet and plug may cause overheating of the plug. Have a
qualified electrician replace the outlet.

• DO NOT run the cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs,
runners, etc. Arrange the cord away from high traffic areas, where it can be tripped
over.

• NEVER connect the fan to any power sources other than a 120 Volt alternating current
polarized outlet.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS!

WARNING: This fan is equipped with a polarized alternating current line plug (one
blade is wider than the other). This plug fits into the power outlet only one way. This is a
safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the
plug. If the plug still fails to fit, contact an electrician to replace the obsolete outlet. Do
not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug

Assembly Instructions

• Carefully remove your fan from the box. (Please save the carton for off-season storage.)

• Assemble the fan head to the fan base by screwing the tilt adjustment knob to the nut tightly.

Operating Instructions

• Place the fan on a dry, level surface.

• Make sure the power switch is in the OFF position.

• Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC, 60 Hz outlet.

• To turn on the fan, slide the switch to the desired speed (HI or LOW)

• To adjust the fan tilt:

a) Loosen the Tilt Adjustment Knob.
b) Adjust the tilt to the desired angle.
c) Securely tighten the Tilt Adjustment Knob.

• To turn of f the fan, slide the switch to the OFF position

• Unplug the product from the electrical outlet when it is not in use or

when left unattended.

Cleaning and Maintenance Instructions

WARNING! Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing so

will void the warranty.

• Before cleaning, be sure to turn off and unplug the unit.

• Keep the fan clean. Carefully wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Please be

very cautious near the motor.

• DO NOT immerse the fan in water and never allow water to drip into the

motor housing.

• Never use gasoline, benzene or thinner to clean the unit. This will damage the surface of the unit.

• After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the unit with a cloth or towel.

Limited Warranty

This item is warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the
original date of purchase under normal household use. Within the warranty period, we will replace the product. This
warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser, and excludes any damage to the product resulting from accident
or misuse. The product is not warranted when used in a commercial or business environment. The above warranty is
complete and exclusive. The warrantor expressly disclaims liability for any special, incidental, indirect, or
consequential damages in connection with the purchase or use of this product or costs over the original purchase
price. Any implied warranties arising by operation of law shall be limited in duration to the terms of this warranty.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, which vary by jurisdiction. This warranty
is valid only within the United States of America.
IMPORTANT! Do not return this product to your retailer. If for any reason this product malfunctions, please follow the
directions below and return the product to the manufacturer to receive areplacement product of equal or greater value.

Cut the power cord off the product. (MAKE SURE THAT THE PRODUCT IS REMOVED FROM THE POWER OUTLET.)
Remove the rating tag/label from the back or bottom of the product. Return both items to the closest return center with
a check for $5.99 to cover shipping and handling. Please be sure to include your return address. Allow 10-15
working days for shipment.
