IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this appliance, always exercise basic safety
precautions, including the following:
WARNING: To Reduce The Risk Of Fire Or Electrical Hazard, Do Not Use This Fan
With Any Solid-State Speed Control Device.
WARNING: To Reduce The Risk Of Electric Shock And Injury To Persons, Do Not
Use This Box Fan in A Window.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.
• This product is intended for general use in cooling room temperature.
• Do not use the product for any purpose other than its intended use.
• Never insert fingers or any other object through the Fan Guards. Never drop or
insert objects into any opening of the product.
• Do not place this Fan in or near an open window. Rain, snow, and other weather
elements may create an electrical hazard.
• Always operate the product on a flat, steady, and stable surface to avoid it
overturning.
• Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. This product is not
intended for use by children.
• Do not leave the product unattended while in use, especially when children are
present.
• Unplug Fan from wall outlet when not in use or moving to another location or for
cleaning.
• Always operate the Fan on a flat, steady, and stable surface to avoid it
overturning.
• Keep Power Cord and product away from open flame, cooking or heated surfaces.
• Do not operate Fan near or in the presence of explosive or flammable fumes or
materials.
• Never operate the Fan without Guards in place, as serious personal injury may
result.
• Do not allow the Power Cord to hang (i.e., over the edge of a table or counter)
where it may be tripped over or pulled.
• Do not operate the product if the Power Cord is cut, damaged, or if the wires are
exposed.
• Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when cleaning it. Do not
plug/unplug the product into/from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
• To disconnect, grasp the plug and pull from wall outlet, never pull the Power Cord.
• Do not operate Fan with damaged Cord or Plug, after malfunctions, or dropped, or
damaged in any matter. This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt
to examine or repair this product yourself. Return the product to a service center for
examination and repair.

• Do not immerse the Motor Housing, Cord, or Plug in, or expose them to, water or
other liquids.
• Do not use outdoors, this product is intended for indoor use only.
• This product is intended for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY and not for commercial or
industrial use.

CAUTION: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other blade) as a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical
shock. This plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. This is a
safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical
outlet, try reversing the plug. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to
defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.
CAUTION: If using an extension cord with this product, the marked electrical
rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as
the electrical rating of the product. Never use the plug with anextension
cord unless the plug can be fully inserted into the extension cord.
RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION
1. Never insert fingers or any other objects through the grille guard when fan is in
operation.
2. Disconnect the fan when moving from one location to another.
3. Disconnect the fan when removing guards for cleaning.
4. Be sure fan is on a stable, flat surface when in operation.
5. DO NOT use fan in windows. Rain and moisture may create electrical hazard.
CAUTION: Be sure FRONT and REAR GUARDS screw are completely screwed
down in locking position before operation.
TO ADJUST AIRFLOW UPWARD OR DOWNWARD: Tilt fan head to the
desired angle. This high velocity fan can be used alone or in conjunction with air
conditioning. Rotating the fan head upward serves to pull air from the floor and
circulate it throughout the entire room.
How to Adjust Tilt
1. Insert knob to tilt nut.
2. Use knob to loosen tilt nut by turning counter clockwise.
3. Adjust fan head to the desired angle.
4. Tighten the tilt nut by turning clockwise.
5. Keep knob for future use.
Speed Control: Rotate SWITCH to LOW.
MIDDLE AND HIGH speeds for desired air velocity. It is normal for the motor to feel
warm to the touch after continuous operation. This fan features a thermal cutoff that
will automatically shut off the fan should it overheat for any reason. If this happens,
immediately unplug the fan from the outlet.

Care and Maintenance
CAUTION: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE PRODUCT FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET
PRIOR TO CLEANING IT.
Clean the plastic parts with a mild soap and a damp cloth or sponge.
Never use liquids or abrasive cleaners to clean the fan.
Periodically check the screws on the product to ensure they are securely tightened.
Store the product in a cool, dry place.

Limited Warranty
This item is warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a
period of five (5) year from the original date of purchase under normal household
use. Within the warranty period, we will repair or replace the product at our
discretion. This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser, and excludes
any damage to the product resulting from accident or misuse. This product is not
covered, when used in a commercial environment, for which it was not intended.
The above warranty is complete and exclusive. The warrantor expressly disclaims
liability for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages in connection
with the purchase or use of this product or costs over the original purchase price.
Any implied warranties arising by operation of law shall be limited in duration to
the terms of this warranty.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, which
vary by jurisdiction.
