Disposal of the old air conditioner
Before disposing an old air conditioner that goes out of use. Please make sure it's inoperative and safe.
Unplug the air conditioner in order to avoid the risk of child entrapment.
It must be noticed that air conditioner system contains refrigerants, which require specialized waste
disposal. The valuable materials contained in a air conditioner can be recycled. Contact your local waste
disposal center for proper disposal of an old air conditioner and contact your loal authority or your dealer
if you have any qestion. Please ensure that the pipework of your air conditioner does not get damaged
prior to being picked up by the relevant waste disposal center, and contribute to environmental awareness
by insisting on an appropriate, anti-pollution method of disposal.
Disposal of the packaging of your new air conditioner
All the packaging materials employed ing the package of your new conditioner may be disposed without
any danger to the environment.
The cardboard box may be broken or cut into smaller pieces and given to a waste paper diposal service.
The wrapping bag made of polyethylene and the polyethylene foam pads contain no fluorochloric
hydrocarbon.
All these valuable materials may be taken to a waste collecting center and used again after adequate
recycling.
Consult your local authorities for the mame and address of the waste materials collecting centers and
waste paper diposal services nearest to your house.
Safety Instructions and Warnings
Before starting the air conditioner, read the information given in the User's Guide carefully.The user's
guide contains very important observations relating to the assembly, operation and maintenance of the
air conditioner.
The manufacturer does not accept responsibility for any damages that may airse due to non-observation
of the following instruction.
Damaged air conditioners are not to be put into operation. In case of doubt, consult your supplier.
Use of the air conditioner is to be carried out in strict compliance with the relative instructions set
forth in the User's Guide.
Installation shall be done by professional people, don't install unit by yourself.
For the purpose of safety, the air conditioner must be properly grounded in accordance with spectifications.
The wiring method should be in line with the local wiring standand.

Cautions
Always remember to unplug air conditioner before opening inlet grill. Never unplug your air conditioner
by pulling on the power cord. Always grip plug firmly and pull straight out from the outlet.
All electrical repairs must be carried out by qualified electricians. Inadequate repairs may result in a
major source of danger for the user of the air conditioner.
Do not damage any parts of the air conditoner that carry refrigerant by piercing or perforating the air
conditioner's tubes with sharp or pointed items, crushing or twisting any tubes, or scraping the coatings
off the surfaces. If the refrigerant spurts out and gets into eyes, it may result in serious eye injuries.
Do not use this unit for any other purposes except for the Cooling,Heating. Dehumidifying, and aircirculation of rooms in ordinary dwellings.
Do not obstruct or cover the ventilation grille of the air conditioner. Do not put fingers or any other
things into the inlet/outlet and swing louver.
Do not allow children to play with the air cinditioner. In no case should children be allowed to sit on
the oudoor unit.
Specifications
1. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a
similar qualified person.
2. The wiring method should be in line with the local wiring standard.
3. The appliance must be installed on strong enough supporter.
4. The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision.
5. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
6. If the fuse on PC board is broken please change it with the type of AC250V 6.3A.
If the fuse on main circuit is broken please change it with the same type of AC250V
20A or AC DC 600V 15A or AC DC 600V 7A.

Warnings
Installation by consignment
Installation shall be carried out by after-sale
service personnel. Installation by customers
may cause water-leakage, creepage or fire
accidents by improper operation.
Connections of the ground bus
Ground bus shall not be connected to the coal
gas pipes, water pipes, lightning rods or
telephone lines. Improper grounding may
cause creepage and electric injury.
Taken measures to prevent refrigerant from
leakage
Once concentration of the leaked refrigerant
reached a certain limit, it shall result in lack
of oxygen. If the room where air-conditioner
is installed is very small, effective measures
shall be taken to prevent the occurring of
lack of oxygen even if the refrigerant leaks.
It is forbidden to put finger or objects into
the inlet and outlet when the air-conditioner
is under operation. The rotating fan may cause
body injury and machine damage
once it is touched.
Comply with the following important points of safety.
Put these important points of attention and suggestions nearby and convenient for reference in

Hand over this instruction manual to new user if you resell this machine.
The following four important points of safety and suggestions should be paid great attention:
If any abnormity occurs (such as the smell of
empyreuma), please cut off the power and
contact with the after-sale service personnel

Cautions
Air-conditioner should not be installed under

Improper fastening may cause accident once

Installation of the electric leak breaker
Shock accident may occur without installation
of the electric leak breaker.
Base of air-conditioner shall be checked for
damage after a long period of use.
If the base is damaged and without repair,
the unit may fall down thus cause injury
accident.
Air-conditioner shall be cleaned only when
the power is cut off in case creepage or other
injury accident occurs.
Once the power supply cord is damaged, you
shall contact with personnel of our
manufacturing factory or maintenance branch.
Only right standard of fuse shall be used.
It is strongly recommended not to use electrical
wire or any other material to take the place
of fuse. Otherwise faults or fire accidents may
occur.
It is forbidden to place any flammable spraying
liquid near the air-conditioner. Otherwise fire
accident may occur.

Please turn on the electrical power switch 12 hours ahead of the first operation. Please do not
cut off the power for a day and night's short time break. This is for the protection of the aircompressor.
Be careful not to build up the inlet and outlet. Otherwise the performance of air-conditioner
shall be reduced and protection set shall be into operation.

Cautions
Air-conditioner shall not be installed under circumstance with flammable gas.
Flammable gas near the air-conditioner may cause fire accidents or explosion accidents.
Installation site
Requirements
Not to install under circumstance with high frequency electromagnetic wave.
Faults are subject to occur when air-conditioner is used under circumstance with oil or steamed
gas, or in high salty costal area or hotspring area with sulfurized gas. Special maintenance shall
be needed for use under above conditions.
Wide space is needed between the inlet and outlet of the outdoor unit in case winding is blocked.
Not to install air-conditioner into places where strong wind directly blows to the inlet or outlet
of outdoor unit.
Snow-proof rack and shield shall be equipped in area with more snowfall. For details please contact
with our after-sale service personnel.
Operation noise
Please install air-conditioner in high-strength location in case the operation noise and vibration
spreads to other places.
Obstacles near the outlet of exterior machine shall strengthen the operation noise.
Please avoid installing air-conditioner into locations near blew out cooled and heated wind by other
outdoor unit or places where operation noise may effect neighbors.
Electrical wiring
Warnings
Grounding connection shall be equipped to ensure efficient grounding of the power. Improper
grounding or without grounding of air-conditioner may cause creepage accidents. Ground bus
shall not be connected to the gas pipes, water pipes, lightning rods or telephone lines. Improper
grounding may cause creepage and electric injury.
Cautions
Creepage breaker shall be installed where air-conditioner is installed. Creepage accident may
occur without installation of the creepage breaker. Creepage test shall be carried out after
completion of electrical installation.
Only right standard of fuse shall be used. It is strongly recommended not to use electrical wire
or any other material to take the place of fuse. Otherwise faults or fire accidents may occur.
Power shall be with rating voltage and special air-conditioner circuitry.

When air-conditioner is re-operated immediately after turning off, it shall take about 3 minutes for
the compressor to operate so as to protect the machine.
Time-lag function
Multi air-conditioner system driven by one outdoor unit has separate control of interior machines.
Cool producing and heat producing shall not be carried out simultaneously by such system. Whenever
cool producing and heat producing is carried out simultaneously by such system, the indoor cool
producing machine shall stop working and on call status shall be shown on the liquid crystal display
of remote controller. Indoor heat producing machine shall be under normal operation.
Operation of multi air-conditioner system driven by one outdoor unit
Once controller set functions like concentrating, locking, chose cool producing or heat producing,
it is impossible for other people to carry out functions beyond the enactment.
Whenever outdoor temperature rises, fan of outdoor unit shall operate in low speed.
Performance of heat producing
Defrosting shall be carried out automatically whenever the outdoor unit is frosting during heat
producing. This is for improve the heat producing effect. Meanwhile, water shall be drained from
outdoor unit.
Fan of indoor unit shall operate in low speed or stop operating and fan of outdoor unit shall stop
operating during defrosting.

Cooling
Please keep the air-conditioner under conditions in the following table during operation to ensure
proper use of it.

Whenever air-conditioner is operating
under circumstance with humidity above
80% for long term, defrosting shall be
formed and dropped on the machine
surface, mirage shall be blew off from
the outlet.

Protection unit shall come into operation under such conditions.
Protection set (high-pressure switch)
High-pressure switch is the automatic stop system for air-conditioner whenever air-conditioner is
running abnormally. When protection set operates, cool producing or heat producing shall stop. The
operating indicator light of remote controller is still on. When protection set operates, the "self-check"
indicator light of remote controller shall blink
Protection set shall operate whenever one of the following occurs:
During cool producing process:
Inlet or outlet of outdoor unit is blocked
Outlet of outdoor unit is blown directly by strong wind.
During heat producing process:
Dust accumulated on the air filter of indoor unit
Outlet of indoor unit is blocked
Power switch shall be turned off whenever the protection set operates and air-conditioner
shall be operated again only after defaults checked out.
Once power cut occurs during operation, all operation shall stop.
Power on again after power cut, the operating indicator light of remote controller shall blink.
Press "ON/OFF" switch for re-operation.

Heat producing is on the basis of absorbing outdoor heat and letting it indoor by heat pump. Therefore
heat-producing ability shall reduce once outdoor temperature drops.
Other heat-producing machine may be used together when outdoor temperature is low.

The voice of electromagnetic valve operation whenever
defrosting starts or ends.
Water-flowing sound during operating and after
operation stops. Operating sound shall get louder during
the first 2-3 minutes after operation starts. This is the
sound of refrigerant circulation and cooled water
drainage.
Noise may occur during operation due to heat expansion
and cool shrinkage of the heat exchanger.
Failed to reach rated cool

Check if cool producing and heat producing are set
simultaneously and if liquid crystal indicator of remote
controller is showing "on-call".

Power switch shall be turned off and operation be stopped if the following listed occurs. Please contact
with after-sale service personnel.
Key operation is not proper.
Fuse and breaker are burned out.
Eyewinker or water comes enter the electrical box.
All causes of protection unit are eliminated and air-conditioner fails to run again.
Other abnormity occurs.
