LEVITON LIMITED WARRANTY
Leviton warrants to the original consumer purchaser and not for the benefit of anyone else that products manufactured by Leviton under the
Leviton brand name (“Product”) will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the time periods indicated below, whichever is shorter: •
OmniPro II and Lumina Pro: three (3) years from installation or 42 months from manufacture date. • Omni LTe, Omni IIe, and Lumina: two (2) years from
installation or 30 months from manufacture date. • BitWise Controllers, Accessories: two (2) years from installation or 30 months from manufacture
date. • Lumina Gateway Controllers: two (2) years from installation or 30 months from manufacture date. • Thermostats, Accessories: two (2) years
from installation or 30 months from manufacture date. • Batteries: Rechargeable batteries in products are warranted for ninety (90) days from date
of purchase. Note: Primary (non-rechargeable) batteries shipped in products are not warranted. Products with Windows® Operating Systems: During
the warranty period, Leviton will restore corrupted operating systems to factory default at no charge, provided that the product has been used as
originally intended. Installation of non-Leviton software or modification of the operating system voids this warranty. Leviton’s obligation under this
Limited Warranty is limited to the repair or replacement, at Leviton’s option, of Product that fails due to defect in material or workmanship. Leviton
reserves the right to replace product under this Limited Warranty with new or remanufactured product. Leviton will not be responsible for labor
costs of removal or reinstallation of Product. The repaired or replaced product is then warranted under the terms of this Limited Warranty for the
remainder of the Limited Warranty time period or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer. This Limited Warranty does not cover PC-based software
products. Leviton is not responsible for conditions or applications beyond Leviton’s control. Leviton is not responsible for issues related to improper
installation, including failure to follow written Installation and operation instructions, normal wear and tear, catastrophe, fault or negligence of the

the network interface.
• Read and understand all instructions. Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the product.
• Do not use this product near water - e.g., near a tub, wash basin, kitchen sink or laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool.
• Never install communications wiring or components during a lightning storm.
• Never install communications components in wet locations unless the components are designed specifically for use in wet locations.
• Use caution when installing or modifying communications wiring or components.

INSTALLATION
For best results, avoid areas with excessive metal or electrical wiring.
1. Unpack the LUMINA Gateway. Package includes: LUMINA Gateway, power adapter, patch cable, and this document.
2. Plug one end of the supplied network patch cable into the jack labeled “ETHERNET/LAN” on the LUMINA Gateway, marked “C” in Figure 1. Plug the
opposite end of the network patch cable into a DHCP enabled network router, switch, or hub that is on the same local network as the
LUMINA Gateway.
3. Plug the barrel connector from the supplied 5VDC power adapter into the round receptacle labeled “5V” on the LUMINA Gateway, marked “D” in
Figure 1.
4. Plug the power adapter into an outlet.
OPERATION
1. When the LUMINA Gateway is powered on, it takes 15-30 seconds to cycle through the self test and acquire an IP Address from the network router.
When initially powering on, it is normal to see an immediate flicker of LED 1, followed approximately 10 seconds later by LED’s 1 & 3 on solid.
2. While the LUMINA Gateway is starting up, it takes 15 -30 seconds to become operational.
3. The LUMINA Gateway is operational when LED #1 begins to blink at a rate of once per second.
4. In normal operation, LED #3 blinks on LUMINA RF activity.
LED OPERATION
LED 1 – Blinks once per second under normal operation.
LED 2 –
Identifies connectivity (on solid) when connected to
Leviton® Cloud Services (LCS).
LED 3 – Blinks when LUMINA RF traffic occurs.
LED 4 – NOT CURRENTLY IN USE
RESETTING TO FACTORY DEFAULTS
If it is determined that a reset to factory defaults is required, take the following steps:
1. Power down the LUMINA Gateway.
2. Press and hold the button labeled “RESET” on the LUMINA Gateway, which is marked “B” in Figure 1.
3. Power on the LUMINA Gateway while continuing to hold the “RESET” button.
4. Wait for the LED indicators 1, 2, 3, and 4 to illuminate in sequence. NOTE: When initially powering, it is normal to see an immediate flicker of LED 1,
followed approximately 10 seconds later by LED’s 1 & 3 on solid. Continue to hold until all 4 LED’s light up in sequence.
5. Release the “RESET” button within 5 seconds after all LED indicators are illuminated.
6. All LED indicators will flash off, and then back on.
7. The Factory Reset is completed once LED indicator #1 begins blinking again.
