Remineralizer
Replacement Instructions
MODEL HF-RO3-RM for use with HF-RO
1. Remove the remineralizer from the packaging
2. Important: Make sure the system is not under pressure, the RO tank is
completely drained and the water supply line is shut off. You can drain the tank and release the pressure by shutting off the supply line & opening up the lter faucet until there is no longer any water coming out of the faucet.
3. Once the tank is completely drained and the RO system is no longer under
pressure, remove the 3/8 hose from the inlet and outlet of the remineralizer by pushing and holding down the white collar while pulling the hose out.
5. Insert the white 3/8 hose that is attached to the faucet into the outlet
connection of the new remineralizer by pressing the hose in until it completely stops
6. Connect the remaining hose end (which has the opposite end connected
to the RO manifold outlet labeled “Faucet”) to the inlet portion of the Remineralizer by pressing the hose in until it completely stops.
7. Shut off the lter faucet,
turn on the water supply and allow the RO tank to ll up completely (this may take around 2 hours).
8. Once the tank has
completely lled, inspect for leaks.
9. If there are no leaks,
ush the lter cartridges by opening up the RO faucet and allowing the water to run through the lters until there is no longer any pressure coming out of the RO faucet.
4. Discard the expired remineralizer cartridge.
10. Close the RO faucet, allow 2 hours for the pressure to build back up in the
system and your RO system is ready to use.
