Important Safety Instructions
- Before using this Rice Cooker, these instructions should be carefully read to ensure that the best results are obtained.
- Before connecting the appliance, check the voltage indicated on the appliance is correct corresponds to your home.
- The Rice Cooker must only be used as intended in accordance with the enclosed operating instructions.
- Do not use the Rice Cooker with damp or wet hands.
- Always make sure the Rice Cooker is securely in place before switched on.
- Do not place near hot gas or electric burners or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be taken when moving a Rice Cooker when it is hot.
- Do not use the Rice Cooker outdoors. The Rice Cooker has been designed for domestic, indoor use only.
- Remove the plug from the mains supply whenever the Rice Cooker is not in use, before cleaning or when changing accessories.
- Close supervision is necessary if the Rice Cooker is to be used by children.
- Use only original attachments recommended by the manufacturer.
- Surfaces of the Rice Cooker may become hot, avoid contact with bare skin. Use pot holders when removing covers.
- Do not use steel wool or any metallic scouring pad to clean the electrical pin terminals on the Rice Cooker.
- The inner pot must not be used on a glass or electric cooktop or on an open ame.
- Keep clear of the steam vent during cooking.
- Make sure the plastic paddle or the measuring cup is not in the inner pot when switched on and in use.
- Repairs to the Rice Cooker should only be performed by a qualied Electrician.
- Under no circumstances must the Rice Cooker, the mains cable or the mains plug be placed in or come into contact with water or other liquids.
- Adequate space should be provided for air circulation.
- Under no circumstances must the Rice Cooker come into contact with curtains, clothing, dish towels or other ammable materials during use.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a qualied person in order to avoid a hazard.

- Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- Sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working environments;
- Farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.

Operation
1. Measure out the rice.
Use the measuring cup to measure out the needed amount of rice. 1 cup: 0.18 litres, about 150g.
2. Wash the rice.
Use the other utensils to wash the rice clean. Do not wash the rice directly in the pot as this might abrade the coating or deform the base.
3. Add water.
Put the washed rice into the pot and distribute evenly in the pot, (uneven distribution will cause the rice to cook dierently) add moderate water according to the rice quality and one’s taste.

4. Place the pot into the housing.
Wipe the water, sticking stains away from the outside of the pot, check and clean the pot base and the heating plate, place the pot into the housing, rotate lightly to ensure a full contact between them, a click sound should be heard.
5. Close the lid.
Close the glass lid. Do not touch the lid during cooking as this will get hot.
6. Connect power.
Push down the cooking switch, the cooking indicator light will illuminate, signaling that cooking has begun.
7. Stew food.
When all the water in the rice has been dried away, the cooking button will switch o automatically, the cooking indicator light will go o and the keep warm indicator light will go on. Keep it on warm for 15 minutes to improve the rice’s colour, avour and taste.
Cleaning
- This Rice Cooker should be cleaned after every use.
- Unplug the Rice Cooker from the mains supply when not in use or before cleaning.
- NEVER immerse heating body in water. Allow the rice cooker to cool before cleaning.
- DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads or steel wool to clean this Rice Cooker.
- To clean the Base Unit, lightly wipe the exterior with a damp cloth or sponge.
- DO NOT IMMERSE THE BASE UNIT IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID!
- CAUTION: To prevent damage to the appliance do not use alkaline cleaning agents when cleaning, use a soft cloth and mild detergent.
