OPERATION
MAKING COFFEE:
ESPRESSO COFFEE
• The preparation of espresso coffee involves hot water being forced through fine grinded coffee
under high steam pressure. This imparts espresso coffee delicate aroma and strong taste. It is
preferable to use good roasted and fine grinded beans.
• Fill the detachable permanent filter to required level with grounded coffee and plane it with
included press board.
• Place filter cone on the filter holder.
• Insert the filter holder into position and turn it counterclockwise as far as possible.
• Pull water tank upwards and remove it accurately.
• Open the water tank lid and fill in clean water to required level.
ATTENTION! Do not pour water over maximum level mark.
• Fit water tank back hermetically.
• Check that the steam control regulator is closed.
• To ensure that turn steam control knob clockwise as far as possible.
• Push Power light button.
• The Power light and Steam indicator will go on.
• The Steam light will go on and off from time to time, indicating that the boiler thermostat is
keeping the water at the correct temperature.
• Replace the cups.
• When the water will reach required temperature, push Espresso light button (after 8-10 min.).
• Espresso light will go on.
3
• To stop the coffee flow, after cups are filled, push Espresso light button again, and Espresso light
will go off.
CAUTION: Whilst water is passing through the coffee under steam pressure, do not remove the
filter holder and lid.
CAPPUCCINO COFFEE
• A cappuccino is an espresso coffee with a froth topping made by heating milk.
• Fill the jug with the required amount of milk. The jug should be large enough to allow the milk to
expand to around treble its volume.
• Follow steps of MAKING ESPRESSO COFFEE.
• Place the steam nozzle in the milk.
• After the Steam indicator will go off, you may start to produce milk froth.
• Push Steam indicator button.
• Carefully turn steam control knob counterclockwise.
• When sufficient milk froth has been produced, push Steam indicator button again and turn steam
control knob clockwise as far as possible.
