Gurus Amps non solo non scende a compromessi
nella realizzazione dei suoi amplificatori,
scegliendo i migliori materiali e le migliori
tecnologie a disposizione, ma cura in modo
eccellente anche il design, la funzionalità e
l’immagine dei suoi prodotti.
Gurus 5015 si ispira al design di alcune icone
italiane che dal mondo delle corse hanno reso
unico il “fare italiano” coniugando arte e tecnica.
“Gurus non è un semplice marchio, è un
progetto, un'idea, una visione appunto. Non
possiamo pensare al futuro senza ricordarci
di quello che è stato il nostro passato”.
Riteniamo che la sfrenata corsa all'estremo oriente
tesa alla riduzione dei costi sia nella sua fase
discendente, che abbia già mostrato tutti i propri
limiti, economici, sociali, ambientali e soprattutto
funzionali.
Noi siamo nati come una piccola realtà che
costruiva ciò che di meglio la tecnologia poteva
offrire, cercando sempre i migliori materiali, i
migliori componenti, per realizzare qualcosa che
andasse a colmare quel gap che si formava fra ciò
che il mercato offriva e ciò che rappresentava le
reali esigenze dei musicisti.
E' lo stretto contatto con chi suona a tutti i livelli,
la dimensione di "custom shop" pronto a
raccogliere esigenze nuove, critiche, spunti, che ci
ha permesso negli anni di realizzare prodotti
innovativi.
Siamo stati i primi al mondo a realizzare una mini
testata a basso wattaggio che offrisse il sound dei
grandi ampli anche a bassi volumi, sfruttando la
purezza della tecnologia in classe A, in un
momento in cui tutti i nostri competitors
proponevano testate di grande potenza. Oggi tutti
i grandi produttori di amplificatori hanno una
testatina a basso wattaggio.
Siamo stati i primi al mondo a realizzare una
testata analogica completamente valvolare e
completamente programmabile.

Gurus 5015 is inspired by the design of some

nostre mile stones del passato per realizzare
qualcosa di moderno che ancora non avesse fatto

iChannel accoglie il segnale di un pre esterno o di
un multieffetto e lo combina con una sezione

severi metodi di controllo in grado di garantire un
utilizzo continuativo; d’altra parte se si dovessero
verificare problematiche tecniche non tentate di
riparare l’ampli da soli. All’interno sono presenti
punti pericolosi a correntie tensioni
elevate.L’assistenza al prodotte deve essere
eseguita da tecnici specializzati e autorizzati dalla
Gurus Amps. All’interno non vi sono parti per cui
la regolazione è a cura dell’utente.
Prima di contattare il servizio di assistenza tecnica
assicuratevi di aver effettuato correttamente tutti i
collegamenti e di aver letto questo manuale di

GURUS 5015 HEAD is an Italian hand-built tube
guitar amplifier undergoing to strict control
methods, able to guarantee a lifetime use; in case
of tecnichal problems, do not try to repair the
amp by yourself. Inside the equipment there are
dangerous areas with hi-current and hi-voltage.
The product servicing must be carried out by
specializad technicians and authorized by Gurus
Amps.
Inside the equipment there are no parts for which
the adjustment is at user’s care.
Be sure to have correctly carried out all the
connections and to have read this simple and swift
instruction manual, before contacting the technical
service.

About Tubes
OUTPUT TUBE è lo stadio finale di potenza.
Nell’alloggiamento è possibile intercambiare
numerosi tipi di valvole (pentodi di potenza) con
zoccolatura octal.
I sintomi più comuni di valvole esaurite possono
essere: rumore di fondo eccessivo, microfonicità
elevata, perdita di potenza, riduzione delle tonalità
acute, bassi impastati e variazioni incontrollate del
volume d’uscita.

Spegnere l’amplificatore e scollegarlo
dalla rete elettrica
• Lasci are raffreddare le valvo le per
almeno 10 minuti
• Rimuovere le adeguate viti di fissaggio
chassis
• Estrarre le valvole preamplificatrici
agendo con lieve forza contraria.
Attenzione al momento della sostituzione
nell’ inserire correttamente la valvola
sullo zoccolo (noval)
• Estrarre la valvola finale agendo con lieve
forza contraria. Attenzione al momento
della sostituzione nell’ inserire
correttamente la valvola sullo zoccolo
(octal). Una tacca chiamata chiave
permette l’ inserimento solo nella
posizione corretta.
• Non fare mai pressione eccessiva per
reinserire le valvole. Accertarsi sempre
della corretta posizione dei piedini
Le operazioni di sostituzioni delle valvole devono
essere effettuate da personale tecnico qualificato
La durata delle valvole è di circa 3000 ore.
Attenzione la stima è puramente indicativa in
quanto determinata principalmente dalla qualità
produttiva dei tubi termoionici.
OUTPUT TUBE is the output power stage.
It Is possible to replace to many different kind of
tubes (Pentode Power) with octal base.
The most common signs of run-down tubes could
be: excessive noise, hi microphonicity, power loss,
loss of high tones, pasted low tones and
uncontrolled changes of the output volume.
• Turn-off the amplifier and disconnect
from the electric network
• Let the tubes cool down for at least 10
minutes.
• Remove the appropriate fixing screws of
the chassis
• Remove the preamp valve with mild
force, rotating and pulling slightly upward.
Keep attention when replacing the valve
insert properly in the socket (noval)
• Remove the valve end with mild force,
rotating and pulling slightly upward.. Be
careful when inserting the replacement
valve correctly on the base (octal). A
notch called key allows to fit only in the
correct position.
• Do not force to replace the valves.
Always make sure of the correct position
of pins.
The replacment of tubes must be performed by
qualified service personnel
Tubes Live is estimated to 3000 hours.

dedicati ai suoni di chitarra utilizzabili con:
smartphone, tablet, laptop.
n.b.: le prese di ingresso e uscita per il
collegamenti iCh sono del tipo Jack mono.
Qualora si desiderasse ricevere dall’unità esterna
l’out L/R (stereo) è necessario dotarsi di un cavo
dedicato dove internamente vengono sommati i
due segnali all’interno di un singolo Jack di tipo
“mono”.

presentano caratteristiche idonee per
essere sostituite in alternativa a quelle
segnalate.
Consultare le caratteristiche tecniche
dichiarate dal produttore della valvola
desiderata verificando che i valori
segnalati risultino corretti per questo tipo
di stadio finale.
La serie 6V6, EL84, non possono
essere installate.

Si tratta di un controllo passivo che
modifica la curva di EQ agendo sull’intera
gamma di frequenze, è infatti semplice
notare come agendo sulla quantità di
alte, contemporaneamente si abbia uno
spostamento nello shape delle medie ed un
intervento sensibile ma molto lineare sulle
basse, che risultano sempre a fuoco,
rotonde e corpose.
I vantaggi di questo tipo di Controllo, sono
di unire in un praticissimo ed unico
potenziometro un vero filtro multibanda,
capace di rispondere alle richieste che il
nostro orecchio ci suggerisce, senza
discostarci mai troppo dalle sonorità piu’
corrette che l’ampli è in grado di produrre.

of purchase with the exception of moving
mechanical parts such as foot switches, speakers
and handles which have a 1 year warranty. The
valves, lights and cables are guaranteed for 3
months from the date of purchase.
