SAFETY NOTICE

• Do not twist or pull on the cabl e.

• Do not spill any liquid on the cable and/or connectors.

• In the event of malfunction during use due to electrostatic emission, please exit the game and

unplug the devi ce from your com puter or your console. Res ume normal gam e play by plug ging the
device back in a nd restarting the game.

• Do not touch or move the mini-sticks when connecting your gamepad (in order to avoid disrupting
the calibration pr ocess).

BATTERY INSTALLATION

Install three 1.5V b atteries (LR03 / AAA type) in the battery com partment on the back of the gamepad

(14).

INSTALLATION ON PC
System requirem ents: PC (Windows 98 SE, Me, 2000 or XP) equipped with USB port.

DRIVER INSTALLATION

The CD-ROM supplie d with this product allows you to install your devi ce’s Force Feedback drivers.

1. Insert the installation CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. Follow the on-screen instructions to install
the Force Feedback drivers. Once installation i s complete, click Finish and restart your computer.

2. Onc e your comput er has restart ed, connect the USB connector (10) to one of your com puter’s USB
ports, and then tur n on your gamepa d using the swi tch (13). Windows 98/Me/2000/XP will
automatically det ect the new device. (If you are connecti ng a USB device for the first time, Win dows
may ask you to inser t the Windows CD-R OM during the inst allation proced ure in order to inst all the
required system files.)

3. Driver installation:

Windows 98

Windows Me/2000/XP

: the Add New Hardware Wizard will search for the appropriate drivers. Click Next.

Follow the on-scr een instructions to complet e the installation.

: the drivers are install ed automatically.

4. Select Start/All P rograms/Thrustmaster/Force Feedback driver/Control P anel.

The Game Controllers dialog box displays the gam epad’s name with OK status.

5. In the Control Panel, click Properties to c onfigure your gamepad:

• Test device: all ows you to test and v iew the gamepad’ s buttons, D-pad a nd axes for the 2 mi ni-

sticks.

• Test forces: all ows you to test 8 vibration effects and configure vibrati on effect settings.

You are now rea dy to play!

INSTALLATION ON PS2

1. Co nnect the receiver’s PS2 con nector (9) to a game port on your console.

2. Turn on your gamepad using th e switch (13).

3. Turn on your co nsole and launch the game.
