Einleitung

Damit Sie an Ihrem neuen Gerät möglichst lange Freude haben, bitten wir Sie, die Betriebsanweisung und die beiliegenden Sicherheitshinweise sorgfältig durchzulesen. Ferner wird empfohlen, die Gebrauchsanweisung für den Fall aufzubewahren, dass Sie sich die Funktionen des Artikels später nochmals ins Gedächtnis rufen möchten. Im Rahmen ständiger Produktweiterentwicklung behalten wir uns vor zur Verbesserung technische Änderungen umzusetzen.

Bei diesem Dokument handelt es sich um die Originalbetriebsanweisung.

Nehmen Sie das Gerät aus der Transportverpackung und prüfen Sie die Vollständigkeit und das Vorhandensein folgender Teile:

Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

Die Bedienungsanleitung muss vor der ersten Anwendung des Gerätes ganz durchgelesen werden. Falls über den Anschluss und die Bedienung des Gerätes Zweifel entstehen sollten, wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller (Service-Abteilung).

UM EINEN HOHEN GRAD AN SICHERHEIT ZU GARANTIEREN, BEACHTEN SIE AUFMERKSAM FOLGENDE HINWEISE:

Um diese Heckenschere sicher betreiben zu können, sind sämtliche Anweisungen und Informationen zu Sicherheit, Zusammenbau und Betrieb in der Bedienungsanleitung genau zu befolgen. Alle Personen, die diese Maschine bedienen oder warten, müssen die Bedienungsanleitung kennen und über potentielle Gefahren informiert sein. Kindern sowie kranken und gebrechlichen Personen ist der Zugang zu verwehren. Kinder sind sorgfältig zu beaufsichtigen, wenn sie sich im Bereich von Maschinen aufhalten. Beachten Sie die regionalen und lokalen Unfallverhütungsvorschriften, die bei Ihnen gelten. Dasselbe gilt für alle Bestimmungen zu Arbeitsschutz und Gesundheit am Arbeitsplatz.

Der Hersteller kann nicht haftbar gemacht werden, wenn seine Maschinen unerlaubterweise verändert werden und wenn aus solchen Veränderungen Schäden an Personen oder Gegenständen entstehen.

ACHTUNG!

• Halten Sie den Arbeitsbereich sauber und aufgeräumt. Unordentliche Arbeitsplätze und

Werkbänke erhöhen die Gefahr von Unfällen und Verletzungen.

• Achten Sie auf die Umgebungsbedingungen, unter denen Sie arbeiten. Verwenden Sie keine

Elektrowerkzeuge und Werkzeugmaschinen in feuchter oder nasser Umgebung. Sorgen Sie für ausreichend Beleuchtung. Setzen Sie elektrische Werkzeuge nicht dem Regen oder hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit aus. Schalten Sie elektrische Werkzeuge nicht in einer Umgebung mit leicht entflammbaren Flüssigkeiten oder Gasen ein.

• Schützen Sie sich vor elektrischem Schlag. Vermeiden Sie Körperberührung mit geerdeten Teilen, zum Beispiel Rohren, Heizkörpern, Herden, Kühlschränken.

• Lassen Sie keine Fremden an die Maschine. Besucher und Zuschauer, vor allem Kinder sowie kranke und gebrechliche Personen, sollten vom Arbeitsplatz fern gehalten werden.

• Sorgen Sie für die sichere Aufbewahrung von Werkzeugen. Werkzeuge, die nicht gebraucht werden,

müssen an einem trockenen, möglichst hoch gelegenen Platz aufbewahrt oder unzugänglich verwahrt werden.

• Verwenden Sie für jede Arbeit immer das richtige Werkzeug. Verwenden Sie z.B. keine Kleinwerkzeuge

oder Zubehör für Arbeiten, die eigentlich mit schwerem Werkzeug verrichtet werden müssen. Verwenden Sie Werkzeuge ausschließlich für die Zwecke, für die sie gebaut wurden. Überlasten Sie das Gerät nicht!

• Zweckentfremden Sie nicht das Kabel Tragen Sie das Werkzeug nicht am Kabel, und benützen Sie es nicht, um den Stecker aus der Steckdose zu ziehen. Schützen Sie das Kabel vor Hitze, Öl und scharfen Kanten.

• Verlängerungskabel Im Freien Verwenden Sie im Freien nur dafür zugelassene und entsprechend gekennzeichnete Verlängerungskabel.

• Verhindern Sie unbeabsichtigtes Einschalten. Achten Sie immer darauf, dass das Werkzeug am Geräteschalter ausgeschaltet ist, bevor Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose stecken.

• Achten Sie auf angemessene Kleidung. Die Kleidung muss zweckmäßig sein und darf Sie beim Arbeiten nicht behindern.

• Verwenden Sie persönliche Schutzausrüstungen. Tragen Sie Sicherheitsschuhe mit Stahlkappen/Stahlsohlen und griffiger Sohle.

• Tragen Sie eine Schutzbrille. Gegenstände können entgegengeschleudert werden.

• Tragen Sie Gehörschutz. Tragen Sie persönlichen Schallschutz z.B. Gehörschutzstöpsel.

• Handschutz. Tragen Sie feste Handschuhe. Handschuhe aus Leder bieten einen guten Schutz.

• Bleiben Sie immer aufmerksam. Achten Sie auf

das, was Sie tun. Setzen Sie Ihren gesunden Menschenverstand ein. Verwenden Sie keine Motorwerkzeuge, wenn Sie müde sind. Unter dem Einfluss von Alkohol, Drogen oder Medikamenten, die das Reaktionsvermögen beeinträchtigen darf mit dem Gerät nicht gearbeitet werden.

• Achten Sie auf beschädigte Teile. Untersuchen Sie

das Werkzeug, bevor Sie es benutzen. Sind einzelne Teile beschädigt? Fragen Sie sich bei leichten Beschädigungen ernsthaft, ob das Werkzeug trotzdem einwandfrei und sicher funktionieren wird.

• Verwenden Sie nur zugelassene Teile. Verwenden

Sie bei Wartung und Reparatur nur identische Ersatzteile. Wenden Sie sich für Ersatzteile an ein zugelassenes Service Center. Achten Sie auf die korrekte Ausrichtung und Einstellung von beweglichen Teilen. Greifen die Teile richtig ineinander? Sind Teile beschädigt? Ist alles korrekt installiert? Stimmen alle sonstigen Voraussetzungen für die einwandfreie Funktion? Beschädigte Schutzvorrichtungen etc. müssen von autorisierten Personen ordnungsgemäß repariert oder ausgewechselt werden, sofern nicht in der Bedienungsanleitung ausdrücklich anders erläutert. Defekte Schalter müssen von einer autorisierten Stelle ausgewechselt werden. Bei anfallenden Reparaturen wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihr örtliches Service Center.

• Warnung! Die Verwendung von Zubehör und

Anbauteilen, die nicht ausdrücklich in dieser Bedienungsanleitung empfohlen werden, kann die Gefährdung von Personen und Objekten nach sich ziehen.

• Überdehnen Sie nicht Ihren Standbereich

Vermeiden Sie abnormale Körperhaltung. Sorgen Sie für sicheren Stand, und halten Sie jederzeit das Gleichgewicht.

Das Werkzeug darf nur für den vorgesehenen Verwendungszweck benutzt werden. Jede Zweckentfremdung wird als unsachgemäße Verwendung betrachtet. Für Sach- und Personenschäden, die aus einer solchen, unsachgemäßen Verwendung resultieren, ist allein der Benutzer verantwortlich, auf keinen Fall der Hersteller.

Gerätespezifische Sicherheitshinweise

Betreiben Sie das Gerät grundsätzlich nur an

einem Stromanschluss mit Fehlerstromschalter (FI)!

Schützen Sie jegliche Kabel vor Hitze, Öl und scharfen Kanten.

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker bei Reparaturen und Wartungsarbeiten und wenn Sie die Maschine nicht benutzen. Arbeiten an elektrischen Einrichtungen dürfen nur von einer Elektrofachkraft vorgenommen werden. Es dürfen nur Originalteile verwendet werden.

Achten Sie darauf was Sie tun. Gehen Sie mit Vernunft an die Arbeit.

Verwenden Sie die Maschine nur in geeigneter Umgebung und setzen Sie die Maschine keiner Nässe oder Feuchtigkeit aus. Sorgen Sie beim Arbeiten stets für gute Beleuchtung.

Schalten Sie die Maschine bei gefährlichen Situationen oder technischen Störungen sofort aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.

Es dürfen nur vom Hersteller freigegebene Einsatzwerkzeuge und Zubehör verwendet werden. Die

Verwendung von nicht freigegebenen Teilen birgt eine erhebliche Verletzungsgefahr.

Kinder oder Personen, denen es an Wissen oder Erfahrung im Umgang mit dem Gerät mangelt, oder die in ihren körperlichen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten eingeschränkt sind, dürfen das Gerät nicht ohne Aufsicht oder Anleitung durch eine für Ihre Sicherheit verantwortliche Person benutzen.

Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, damit sie nicht

mit dem Gerät spielen.

Niemals mit feuchten Händen berühren

Nicht in feuchter Umgebung arbeiten. Überlasten Sie Ihr Gerät nicht. Arbeiten Sie immer im angegebenen Leistungsbereich.

Richten Sie das Schwert niemals auf Ihren Körper oder den von anderen Personen oder Tieren.

Halten Sie das Gerät mit einer Hand an dem Handgriff mit Schalttaste (Abb. 1/6) und mit der anderen Hand an dem Führungsgriff (Abb. 1/4).

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Die Heckenschere ist ausschließlich zum Schneiden von Hecken, Büschen und Sträuchern, unter Berücksichtung aller technischen Daten und Sicherheitshinweise, geeignet. Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultierende Schäden oder Verletzungen haftet der Hersteller nicht. Bitte beachten Sie, dass unsere Geräte bestimmungsgemäß nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz konstruiert sind.

Sicherheitshinweise für Erstinbetriebnahme

Achten Sie stets auf den festen Sitz der Verschraubungen und verwenden Sie ausschließlich die benannten Teile aus dem Lieferumfang.

Äste mit einem Durchmesser von größer als 14

mm müssen zuvor mit einer Astschere herausgeschnitten werden, um eine Beschädigung des Gerätes zu vermeiden.

Montage (Abb. 2+3)

Handschutz:

Montieren Sie den Handschutz, wie in Abbildung 2 gezeigt mit den 2 mitgelieferten Schrauben fest und vergewissern Sie sich, dass er fest sitzt.

Benutzen Sie das Gerät nie ohne den Handschutz.

Kabelzugentlastung:

Um zu vermeiden, dass versehentlich das Verbindungskabel aus der Schalter/Stecker-Kombination gezogen wird, vergewissern Sie sich bitte, dass das Verbindungskabel richtig an der Zugentlastung befestigt ist, wie in Abbildung 3 gezeigt.

Bedienung (Abb. 1+4+5+6)

Vor der Benutzung, bei gezogenem Netzstecker,

entfernen Sie den Messerschutz (Abb. 1/1).

Anschalten:

Schließen Sie den Netzstecker an. Die Güde Heckenschere ist mit einer ZweihandSicherheitsschaltung ausgestattet. Sie arbeitet nur, wenn Sie mit einer Hand die Schalttaste (Abb. 1/5) am

Führungsgriff (Abb. 1/4) und mit der anderen Hand den

Schalter am Handgriff.(Abb. 1/6) drücken.

Benutzung:

Beginnen Sie mit dem Schneiden immer in kürzester Entfernung zum Stromanschluss, sodass Sie das Kabel immer hinter sich haben.

Ein trapezförmiger Schnitt entspricht dem natürlichen Pflanzen-Wachstum und lässt Hecken optimal gedeihen.

• Zuerst die Seitenflächen von unten nach oben schneiden. Oberseite je nach Geschmack gerade, dachförmig oder rund schneiden.

• Der Sicherheitsmesserbalken verfügt über seitlich gerundete und versetzt angeordnete Schneidezähne, um Verletzungsgefahren zu verringern. Der zusätzliche Anstoßschutz verhindert unangenehme Rückschläge beim Auftreffen auf Wände, Zäune usw.

• Bei Blockierung des Messers durch feste Gegenstände Gerät sofort ausschalten, Netzstecker ziehen und erst dann den Gegenstand entfernen.

• Vorsicht: Metallgegenstände, wie Drahtzäune, Pflanzenstützen können zu Schäden am Messerbalken führen.

• Die beste Schneidleistung erreichen Sie, wenn die Heckenschere so geführt wird, dass die Messerzähne in einem Winkel von ca. 15° zur Hecke gerichtet sind. (Abb. 4)

• Um eine gleichmäßige Heckenhöhe zu erreichen, wird das Spannen eines Fadens als Richtschnur entlang der Heckenkante empfohlen. Die überstehenden Zweige werden abgeschnitten. (Abb. 5)

• Die Seitenflächen einer Hecke werden mit bogenförmigen Bewegungen von unten nach oben geschnitten. (Abb. 6)

Sicherheitshinweise für die Bedienung

Siehe Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise, Gerätespezifische Sicherheitshinweise, Sicherheitshinweise bei Erstinbetriebnahme und Sicherheitshinweise für Inspektion und Wartung.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät erst nachdem Sie die

Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam gelesen haben.

• Verhalten Sie sich verantwortungsvoll gegenüber

anderen Personen.

Schritt-für-Schritt -Anleitung

• Suchen Sie, bevor Sie mit der Heckenschere arbeiten das Gestrüpp, oder die zu schneidende Hecke nach Fremdkörpern ab.

• Legen Sie die entsprechende Schutzkleidung an.

• Starten Sie das Gerät wie im Kapitel „Bedienung“

beschrieben.

• Beachten Sie alle relevanten Sicherheitshinweise und gehen Sie wie im Kapitel Vorgehensweise vor.

• Reinigen Sie das Gerät nach jeder Benutzung und kontrollieren Sie die Schneideeinrichtung auf Beschädigungen.

Transport und Lagerung

• Beim Transport ist stets darauf zu achten, dass das

Gerät von der Stromversorgung getrennt ist.

• Führen Sie vor dem Einlagern des Gerätes eine

gründliche Reinigung durch.

• Verstauen Sie das Gerät an einem sauberen,

trockenen Ort.

Restgefahren und Schutzmaßnahmen

Mechanische Restgefahren Schneiden, Abschneiden Die gegenläufige Messer können zu schweren Schnittverletzungen bzw. Abtrennen von Körperteilen führen.

Niemals bei laufendem Gerät in den Messerbalken fassen! Schutzhandschuhe tragen!

Erfassen, Aufwickeln Die gegenläufige Messer können das Anschlusskabel erfassen und aufwickeln bzw. durchtrennen.

Während der Arbeit immer genügend Abstand zum Kabel am Boden halten und nicht zerschneiden.

Elektrische Restgefahren Direkter elektrischer Kontakt Das Kabel könnte von den Messern durchtrennt werden.

Grundsätzlich nur an einem Stromanschluss mit (FI) arbeiten.

Sonstige Gefährdungen Ausgleiten, Stolpern oder Fall von Personen Beim Rückwärtslaufen könnten Sie stolpern und das Gerät könnte ihre Füße erfassen.

Bewegen Sie das Gerät grundsätzlich nur vorwärts.

Gewährleistung

Die Gewährleistung erstreckt sich ausschließlich auf Mängel, die auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehler zurückzuführen sind. Bei Geltendmachung eines Mangels im Sinne der Gewährleistung ist der original Kaufbeleg mit Verkaufdatum beizufügen. Von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen sind unsachgemäße Anwendungen, wie z. B. Überlastung des Gerätes, Gewaltanwendung, Beschädigungen durch Fremdeinwirkung oder durch Fremdkörper. Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchs- und Aufbauanleitung und normaler Verschleiß sind ebenfalls von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.

Verhalten im Notfall

Für einen eventuell eintretenden Unfall sollte immer ein Verbandskasten nach DIN 13164 am Arbeitsplatz griffbereit vorhanden sein. Dem Verbandskasten entnommenes Material ist sofort wieder aufzufüllen.

Wenn Sie Hilfe anfordern, machen Sie folgende Angaben:

Leiten Sie die der Verletzung entsprechend notwendigen Erste- Hilfe-Maßnahmen ein und fordern Sie schnellst möglich qualifizierte ärztliche Hilfe an. Bewahren Sie den Verletzten vor weiteren Schädigungen und stellen Sie diesen ruhig.

Entsorgung

Die Entsorgungshinweise ergeben sich aus den Piktogrammen die auf dem Gerät bzw. der Verpackung aufgebracht sind. Eine Beschreibung der einzelnen Bedeutungen finden Sie im Kapitel „Kennzeichnung“.

Entsorgung der Transportverpackung Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind in der Regel nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recycelbar. Das Rückführen der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Verpackungsteile (z.B. Folien, Styropor) können für Kinder gefährlich sein. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr! Bewahren Sie Verpackungsteile außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf und entsorgen Sie sie so schnell wie möglich.

Anforderungen an den Bediener

Der Bediener muss vor Gebrauch des Gerätes aufmerksam die Bedienungsanleitung gelesen haben.

Qualifikation

Außer einer ausführlichen Einweisung durch eine sachkundige Person ist keine spezielle Qualifikation für den Gebrauch des Gerätes notwendig.

Mindestalter

Das Gerät darf nur von Personen betrieben werden, die das

18. Lebensjahr vollendet haben und mit dem Umgang und

der Wirkungsweise vertraut sind. Jugendlichen zwischen 16 und 18 Jahren ist das Arbeiten nur unter Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen gestattet. Eine Ausnahme stellt die Benutzung als Jugendlicher dar, wenn die Benutzung im Zuge einer Berufsausbildung zur Erreichung der Fertigkeit unter Aufsicht eines Ausbilders erfolgt.

Schulung

Die Benutzung des Gerätes bedarf lediglich einer entsprechenden Unterweisung. Eine spezielle Schulung ist nicht notwendig.

Inspektions- und Wartungsplan (Abb. 7)

In order to operate the hedge trimmer safely, please follow all instructions and information related to safety, assembly, and operation contained in this user guide. Operators and maintenance staff must be thoroughly informed about the trimmer as well as all related risks and hazards. Keep children as well as elderly and handicapped people away from the trimmer. Children must be supervised thoroughly if present in the trimmer vicinity. Keep applicable regional and local directives. The same applies to all provisions related to occupational health and safety.

The manufacturer does not assume any responsibility for change to the trimmers in a manner not contemplated herein and any personal or material damage resulting therefrom.

Attention!

• Keep the workplace clean and tidy. Mess on

workplace and work table increases danger of accidents and incidents.

• Pay attention to the environmental conditions where you work. Do not expose the power tools and

machining tools to rain and do not use the machine in moist or wet environment. Provide good lighting. Do not expose the power tools to rain or high air humidity. Do not turn the power tools close to flammable liquids or gases

• Protect against electric shock hazard! Avoid bodily contact with grounded components, e.g. tubes, heaters, ovens and fridges.

• Do not allow foreigners to use the trimmer. Keep visitors and bystanders, particularly children and elderly or ill people away from your workplace at sufficient distance.

• Provide safe storage for the trimmers. Store unused trimmers to dry and high place or lock so the trimmers are not accessible to other person.

• Always use correct trimmer for a specific job. Do not use e.g. small power tools or accessories for works that need to be performed with high performance tools. Do not use the trimmer for purposes other than specified. Do not overload your trimmer!

• Do not use the cable for purposes other than specified!

Do not use the cable as a handle for carrying and do not pull the trimmer from socket by the cable. Protect the cable against excessive temperature, oil and sharp edges.

• Extension cables for outdoor use For outdoor use, permitted extension cables with appropriate labelling may be used only.

• Avoid unintentional powering the tool on. Before plugging the plug to the socket, make sure the trimmer is turned off on the trimmer switch.

• Wear suitable clothes. The clothes must be fit for the purpose and comfortable for you.

• Use personal protective equipment. Wear safety shoes with steel tips and anti-slip sole.

• Always wear goggles. You may be hit by flying off things.

• Wear ear protection. Wear ear protection, e.g. ear plugs.

• Hand protection. Wear solid gloves. Leather gloves offer a good protection.

• Always be attentive. Be aware of what you are doing. Use common sense during work. Do not use

the motor trimmer if you are tired. Do not work with the trimmer if you are under influence of alcohol, drugs or medicines that attenuate your responsiveness.

• Pay attention to damaged components. Inspect the trimmer before use. Are there any components damaged? In cas wh

ether the trimmer will work safely and perfectly.

explicitly recommended in this user guide may result in damage to persons and things.

• Do not incline from your position. Avoid abnormal

body posture! Make sure you are standing safely and keep your balance.

The trimmer may be used only for the intended purpose. Each deviation from the purpose is regarded as unauthorized use. The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for material and personal damage due to unauthorized use and the same rests on the user.

Plug the trimmer only to a socket fitted with a

switch against stray current (FI)!

Protect all cables against excessive temperature, oil and sharp edges.

Unplug the trimmer during repairs and maintenance

and if the trimmer is not used.

Be aware of what you are doing. Approach your work

Use the trimmer in suitable environment and avoid

Always provide good lighting during work.

In case of dangerous situation or technical failure turn

the trimmer off immediately and unplug from socket.

Only tools and accessories approved by the manufacturer may be used. Use of unproved components may result in accident.

Children and persons who lack experience and knowledge for use of the trimmer or of which physical, sensory and mental capabilities are limited may not use the trimmer without supervision or guidance by a safety engineer.

Children must be under adult supervision to avoid

using the tool as a toy.

Do never touch the tool with wet hands.

Do not work in wet environment.

Do not overload your trimmer! Operate the trimmer within specified working capacity.

Do never direct the blade strip to your body or other persons or animals.

Hold the trimmer on the switch handle (fig. 1/6) with one hand and on the guiding handle (fig. 1/4) with the other hand.

Application according to intended use

This hedge trimmer is suitable exclusively for trimming of hedges, bushes and ornamental shrubs while observing all technical data and safety instructions. Any other use contradicts to the intended use. Manufacturer is not responsible for subsequent damage and injuries. Please note the trimmer is intended for domestic use only.

Safety instructions for the first commissioning

Always pay attention to correct tightening of all bolt joints and use genuine spare parts supplied only!

Branches of diameter over 14 mm must be first

cut by branch scissors in order to avoid damage to the trimmer.

Assembly (fig. 2+3)

Hand protection:

Install the hand protection according to figure 2 with two bolts supplied and make sure they are tight enough.

Do never use the trimmer without hand protection.

Cable tension reliever:

In order to avoid unintentional pulling of the connection cable out of the switch/socket combination, make sure the connection cable is attached correctly to the cable tension reliever - see fig. 3.

Service (Fig. 1+4+5+6)

Remove the blade cover before use and when the

plug is extended (fig. 1/1).

Turning on:

Insert the plug to the mains supply socket. The Güde hedge trimmer is fitted with two-hand safety switch. The hedge trimmer operates only when the switch (fig. 1/5) on the guiding handle (fig. 1/4) is switched by one hand and the other hand switches the switch on the handle (fig. 1/6).

Use:

Start trimming always as closest as possible to power supply source in order to always have power supply behind you.

Trapezoid trimming conforms to natural growing of plants and allows the hedge to prosper optimally.

• First trim the sides from below. Trim the upper side either straight, roof-shaped or rounded as you like it.

• The safety blade strip has alternatively arranged cutters rounded on their sides to reduce injury hazard. Extra shock protection avoids unpleasant rebounds from walls, fences etc.

• If the blade clogs, turn the trimmer off immediately, disconnect from the power supply and then remove the clogged piece.

• Attention: Metal things, e.g. mesh wires, plant supports etc. may result in damage to the blade strip.

• The best cutting performance is achieved if you trim the hedge so that the blade form 15° angle with the hedge. (fig. 4)

• In order to achieve equal hedge height, we recommend install a guiding cord along the hedge. Cut any protruding branches. (fig. 5)

• Trim the side areas of the hedge by rounded movements from below. (fig. 6)

Step by step guidance

• Remove foreign things from the trimmed area before

trimming of the hedge or bushes.

• Wear suitable protective clothes.

• Turn the trimmer on as specified in "Operation"

chapter.

• Keep all relevant safety instructions and follow

instructions in chapter Procedure.

• After every use, clean the trimmer and check the

trimming section with respect to defects.

Transport and storing

• The trimmer must be continuously disconnected

during transport.

• Clean the trimmer thoroughly before use.

• Store the trimmer on a dry place only.

Residual risks and protective measures

Tenez l’appareil d’une main par la poignée avec interrupteur (fig. 1/6) et de l’autre main par la poignée de guidage (fig. 1/4).

Utilisation en conformité avec la destination

Ce taille-haies convient exclusivement à la taille de haies et arbustes en respectant les caractéristiques techniques et les consignes de sécurité. Toute autre utilisation est considérée comme contraire à la destination. Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité pour des dommages consécutifs à une telle utilisation. Notez que nos appareils ne sont pas conçus pour l’utilisation industrielle.

Consignes de sécurité relatives à la mise en service

Veillez toujours à ce que les vis soient bien serrées et utilisez uniquement les pièces incluses au le colis.

En ce qui concerne les branches avec diamètre

supérieur à 14 mm, coupez-les d’abord avec une cisaille afin d’éviter d’endommager l’appareil.

Montage (fig. 2+3)

Protection des mains :

Montez la protection des mains selon l’image 2 à l’aide de 2 vis incluses au colis et vérifiez si elles sont bien serrées.

N’utilisez jamais l’appareil sans la protection des

mains.

Allègement du câble en traction :

Afin d’éviter le retrait accidentel du câble de la combinaison interrupteur/fiche, veillez à ce que le câble soit bien fixé au dispositif d’allègement du câble en traction - voir fig. 3.

Manipulation (fig. 1+4+5+6)

Avant l’utilisation, fiche retirée, retirez le fourreau

(fig. 1/1).

Mise en marche :

Branchez la fiche au secteur. Le taille-haies Güde est équipé d’un interrupteur de sécurité à deux mains. Il fonctionne à condition d’appuyer d’une main sur l’interrupteur (fig. 1/5) sur la poignée de guidage (fig. 1/4) et de l’autre sur l’interrupteur sur la poignée (fig. 1/6).

Utilisation :

Commencez toujours à tailler au plus près de la source de courant, de façon à ce que le câble soit toujours derrière vous.

La coupe de forme trapézoïdale correspond à la pousse

naturelle des végétaux et permet aux haies de pousser de façon optimale.

• Taillez d’abord les surfaces latérales du bas vers le haut. Taillez le côté supérieur selon votre goût, horizontalement, en forme de toit ou de rond.

• Les dents de la lame de sécurité sont disposées de façon alternative, leurs côtés sont courbés, ce qui réduit le risque d’accident. La protection supplémentaire contre le choc permet d’éviter des rebonds désagréables en cas de choc contre un mur, une clôture, etc.

• En cas de blocage de la lame, arrêtez immédiatement l’appareil, débranchez-le de la source de courant et seulement après retirez l’objet coincé.

• Attention : Les objets métalliques, tels que grillages, supports pour fleurs, etc., peuvent endommager la lame.

• Vous obtiendrez le meilleur rendement de coupe en dirigeant le taille-haies sur la haie de façon à ce que l’angle entre les dents des lames et la haie soit d’environ 15° (fig. 4).

• Afin d’obtenir une hauteur uniforme de la haie, nous vous recommandons de placer un fil de guidage le long de la haie. Coupez les branches qui dépassent (fig. 5).

• Les surfaces latérales de la haie doivent être coupées par mouvements arqués du bas vers le haut (fig. 6).

nejsou výslovně doporučeny v tomto návodu k obsluze, může vést k ohrožení osob a objektů.

• Nenaklánějte se ze svého stanoviště.

Vyhněte se abnormálnímu držení těla. Zajistěte si bezpečný postoj a udržujte neustále rovnováhu.

Děti a osoby, kterým chybí znalosti a zkušenosti v zacházení s přístrojem nebo které jsou omezeny svými tělesnými, smyslovými a duševními schopnostmi, nesmí přístroj používat bez dohledu či vedení bezpečnostního technika.

Děti musí být hlídány, aby si s přístrojem nehrály.

Tyto nůžky na živý plot jsou vhodné výhradně ke stříhání živých plotů, křoví a ozdobných keřů, při dodržení všech technických údajů a bezpečnostních pokynů. Každé jiné použití je považováno za použití v rozporu s určením. Za následné škody a úrazy výrobce neručí. Dbejte prosím na to, že naše přístroje nejsou v souladu s určením konstruovány pro průmyslové použití.

Bezpečnostní pokyny pro první uvedení do provozu

Dbejte vždy na utažení šroubení a používejte výhradně jmenované díly z objemu dodávky.

Větve o průměru větším než 14 mm nejprve

odstřihněte nůžkami na větve, aby se zabránilo poškození přístroje.

Montáž (obr. 2+3)

Ochrana rukou:

Ochranu rukou namontujte podle obrázku 2 pomocí 2 šroubů, které jsou součástí dodávky, a ujistěte se, že jsou utažené.

Přístroj nepoužívejte nikdy bez ochrany rukou.

Odlehčení kabelu v tahu:

Aby se zabránilo neúmyslnému vytažení spojovacího kabelu z kombinace spínač/zástrčka, ujistěte se prosím, že je spojovací kabel správně připevněn na zařízení pro odlehčení v tahu - viz obr. 3.

Obsluha (obr. 1+4+5+6)

Před použitím, při vytažené zástrčce, odstraňte

kryt nože (obr. 1/1).

Zapnutí:

Zástrčku zapojte do sítě. Nůžky na živý plot Güde jsou vybaveny dvouručním bezpečnostním spínačem. Pracují jen tehdy, je-li jednou rukou stisknut spínač (obr. 1/5) na vodicí rukojeti (obr. 1/4) a druhou rukou spínač na rukojeti (obr. 1/6).

Použití:

Začněte stříhat vždy nejblíže zdroji proudu, abyste měli kabel vždy za sebou. Řez do tvaru lichoběžníka odpovídá přirozenému růstu rostlin a umožňuje živým plotům optimálně prospívat.

• Nejprve stříhejte boční plochy zespoda nahoru. Horní stranu zastřihněte podle svého vkusu rovně, do tvaru střechy nebo zakulaceně.

• Bezpečnostní nožová lišta má střídavě uspořádané řezáky, které jsou do stran zaoblené, což snižuje

nebezpečí úrazu. Přídavná ochrana proti nárazu zabraňuje nepříjemným odrazům při nárazu na stěny, ploty atd.

• Při zablokování nože pevnými předměty přístroj ihned vypněte, odpojte jej od zdroje napětí a pak teprve odstraňte zaseknutý předmět.

• Pozor: Kovové předměty, např. drátěné plot

rostlin atd. mohou vést k poškození nožové lišty.

• Nejlepšího řezného výkonu dosáhnete, když povedete nůžky na živý plot tak, aby zuby nožů svíraly s plotem úhel cca 15°. (obr. 4)

• Abyste dosáhli rovnoměrné výšky plotu, doporučujeme napnout si podél plotu vodicí šňůru. Přečnívající větve odstřihněte. (obr. 5)

• Boční plochy plotu se stříhají obloukovitými pohyby zdola nahoru. (obr. 6)

Bezpečnostní pokyny pro obsluhu

• Přístroj použijte až poté, co jste si pozorně přečetli návod k obsluze.

• Chovejte se zodpovědně vůči ostatním osobám.

Návod krok za krokem

• Před stříháním keřů či plotu odstraňte z plochy cizí

předměty.

• Oblečte si odpovídající ochranný oděv.

• Přístroj spusťte dle popisu v kapitole „Obsluha“.

• Dodržujte všechny relevantní bezpečnostní pokyny a

postupujte jako v kapitole Postup.

• Po každém použití přístroj vyčistěte a zkontrolujte

řezací zařízení z hlediska závad.

Přeprava a skladování

• Při přepravě je třeba neustále dbát, aby byl přístroj

odpojen od zdroje napájení.

• Před uložením přístroj důkladně vyčistěte.

• Přístroj uložte na čistém a suchém místě.

Zbytková nebezpečí a ochranná opatření

Mechanická zbytková nebezpečí Pořezání, uříznutí Protiběžné nože mohou způsobit vážná řezná poranění resp. amputaci částí těla.

Je-li přístroj v chodu, nikdy se nedotýkejte nožové lišty! Noste ochranné rukavice!

Zachycení, navinutí Protiběžné nože mohou být zachyceny napájecím kabelem a mohou se namotat resp. přetrhnout.

Během práce udržujte vždy dostatečný odstup od kabelu na podlaze a nepřeřízněte jej.

Kabel může být přeříznut noži. Pracujte zásadně jen na elektrické přípojce s (FI).

Záruka

Záruka se vztahuje výhradně na nedostatky způsobené vadou materiálu nebo výrobní vadou. Při reklamaci v záruční době je třeba přiložit originální doklad o koupi s datem prodeje.

Do záruky nespadá neodborné použití jako např. přetížení přístroje, použití násilí, poškození cizím zásahem nebo cizími předměty. Nedodržení návodu k použití a montáži a normální opotřebení rovněž nespadá do záruky.

Chování v případě nouze

Kvůli případné nehodě musí být na pracovišti vždy po ruce lékárnička první pomoci dle DIN 13164. Materiál, který si z lékárničky vezmete, je třeba ihned doplnit.

Likvidace

Pokyny pro likvidaci vyplývají z piktogramů umístěných na přístroji resp. obalu. Popis jednotlivých významů najdete v kapitole „Označení“.

Likvidace přepravního obalu Obal chrání přístroj před poškozením při přepravě. Obalové materiály jsou zvoleny zpravidla podle jejich šetrnosti vůči životnímu prostředí a způsobu likvidace a lze je proto recyklovat. Vrácení obalu do oběhu materiálu šetří suroviny a snižuje náklady na likvidaci odpadů. Části obalu (např. fólie, styropor) mohou být nebezpečné pro děti. Existuje riziko udušení! Části obalu uschovejte mimo dosah dětí a co nejrychleji zlikvidujte.

Požadavky na obsluhu

Obsluha si musí před použitím přístroje pozorně přečíst návod k obsluze.

Kvalifikace

Kromě podrobného poučení odborníkem není pro používání přístroje nutná žádná speciální kvalifikace.

Minimální věk

Na přístroji smí pracovat jen osoby, jež dosáhly 18 let a byly seznámeny s jeho obsluhou a funkcí. Mladistvým mezi 16. a

18. rokem je práce povolena jen pod dohledem dospělé osoby. Výjimku představuje využití mladistvých, pokud se toto děje během profesního vzdělávání za účelem dosažení dovednosti pod dohledem školitele.

Školení

Používání přístroje vyžaduje pouze odpovídající poučení odborníkem resp. návodem k obsluze. Speciální školení není nutné.

Prohlídky a údržba

Pro bezvadnou funkci a dlouhou životnost přístroje je důležité pravidelné čištění a údržba.

Nastavení na stroji provádějte jen při vytažené

zástrčce. Existuje značné riziko úrazu.

Ostření resp. výměna řezného nože:

• Toto nechte provést výhradně odborníkovi, neboť neodborná montáž může vést k vážným úrazům.

• Používejte jen originální náhradní díly.
