Overview
AS-VR16 Digital Voice Recorder
The AS-VR16 Digital Voice Recorder allows recording of a specified audio source (with related logic
triggering) and playback through a conventional telephone system. This unit records new incoming
messages over previously recorded messages automatically. The AS-VR16 is used to record
emergency PA announcements, not general page messages. Recording time can be up to one
minute. Test recording can be made by front-mounted controls and built-in monitor speaker.

• 16 gauge steel enclosure - zinc dichromate plated and powder coated
• 10 gauge steel faceplate - zinc dichromate plated and powder coated
• Compact 19” rack mount - two rack units (2U)
• Standard analog telephone line interface
• One minute recording capability
• Front mounted test microphone and monitor speaker
• Front Mounted Status LEDs
