The Germ Guardian™ Toothbrush Sanitizer is proven to kill up to 99% of germs on toothbrush bristles by reliably reaching sanitizing temperatures to effectively kill germs in forty-five (45) minutes. Dry heat is used so there is no exposure to chemicals.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

· This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric

shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

· This product should not be left unattended when plugged in.

· Close supervision is necessary when operated near children and pets.

· Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual.

· Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.

· Never block the air openings of the product or place it on a soft surface such as a bed or couch,

where the openings may become blocked. Keep the air openings free from lint and hair.

· Never drop or insert an object into any opening of this product other than the designated

sanitizing chamber.

· Do not touch hot surfaces or remove the lid while sanitizing cycle is taking place. Always wait for

the full 45-minute cycle to complete and wait for the indicator light to come on.

· Do not let the cord hang off the counter or table edge where it may be pulled down.

· Before each use, inspect toothbrush products for any damage or choking hazards. Discard if

necessary.

· Do not use with extension cord.

· The physiological effects of the operation of this appliance beneficial or otherwise have not been

investigated by CSA international. The Germ Guardian Toothbrush Sanitizer is NOT A DRYER. This product is not for outdoor or commercial use. The Germ Guardian Toothbrush Sanitizer

is for household use only. Use as directed.

The Toothbrush Sanitizer can be placed in its base to store on counters or mounted to the wall.

Wall Mount

1 Select wall location. Mark screw placement and drill holes. 2 If necessary, install anchors. 3 Align sanitizer (base not needed) with holes. 4 Install screws to secure unit to wall.

Once set up, remove tape and labels from unit placed to secure door and basket in shipping.

· Do not sanitize electronic or battery operated toothbrush bases as the heat may damage

the sensitive electronics. Remove toothbrush head and place in sanitizer.

1 Locate Toothbrush Sanitizer Base. (Fig. 1) 2 Take hold of tab and pull up. (Fig. 2) 3 Snap tab in place. (Fig. 3) 4 Locate hole in base of Toothbrush Sanitizer. (Fig. 4) 5 Line up hole in base with tab and insert. (Fig. 5) 6 Toothbrush sanitizer is secured onto base. (Fig. 6)

To maximize the effectiveness of the Germ Guardian™ Toothbrush Sanitizer, we recommend occasionally washing the sanitizing chamber and basket. Remove the sanitizing chamber and basket from the base and wash with warm water and mild detergent. Allow to dry completely before replacing them. Both pieces are dishwasher safe.

1 Unplug unit and let cool down. 2 Twist and remove bulb cover. (Fig. 10) 3 Pull out bulb. (Fig. 11) 4 Replace with new bulb #LB3000. (Fig. 12) 5 Replace bulb cover. (Fig. 13)

1 Rinse manual, electronic or battery operated toothbrush head and shake excess water.

2 Open door and place toothbrush into basket in sanitizing chamber. (Fig. 7)

3 Secure chamber. (Fig. 8)

4 Press on button - dry heat kills germs in 45 minutes without the use of chemicals. (Fig. 9)

5 Toothbrush Sanitizer automatically shuts off when cycle is complete.

NOTE: You may terminate the sanitizing cycle at any time by pressing and releasing the on/off button. Toothbrushes must be subjected to the complete 45 minute cycle to be sanitized.

IN ORDER FOR GERMS TO BE KILLED OR RENDERED INOPERATIVE, IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT ITEMS PLACED IN THE SANITIZING CHAMBER BE FREE OF FOREIGN MATTER.

1 Turn off/unplug and allow to cool before replacing bulb. 2 Bulb gets HOT quickly! Only contact switch/plug when turning on. 3 Do not touch hot bulb cover. 4 Do not remain in light if skin feels warm. 5 Do not look directly at lighted lamp. 6 Keep lamp away from materials that may burn. 7 Use only with a Germ Guardian 15 watt, 120 V, T469 Tungsten Halogen Bulb. 8 Do not touch the bulb at any time. Use a soft cloth. Oil from skin may damage bulb. 9 Do not operate the product with a missing or damaged bulb guard.

To the consumer, Guardian Technologies LLC warrants this product to be free of defects in materials or workmanship commencing upon the date of the original purchase. Save your original sales receipt to validate start of warranty period.

If this product should become defective within the warranty period, we will repair or replace any defective parts free of charge. The complete machine must be delivered pre-paid to any authorized Guardian Technologies LLC warranty service center. Please include complete information on the problem, day of purchase, copy of original sales receipt and your name, address and telephone number. If you are not near a warranty station, call the factory for assistance in the US and Canada at 1-866-603-5900. Use only genuine Guardian Technologies replacement parts.

The warranty does not include unusual wear, damage resulting from accident, or unreasonable use of the product. This warranty does not cover unauthorized repairs.
