Thank you for purchasing the Hygia 4.0 Table Top Air Purifier. Please read and save these instructions.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Please read the following precautions carefully before operating the Hygia 4.0 Table Top Air Purifier. Failure to do so could result in a fire hazard, electrical shock, bodily injury or damage to the unit.
Do not damage, pull, twist, bend or place heavy objects on the electrical cord.
Never handle the electrical cord with wet hands.
Do not alter the plug in any way.
Do not use with extension cords.
Never tug on the electrical cord to unplug the unit from the outlet.
Unplug the unit before cleaning, installing or replacing filters.
If the electrical cord becomes damaged, please contact a qualified
technician for repair.
Do not place fingers or foreign objects into the airflow openings of the unit.
Operate the unit in a well-ventilated area.
Do not operate unit with any other power supply other than the
one provided.
Do not operate the unit outdoors.
Do not operate near flammable gases.
Do not operate the unit in humid or wet places such as a bathroom.
Do not use chemical sprays near the unit, they will accumulate on the
filter and potentially cause harmful fumes.
Do not operate the unit in an area with high oil content, such as mechanical oil or cooking oil, over time it will deteriorate the filter.
Never look directly at the UV-light bulb when lit.
Make sure all filters are correctly installed before running the unit.
This is not a toy and is not intended for use by children. For adult
use only.
Do not defeat interlock switch.

INSTALLATION
The filter can be found packaged inside the Air Purifier. It is recommended to replace the filter every six months to maintain optimal performance.
Installing the Filter
1. Unplug the Hygia 4.0 from the electrical outlet.
2. Unplug the electrical cord from the Hygia 4.0.
3. Turn unit over so the filter door faces you.

Features
Levels of filtration include:
1. Charcoal filter removes odors and smoke.
2. HEPA filter captures 99.9% of airborne particles.
3. PCO filter captures and dissolves airborne allergens and mold.
4. Ionizer - Emits small amount of ions to freshen the air.
Cleaning the Unit
WARNING: To avoid serious injury from electric shock, the unit must be turned OFF and unplugged from the power outlet prior to any cleaning.
1. TURN THE UNIT OFF AND UNPLUG THE UNIT FROM THE
POWER OUTLET.
2. Clean unit with a damp soft cloth only. DO NOT pour or splash water on the unit or use any abrasive type cleaner. Clean all external surfaces, especially the air intake grills and air outlet.
3. Reposition the unit, plug power cord into power outlet and turn ON.
4. Using a coin, turn the round filter release button to the left so the line in the center is facing vertically.
5. Release the door.
6. Gently pull filter from unit
and remove bag.
7. Replace filter into compartment.
8. To install new filter reverse steps 1-6.
