manual. Usage other than what has been specified here may result in serious injury.

Disassembly, repair or remodeling by an unauthorized person may result in serious harm and
will void the manufactures warranty.
Always place this diffuser on a firm, flat & level surface. This diffuser may not work properly on
an uneven surface.
Do not place this product on cloth, carpet, or an absorbent surface. This may block air inlet.
This product releases mist. Do not place this diffuser directly on wood furniture, flooring or any
surfaces that could be damaged by water. Manufacturer does not accept any liability for
damage in the case of the unit being placed incorrectly.
Do not use if plug is damaged or loose.
Before filling or cleaning the unit, make sure it is unplugged.
Once the diffuser has been plugged in, do not tilt or move the unit.
Do not remove the water tank from the unit while it is on.
Do not handle the plug with wet hands.
Do not excessively bend, twist, pull or damage the power cord.
Avoid placing this product where the humidity spout is pointed directly at an object or person.
Do not inhale the mist/vapor expelled from the product or drink water from the tank.
Do not fill the water tank with hot or boiling water.
Do not use this product in direct sunlight or near a heat source such as a stove, heater or
radiator.
If the water tank becomes cracked or damaged, do not use.
Do not keep this product running for an extended period of time.
Unplug the cord when unit is not in use for an extended period of time and/or when no one is
home.
Do not keep water in the tank when not in use for an extended period of time.
Do not clean the unit, water tank or water reservoir with detergents or chemicals of any kind.

Do not use this product near any other electronic device.
Do not cover the spray spout at any time during use. Do not put anything on or in the tank.
IMPORTANT: Neither humans nor animals can hear the high frequency vibrations.
When unplugging from outlet, hold diffuser securely.
Do not place cord over objects.
Do not get water in or on the power cord where it connects to the product. Do not use near a
sink.
Do not touch the water tank during operation.
Do not submerse the unit in water or pour water on the unit or in the humidity spout.
When emptying water from water tank, pour on drain side.
Do not cover the spout with cloth or hand and do not use without the spout.
Use clean or distilled water in tank. Hard water areas will require more frequent cleaning.
USE OF ESSENTIAL OIL
Please follow the recommendations listed below for the proper use of essential oil to avoid causing
malfunction/damage to the product or cause harm to the users.
Use essential oils.
Do not directly apply undiluted oil on to your skin or swallow it.
Do not allow the oil to come in contact with your skin, wash it off with water. Should you
swallow it, seek medical help immediately.
The water tank and tank cover are made of oil-proof materials. Other parts may be dissolved
by some oil components. Take care not to spill them outside the water tank.
Certain aroma oils are not very soluble in water and tend to remain in the water tank.
Therefore, clean the water tank regularly.
Clean the water tank for every oil change. If the oil previously used is not completely removed,
the aroma mixture may release an offensive odor or may have residue forming.
Ensure the oil does not get into your eyes. Should it happen, wash your eyes immediately with
water. Consult a doctor should irritation persist.
If you feel unwell while using this product, turn off device immediately.
Pregnant women, elderly people, young children or people with chronic diseases may be more
sensitive to scent. If they feel unwell, stop using immediately.
Store essential oil in a dark cool place with cap tightly closed and out of reach of children and
pets.

This decorative and unique ultrasonic aroma diffuser generates a subtle, pleasing aromatherapy mist.
Aromatherapy - Enjoy the ultrasonic aromatherapy experience in your home or office using essential
oils. The advanced Ultrasonic Technology used produces vibrations at high frequency turning the
water into mist creating a soothing atmosphere. This diffuser is safe to use and does not contain any
heating elements.
Lighting - Provides options to use the lighting as a night light or to enhance your mood.
Digital Display (model SPA260) also functions as clock/alarm clock with the LED display. Includes a
timer for automatic shut-off and options for continuous changing night light or specific colors.
Auto Shut Off – When the unit water level is too low, it will automatically shut off.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before first use, remove the clear tab located on the back of the diffuser. This tab
prevents the clock battery from activating during shipping. (Model SPA260 only).
SET UP
Select a firm, level, flat location – at least 6 inches (15 cm) from any wall or object for
proper air flow. Place the diffuser on a water-resistant surface, as water can damage
furniture and some flooring. Do not place directly on carpet, towels, blankets or other
absorbent surfaces. Keep the unit away from any electronics sensitive to water.
Guardian Technologies will not accept responsibility for damage caused by
water spillage.
FILLING
Make sure unit is unplugged.
1. Separate the top cover from the main body of the unit.
2. Using standard tap water, use the measuring cup to fill the water into the
water tank. DO NOT fill the water tank beyond the MAX level mark of
measuring cup. Diffuser will not work if filled beyond the MAX level.
Important: DO NOT attempt to fill water into the diffuser without
removing the top cover.
3. Add 3-5 drops of essential oil.
Important: Avoid adding too many drops of oil.
4. Return the top cover.
5. Connect the power adapter to the unit. Plug into electrical outlet.
6. Press the power button to turn the diffuser on.
7. Depending on your preference, you may want to add more drops for a
stronger scent.
Important: Additional oil drops may be needed during cycle to maintain
aroma.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

1. Use the Power Button to turn the LED night light ON/OFF.
Press once: Diffuser ON/Night Light OFF
Press twice: Diffuser ON/Night Light ON
Press three times: Diffuser OFF/Night Light OFF
2. Auto Shut Off: When the unit water level is too low, it will automatically shut
off.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

1. Power: Touch the Power Button to turn the diffuser on and off.
2. Clock Display: Press and hold the “Timer” Button down until it beeps to enter the setting mode for the
clock (the clock display will blink.) Touch the “Light” Button to set the Minutes. Touch the “Alarm”
Button to set the Hours.
Note: Repeatedly press to scroll through the Minutes/Hours when setting the time. Clock will blink then beep
once set.
3. Alarm Clock: Press and hold the “Alarm” Button until it beeps to enter the setting mode (the Clock
display will blink). Touch the “Light” Button to set the Minutes. Touch the “Alarm” Button to set
the Hours.
Note: Repeatedly press to scroll through the Minutes/Hours when setting the alarm. When the time you set
for the alarm arrives, the device will sound for 60 seconds unless you de-activate by pressing any button. The
device and light will also turn on unless there is no water. If you do not de-activate, the alarm will sound each
day at that set time. Alarm is set when light is on. To turn off, press the alarm button. Make sure tab on back
of unit is removed/discarded. This will allow clock to continue to operate when unit is unplugged.
4. Light: Touch the “Light” Button to select lighting mode. Alarm is set when light is on. To turn off press
the alarm button. Touch repeatedly to select to color. Color order is: auto color changing, red green, or blue.
Final touch will turn off the light.
5. Timer: Touch the “Timer” Button to select when you want the diffuser to shut off. Touch repeatedly to
select time of: 30, 60, 120 or 180 minutes. Final touch will turn off the timer.
6. Auto Shut Off: When the unit water level is too low, it will automatically shut off.
AFTER EACH USE
1. Turn the device OFF and unplug he unit from the electrical outlet. Lift off the top cover.
2. Drain and rinse the water tank thoroughly to remove any sediment and dirt. Wipe clean and dry with a clean
soft cloth or paper towel.
3. Remove water and clean the water tank after each use. If oil residue or the previous scent remains in the
tank, then deep clean by adding a mixture of 1 tsp. white vinegar and 1 tsp. water. Let solution stand for 5
minutes. Clean with a soft brush, empty and rinse thoroughly with water.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT fill with HOT water as this may cause leaking. Remove water from the tank when the diffuser is
not in use.
NOTE: IF YOU EXPERIENCE A PROBLEM DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN THE MOTOR HOUSING YOURSELF.
DOING SO MAY VOID YOUR WARRANTY AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE DIFFUSER OR PERSONAL INJURY.

Water vapor not produced.
Power Plug: Unplug and then try again.
Power Failure: When the power is returned, try

Air blows, but water vapor is

Excessive Water: Remove a certain amount of
water from the tank.

Water is accumulating outside
of unit or area surrounding

Unit not level and water is accumulating. Unplug
and place on level surface. Raise unit on a waterresistant level surface 2-3 feet off of floor.
