IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should be observed, including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR VACUUM.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of re, electric shock, or injury:
• Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
• Do not immerse in water.
• Do not handle the charger, including charger plug and
terminals, or appliance with wet hands.
• Do not use the appliance if it is not working as it should or if it has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water – take it to a Service Center.
• Do not use with damaged cord or plug on the charger.
• Do not damage the charging cord. Never carry or pull by the cord, use cord as a handle, close door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not use an extension cord. AC adapter should plug directly into electrical outlet.
• Do not put any object into appliance openings, or restrict air flow.
• Do not use with any opening blocked.
• Keep openings free of dust, lint, hair and
anything that may reduce airflow.
• Do not pick up hot, burning or smoking objects such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
• Do not pick up flammable or combustible materials (lighter fluid, gasoline, kerosene, etc.) or use in the presence of explosive liquids or vapor.
• Do not use appliance in an enclosed space filled with vapors given off by oil based paint, paint thinner, some moth proofing substances, flammable dust, or other explosive or toxic vapors.
• Do not pick up toxic material (chlorine bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, gasoline, etc.).
• Do not use without dust bin and/or filters in place.
• Do not incinerate this appliance, even if it is severely
damaged. The batteries can explode in a fire.
• Do not use for any purpose other than described in this User’s Guide.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all body parts away from openings or moving parts.
• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
• Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge the battery.
• Use charger unit only in standard electrical outlet (120V – 60Hz).
• Unplug the charger from outlet when not in use and before conducting maintenance.
• Use charger in dry location only.
• Do not charge the unit outdoors.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug,
grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Turn off all controls before unplugging.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only
manufacturer’s recommended attachments.
• Disconnect cordless vacuum cleaner from AC adapter before maintenance or cleaning.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• This product contains rechargeable Li-Ion
batteries. Do not mishandle the battery as there is risk of possible hazards of burning, fire, or explosion.
• To avoid possible hazards from the battery do not open, crush, disassemble, heat above 60°C , expose to high temperatures or incinerate.
• The battery should be removed from the appliance before it is discarded.
• Dispose of battery safely.
• Battery cell leaks can occur under extreme
conditions. If battery cell liquid comes in contact with the skin: Wash immediately with soap and water. Neutralize with a mild acid such as vinegar or lemon juice.
• If battery cell liquid gets into the eyes: Flush immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes. Seek medical attention.

Commercial use of this unit voids the manufacturer’s warranty.

Assembly
Warning:
Care must be taken to avoid accidental entanglement of the charger cord and vacuum head.
Warning:
Care must be taken cleaning edges of rugs. Do not use on frayed carpets or tasseled rugs.
Place upper handle into the product.
Operation
Press foot on the machine head and pull the upper handle back.
Solid LEDs =
Brush Bar Jam
Insert the battery into the rear of the product.
Press power button located by the middle handle.
Avoid picking anything up that may jam the brush bar. If the brush bar jams, the product will stop and

Battery Pack Charging

When the product is in use the green LEDs will decrease to show the battery charge level.
Charge battery pack
When the product stops and the red LED bars are depleting you need to charge the battery.
Empty the dirt briquettes into the waste basket. Tap filter assembly to release dirt.
Plug charger into an electrical outlet and connect to the charging socket on the rear of the battery. The battery can be charged in the product or on its own.
Pulsing LEDs

The green LED bars pulse when the battery is charging. It takes around 4 hours to fully recharge.

Unplug once charged. Always unplug charger before using the product or charger cord may be damaged. If needed the product can be used before the battery is fully charged.

Warning:
•Ensure the filter is completely dry then fully reassemble the product.
•Never use the unit without the filter fitted.
•The filter will be damaged by excessive heat.
Cleaning the filter
Wash the filters once a month.
Remove bin from product and remove filter assembly from the bin.
Use a coin and turn to the unlocked position.
Use the tabs on the filters to remove from the filter assembly.
Warning:
Only use a replacement battery pack as supplied by the manufacturer and only use the charger provided with the product. Using another charger may damage the product and battery pack, and will invalidate your warranty.

Wash the filters under a tap until water-flow is clean.
Squeeze excess water from filter.
Dry for 24 hours in a warm ventilated area.
Battery Removal & Replacement
Switch off the product and ensure the charger is disconnected.
Press the latch to release the power pack.
Care and Maintenance
Before cleaning or maintenance switch off and remove the battery pack.

Warning:
Do not use water, solvents, pr polishes to clean the outside of the unit. Wipe with a dry cloth.
Warning:
Never immerse the unit in water and do not clean in a dishwasher.
Warning:
Never use the unit without the filter fitted.
• Each week clean the product with a dry cloth, including under the bin.
• Remove hair and fibre from the brush bar, cutting along the brush with scissors can help,
but be careful not to cut the bristles.
• Do not pick up liquids or use on wet floors.
• Don’t use on concrete, tarmacadam or other rough surfaces.
• Do not pick up pieces of string or fabrics.
• Do not use on rug tassels or frayed carpets.
• Do not store or charge the appliance outdoors.
• Store indoors in a dry place.
• Store out of reach of children.
• Any other maintenance or servicing not included in the manual should be performed by an authorized
service representative.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE GTECH AIRRAM 2-YEAR WARRANTY
SUMMARY
• The warranty becomes effective at the date of purchase (or the date of delivery if this is later).
• You must provide proof of purchase before any repair work can be started. Repair done without proof of purchase is at the expense of the customer.
• All work will be carried out by Gtech, USA or one of its authorized agents.
• Any parts which are replaced will become the property of Gtech, USA.
• The repair or replacement of your AirRam Vacuum Cleaner is under warranty and will not extend the original period of warranty.
• The warranty provides benefits which are additional to and do not affect your statutory right as a consumer.
WARNING: Only use the charger supplied with the product. Using another charger may damage the
product and battery, and will invalidate your warranty.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Gtech does not guarantee the repair or replacement of a product as a result of:
• Normal wear and tear (e.g. belt brush bar, batteries).
• Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or
care, misuse, neglect, careless operation or handling of the vacuum cleaner which is not in accordance with Gtech AirRam operating manual.
• Blockages – please refer to the Gtech AirRam operating manual for details of how to unblock your vacuum cleaner.
• The lithium-ion battery is not covered by the warranty.
• Use of the vacuum cleaner for anything other than the
normal domestic household purposes.
• Use of parts and accessories which are not Gtech Genuine Components.
• Faulty installation (except where installed by Gtech).
• Repairs or alterations conducted by parties other than
Gtech or its authorized agents.

When the vacuum has reached the end of its life, it and the Li-Ion battery it contains should not be disposed of with general household waste. The battery should be removed from the vacuum and both should be disposed of properly at a recognised recycling facility.
Call your local council, via amenity site, or recycling centre for information on the disposal and recylcing of electrical products.
