TBM – total body mass (bone mass, muscle, calories):
– The user (parameter 01) is female. – Bone mass is approx. 6.0 kg. – Muscle mass is approx. 38.5%. – The recommended daily calorie consumption
is 1,974 kcal.
Notes on measurements
Total body water
Water is an essential part of the body. The amount of water in the body may vary between 45% and 60%. It helps all the essential biochemical reactions necessary for normal bodily functions. Water transports waste products out of the cells and discharges them in sweat and urine.
Water also maintains a constant body temperature. The amount of water in the body depends on the proportion of water loss, for example due to heat or physical activity and sweating. Therefore, it is very important to ensure and check the proportion of water in the body and ensure that it remains constant.
Body fat composition
Checking the body fat composition is particularly important. A high fat mass can lead to high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease and other illnesses. The American College of Sports Medicine have made the following recommendations for body fat mass:

results appear one after the other in the display. – The readings are displayed three times one
after the other. Afterwards the scales switches off automatically.
– Once the readings have been fully displayed,
you can display them again by pressing »

manually.
TBF (total body fitness):
– The user (parameter 01) is female. – Body weight is 62 kg, height is 176 cm, age
is 28 years old.
– Body fat mass is approx. 20.4% and is
normal.
TBW (total body water):
– The user (parameter 01) is female. – The ideal weight is 62 kg, height is 176 cm,
age is 28 years old.
– Total body water is approx. 56.5%.

Notes on operating and cleaning
7
The maximum load of the scale is 180 kg. The following appears in the display if the maximum load is exceeded. Get off the glass surface immediately.
7
If the results of the analysis exceed the scale’s LC display, then »Err« appears in the display. Afterwards the scale switches off automatically.
7
The scale and the detachable control unit should not be more than two to three metres apart. The signal transmission is poor from a distance of three metres.
7
The scale is equipped with an automatic off function to preserve the battery. It switches off automatically if the operation is interrupted for more than 15 seconds.
7
If you would like a more accurate measurement, do not use the scale straight after drinking coffee, beer, wine or other alcoholic beverages. The same applies to heavy physical exertion. These factors reduce the amount of water in body tissue (dehydrogenation). Wait a few hours in this case.
7
Clean the scale and the control unit with a damp cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents. Do not submerge the appliances in water.
Mounting the control unit on the wall
1 Fix the bracket on the wall making sure the
raised magnet strip is facing outwards.
2 Place the control unit with the magnetic recess
on the bracket’s raised magnetic strip.
