Please note the following instructions when using the appliance.

Keep the instruction manual for future use. Should a third party be given the unit, please ensure the instruction manual is included.

The appliance is designed for domestic use only.

Never use the appliance in the bath, shower or over a wash basin filled with water; nor should it be operated with wet hands.

Do not immerse the appliance in water or let it come into contact with water, even during cleaning.

If the appliance is used in the bathroom, it is essential that you unplug it after use, as any water close to the appliance can still pose a hazard, even if the appliance is switched off.

If not already in use, installing a residual current-operated protective device (RCD) is recommended for additional protection with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA in the electrical circuit of your bathroom. Ask your plumber for advice.

Never cover the appliance, for example with a towel.

Never place the appliance on soft cushions or blankets during operation.

The appliance can become very hot. Do not keep your hair around the heating element for more than a few seconds.

Do not allow the barrel to come into contact with your face, neck or head. Do not touch it with your bare hands.

Unplug the appliance after use. Do not disconnect the plug by pulling on the cord. Place the appliance on a heat resistant surface and allow it to cool down.

Never use the appliance if it or the power cord is visibly damaged.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, a service centre or a similarly qualified person to avoid any danger of electrical shock.

Ceramic ensures constantly
high temperature and even heat distribution. The heat is distributed evenly to ensure hair is fully pro­tected.
Tourmaline generates negative
ions in a natural way, prevents frizz, static charging and preserves the natural moisture of the hair.
Nano silver inhibits bacteria

OPERATION

Styling curls
Your appliance conjures up glamorous curls and ringlets that are spectacularly springy and stay in a perfect shape.
Caution

The heating element with clip be­comes very hot. Do not touch with your hands.

Do not allow the heating element to come into contact with your skin, face, neck or head.
7
Set the appliance to the lowest temperature level the first time you use it. You can find the level which is suitable for your hair by increment­ing the temperature level.
1 Place the appliance on a solid, flat,
heat resistant surface. Use the product stand.
2 Plug the power cord

There are 3 temperature levels which are shown with the markers on the temperature setting wheel. One dot shows the minimum and three dots show the maximum tem­perature level. The temperature can also be set between the dots.
4 Press and hold down On button

for 2 seconds to switch on the ap­pliance. – The mode indicator light

lights up blue and starts flashing until it reaches the set temperature.
– When the appliance has reach-
ed the desired temperature, the mode indicator light

stops flashing, meaning that it is ready to use.
– The mode indicator LED is also
flashing when set temperature will be changed during operation until new set temperature (higher or lower) is reached.
5 Comb or brush out a section of your
hair about 3 cm wide.
6 Press and hold down lever

. Place the end of the section of hair under the clip and release the lever

7 Wrap the section of hair around the
curling wand with clip

The appliance can reach a temperature of 140° C up to a maximum temperature of 180 °C. It reaches 100° C approximately in 60 seconds.

If the appliance is not used for a while after it is heated up, it au­tomatically switches off after 60 minutes.

Never leave the appliance unat­tended while it is plugged in.

Allow the appliance to cool down in a safe place.

Cleaning and care
1 Turn the appliance off and unplug
the power cord

2 Before cleaning, allow the
appliance to cool down. The appliance can become very hot and may take up to 45 minutes to cool down.
3 Clean the appliance only with a soft
damp cloth.

Never put the appliance or power cord in water or any other liquid. Do not use any cleaning agents.

Before using the appliance after cleaning, dry all parts carefully using a dry soft towel.
Storage

If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long period of time, please store it carefully.

Make sure that it is unplugged, has completely cooled and is completely dry.

Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.

Keep it in a cool, dry place.

Make sure that the appliance is kept out of the reach of children.
