Preparing
7
Plug appliance into a suitable
mains supply. The hair styler is ready for use.
7
Always place hair styler on a
solid, flat, heat resistant surface. Do not place hair styler on any soft or uneven surfaces such as carpets, bedding or rugs. Never cover the unit. The plates heat up to a high temperature quickly (200°C).
Straightening hair
1 Switch the hair styler on using the
On/Off switch B. – Power on indicator light C illu-
minates. The plates will rapidly heat up and be ready for use within seconds.
2 Separate a section of hair ap-
proximately 5 cm in width and smooth it out with a brush. Start with the neck.
3 Place the section of hair between
the plates A of the hair styler, as near to the hair line as you can, and close the plates. Take care not to touch the hot plates.
4 Hold the hair styler in place until
the hair is fully heated. This will be almost instant. When holding the hair styler always ensure fingertips are placed away from the hot plates.
5 Once the hair is heated, holding
the hair taut, carefully slide the plates along the section of hair, in one smooth movement all the way down to the ends.
Notes
7
If you have thick hair, you might
have to repeat this process on the same section several times.
