Mit dieser Kurzanleitung wird Ihnen eine schnelle Inbetriebnahme des GRUNDIG Kameramodells

6 SD-Karten-Slot

Schieben Sie die SD-Karten in den Karten-Slot, um Videos und
Schnappschüsse zu speichern. Entfernen Sie die SD-Karte nicht,
wenn die Kamera eingeschaltet ist.

NOTE: Es wird nicht empfohlen rund um die Uhr ohne Unterbrechung mit der SD-Karte
aufzuzeichnen, da die Karte möglicherweise nicht auf fortdauerndes Abspielen und Aufzeichnen
ausgelegt ist. Bitte wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller der SD-Karte, um Informationen bezüglich der
Verlässlichkeit und Lebenserwartung der Karte zu erhalten.

Installation der IP-Kamera

Ethernet-Kabel-Verbindung

Schließen Sie ein Ende des Cat. 5-Ethernet-Kabels an die RJ45-Verbindung der IP-Kamera an. Das andere Ende
des Kabels verbinden Sie bitte mit dem Netzwerk-Switch oder dem PC.

Anmerkung: Wenn Sie die IP-Kamera direkt an den PC anschließen, brauchen Sie eventuell ein
Ethernet-Crossover-Kabel.

Anmerkung: Bitte überprüfen Sie den Status der LEDs für die Verbindungsanzeige und die

In-Betrieb-Anzeige. Falls die LEDs ausgeschaltet sind, überprüfen Sie bitte die LAN-Verbindung.

Das grüne Verbindungslicht weist auf eine Netzwerk-Verbindung hin.

Das orangefarbene In-Betrieb-Licht leuchtet zur Anzeige des Netzwerk-Betriebs.

Stromversorgung der Kamera

Um die IP-Kamera an den Strom anzuschließen, verbinden Sie bitte das DC 12V- oder AC 24V-Kabel mit dem
dazugehörigen Stromanschluss an der Kamera. Alternativ können Sie die Kamera mit dem Ethernet-Kabel und
einem PoE-Switch mit Strom versorgen. Falls Sie die Stromversorgung über das Ethernet-Kabel benutzen, stellen
Sie sicher, dass Sie Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) verwenden.

Vor dem Einloggen in die IP-Kamera

Ein Client-Programm wird automatisch auf Ihrem PC installiert, wenn Sie eine Verbindung zur IP-Kamera
herstellen. Bevor Sie sich in die IP-Kamera einloggen, stellen Sie bitte sicher, dass die ActiveX-Einstellungen im
Internet Explorer die Installation und Ausführung der Client-Software erlauben. Um dies zu gewährleisten, können
Sie entweder die Active-X-Steuerelemente und Plugins entsprechend einstellen oder die Sicherheitseinstellung
des Internet Explorers auf die Standardstufe zurücksetzen (siehe Anweisungen unten).

Einloggen in die IP-Domekamera

Nachdem die Kamera angeschlossen wurde, sucht die Kamera zuerst nach einem DHCP-Server im Netzwerk.
Falls ein DHCP-Server gefunden wird, bekommt die Kamera vom DHCP-Server eine IP-Adresse zugeteilt.
Wenn innerhalb von 4 Minuten kein DHCP-Server gefunden wird, geht die Kamera automatisch auf die vom
Werk eingestellte IP-Adresse: 192.168.1.1
Um eine erste Verbindung zur Kamera mit der Werks-IP-Adresse 192.168.1.1 herzustellen, gehen Sie bitte
wie folgt vor. Stellen Sie die IP-Adresse Ihres PCs so ein, dass dieser im gleichen IP- Adressraum ist wie die
Kamera ist: 192.168.1.xxx. Der PC darf aber nicht dieselbe IP-Adresse haben wie die Kamera.
Zum Beispiel: IP-Adresse des PCs: 192.168.1.100 / Subnetzmaske: 255.255.255.0

Benutzername & Kennwort

 Tragen Sie die IP-Adresse der Kamera in die Adressleiste des Web-Browser-Fensters ein und drücken Sie

“Enter”.

 Geben Sie den vom Werk festgelegten Benutzernamen (admin) und das Kennwort (1234) in das Dialogfenster

ein. Beachten Sie, dass beim Benutzernamen zwischen Groß- und Kleinschreibung unterschieden wird.

ActiveX-Steuerelement installieren

Nach dem Anschließen der IP-Kamera, taucht eine Anfrage zur Installation eines ActiveX-Steuerelements unter

1.Schritt: Starten Sie den Internet

Explorer.

2.Schritt: Wählen Sie <Extras> aus dem
Hauptmenü des Browsers aus und klicken
Sie auf <Internetoptionen>.

3.Schritt: Wählen Sie <Sicherheit> aus und
klicken Sie auf das “Internet”- Symbol,
danach gehen Sie auf <Stufe anpassen…>,
um die ActiveX-Einstellungen zu ändern.

4.Schritt: Stellen Sie die “ActiveX­Steuerelemente und Plugins”-Elemente
auf <Aktivieren> oder <Bestätigen>.

2.Schritt: <Extras> aus dem Hauptmenü

des Browsers auswählen und auf <Internet­optionen> klicken.

3.Schritt: <Sicherheit> auswählen und auf
das “Internet”-Symbol klicken.

4.Schritt: Unten im Fenster, drücken Sie
bitte <Standardstufe> und klicken auf <OK>,
um die Einstellung zu bestätigen. Schließen
Sie das Browser-Fenster und öffnen Sie
später ein neues Fenster, um die
Verbindung zur IP-Kamera herzustellen.

der Adressleiste auf (siehe Bild unten). Klicken Sie auf diese Informationsleiste und wählen Sie <ActiveX

Steuerelement installieren…> aus, um die Installation des Active-X Steuerelements zuzulassen.

Im angezeigten Sicherheitswarnungsfenster, klicken Sie auf <Install> (Installieren), um den Download der

GRUNDIG Viewer-Software zu starten. Drücken Sie auf <Finish> (Beenden), um die GRUNDIG Viewer-Installation

zu beenden.

Ändern der IP-Adresse mit der GRUNDIG Finder-Software

Starten Sie den GRUNDIG Finder und drücken Sie <Find Device>. Alle angeschlossenen GRUNDIG Kameras werden
in einer Liste angezeigt (siehe Bild 1). Drücken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf die ausgewählte Kamera und
wählen Sie <Network Setup> aus.

Geben Sie den vom Werk festgelegten Benutzernamen (admin) und das Kennwort (1234) in das Dialogfenster ein
(siehe Bild 2). Ein Fenster wird anzeigt (siehe Bild 2), das die Änderung der IP-Adresse, abhängig von der

Einstellung des Netzwerks (DHCP oder statisch), ermöglicht. Wenn Sie auf <Apply> drücken, startet die Kamera mit

der neuen IP-Adresse.

Browser-basierter Viewer

Das Hauptmenü der Kamera-Benutzeroberfläche ist im

Bild auf der rechten Seite angezeigt (Änderungen

vorbehalten).

6 SD Card Slot

Insert the SD card into the card slot to store videos and snapshots.
Do not remove the SD card when the camera is powered on.

NOTE: It is not recommended to record with the SD card for 24/7 continuously as it may not be able to
support long term continuous data reading/writing. Please contact the manufacturer of the SD card
for information regarding the reliability and the life expectancy.

IP Dome Camera Installation

Please follow the instructions below to complete the IP Dome Camera installation.

Ethernet Cable Connection

Connect one end of the Cat. 5 Ethernet cable to the RJ45 connector of the IP Camera, and the other end of
the cable to the network switch or PC.

NOTE: When connecting the IP Camera directly to a PC, you might need to use an Ethernet crossover
cable.
NOTE: Check the status of the link indicator and activity indicator LEDs; if the LEDs are unlit, please
check the LAN connection.

Green Link Light indicates good network connection.
Orange Activity Light flashes for network activity indication.

Power up the Camera

To power up the IP Camera please connect the camera´s DC 12V or AC 24V cable with a corresponding power
supply. Alternatively, connect the Ethernet cable to the camera’s PoE port and plug the other end of the cable
into a PoE switch.

NOTE: If using PoE, make sure Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) is in use in the network.

Before Login to the IP Camera

A client program will be automatically installed on your PC when connecting to the IP Camera. Before
logging in to the IP Camera, please make sure the ActiveX settings in the Internet Explorer allow the client
software to be installed and executed. To ensure this you can set the security level of the Internet Explorer to
default level. For further details, please refer to the IP Camera’s user manual.

ActiveX Controls and Plug-In
Settings

Internet Security Level

Step 1: Start the Internet

Explorer.
Step 2: Select <Tools> from the
main menu of the browser. Then
Click <Internet Options>.
Step 3: Click the <Security> tab
and select “Internet”, then click
<Custom level> to change
ActiveX settings.
Step 4: Set “ActiveX controls and
plug-ins” items to <Prompt> or
<Enable>.

Step 1: Start the Internet
Explorer.
Step 2: Select <Tools> from the
main menu of the browser. Then
Click <Internet Options>.
Step 3: Click the <Security> tab
and select “Internet”.
Step 4: Down the page, press
<Default Level> and click <OK> to
confirm the setting. Close the
browser window, and open a new
one later for accessing the IP
Camera.

IP Camera Login

After the camera is connected, the camera will first look for a DHCP server in the network. If a DHCP server
is found, the DHCP server will assign an IP address to the camera. If no DHCP server is found within 4
minutes, the camera will be set automatically to the factory default IP address: 192.168.1.1
To establish a first connection to the camera with the factory default IP address 192.168.1.1, please proceed
as follows. Set the IP address of your PC to an IP address that is in the same IP address space as the camera:

192.168.1.xxx. Please note that the PC is not allowed to have the same IP address as the camera. For
example: IP Address of the PC: 192.168.1.100 / Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Login ID & Password

 Put in the IP Camera’s IP address in the URL bar of the web browser window and press “Enter”.
 Enter the default user name (admin) and password (1234) in the prompt request dialogue.
 Please note that the user name is case sensitive.

Install the ActiveX Control

 After connecting to the IP Camera, the request for installing the ActiveX control will appear below the URL

bar.

 Right-click on the information bar and press <Install ActiveX Control…> to permit ActiveX control

installation.

 In the pop-up security warning window, click <Install> to start downloading the GRUNDIG Viewer software.
 Press <Finish> after GRUNDIG Viewer installation is complete.

Change the IP Address with the GRUNDIG Finder Software

Start the GRUNDIG Finder and press the <Find Device> button. All attached GRUNDIG cameras will appear in
the list below (see Picture 1). Right-click on the camera and select <Network Setup>.

Enter the default user name (admin) and password (1234) in the prompt request dialogue (see Picture 2).
A window will pop up (see Picture 2), where you can adjust the IP address of your camera depending on your

network setup (DHCP or static). The camera will reboot with a new IP address after you press <Apply>.

Browser-based Viewer

The main page of the IP Camera user interface is
shown in the picture on the right. Please note that
function buttons may vary depending on the camera
model.

6 SD Card Slot

Introduzca la tarjeta SD para grabar videos y snapshots. No remueva
la tarjeta SD si la camera esta funcionando.

NOTA: No se aconseja de grabar con la SD continuamente 24/7, ya que pueda que no soporte la
grabación o lectura de grabaciones continuas durante un periodo largo. Por favor contacte con el
fabriante de la SD para informarse sobre la fiabilidad y la vida maxima de la misma.

Instalación de la cámara IP

Conexión del Cable Ethernet

Conecte un extremo del cable Ethernet Cat. 5 al conector RJ45 de la cámara IP, y el otro extremo del cable al
conmutador de red o al PC.

NOTA: Cuando conecte la cámara IP directamente al PC, podría necesitar usar un cable cruzado
Ethernet.
NOTA: Compruebe el estado del indicador de enlace y de los LEDs indicadores de actividad; si los
LEDs no se encienden, por favor compruebe la conexión LAN.
