Energy is m ea sured i n Wh (watt hour s), kWh (kilo watt hours) o r MWh (megawa tt hours).
The energ y is t he power ca lc ulated ov er t ime. For ex am ple, your i nv erter ope ra tes at a
constan t po wer of 4600 W f or h alf an hour a nd t hen at a cons ta nt power of 2 30 0 W for
another h al f an hour, it has fed 345 0Wh of energy i nto the power d istributi on grid withi n
that hour.

Power

Power is me as ured in W ( watts), kW (k ilowatts) o r MW (megawat ts). Power is a n
instant an eous valu e. I t display s th e power you r in verter is c ur rentl y feeding int o the
power dis tr ibution g ri d.

Power rat e

Power rat e is t he radio of c ur rent po wer feeding i nto the power d istributi on grid and the
maximum p ow er of the inv er ter that ca n fe ed into the p ow er distri bu tion grid .

Power fac to r

Power fac to r is the rati o of t rue power o r wa tts to appa rent powe r or volt amps. T hey are
identic al o nly when cu rrent and v oltage are in phase than t he power fact or is 1.0. The
power in an a c ci rcuit i s very seldom e qual to the direct pro duct of the vol ts and ampe res.
In orde r to find the pow er of a single ph ase ac circ uit the pro duct of volts a nd amperes
must be mul ti plied by th e po wer facto r.

grid. The inverter is not i ntended for mobile use. Any other or ad ditional use is n ot

conside red the int ended use. The manufa ct urer/ supplier is n ot liable for damage
caused by suc h un intended us e. D amage cause d by s uch uninten ded use is at the sole
risk of the o pe rator.

PV module s Ca pacitiv e Di scharge C ur rents

PV module s wi th large ca pa cities relative to e arth, such as t hin-film PV m odules with
cells on a metall ic substrate , may o nly be used i f their coupling ca pacity d oes not
exceed 1uF. Du ring f eed-in o peration, a le akage cu rrent flows from the c el ls to earth,
the si ze of which depend s on the ma nner i n whic h the PV modules are install ed (e. g.
foil on metal roof) and on t he weather (rain, snow) . This “normal” leakage current
may not exceed50m A due to the fact that the inverte r wo uld ot herwise autom atically
disconn ec t from th e electrici ty grid as a protective me asure.

2. 2 Qualification of skilled person

This gri d-tied i nverter sy stem ope rates on ly when p roperly connect ed to the AC

distrib ut ion networ k. Bef ore conn ecting the MIC TL-X to the power distributi on gri d,

contact t he l ocal power di stributio n grid compan y. Thi s connectio n must be made on ly b y

qualifi ed techn ical per sonnel to conn ect, a nd only after receiv ing ap propria te approvals,

as requ ired by the l ocal author ity having ju risdictio n.

The unit conver ts t he D C cu rrent gen erated by t he p hotovolta ic ( PV) modules to
gridcom pl iant al ternating curren t and performs single -phase feed-in into t he elec tr icity
grid. MIC 7 50TL-X,MI C 1000TL-X ,MIC 150 0TL-X,MIC 2000TL-X, MIC 2500TL -X,MIC
3000TL- X, MIC 33 00TL-X in verters are built according to all require d s afety rules.

2. 3 Safety instruction

The MIC TL-X I nv erters is designed and tested according to inte rnat ional safe ty

requirements (IEC 62 109-1,CE, VD E0126-1-1, A S4 777,etc); ho we ver, ce rtain safety

preca utions must be ob served when install ing and op erating this invert er. Read and

follow all instruct ions, ca ut ions and war nings in th is installati on man ual. If questi ons

ØGroun ding the PV modules： The MIC TL-X is a tr ansformer less

inverte r. That is wh y it has no galvanic sep ar ation. Do not ground
the DC ci rcuits of the PV modu les connec ted to the MIC TL-X.
Only grou nd t he m ounting frame of t he P V mo dules.If you
connect grounded PV modules to the MIC TL-X , t he er ror
message " PV I SO Low".

3.4 Storage of Inverter

If you want to stor age th e invert er in your wa rehou se, you should choose an ap propria te
locatio n to s tore th e inverter.

leave our factory in prop er electr ical an d m echanical condit ion. Sp ec ial packag ing
ensures safe and careful transport ation. H ow ever, transpor t damage ma y still o cc ur. T he
shippin g company is responsi bl e in such cases. Th oroughl y inspect the inverter upon

deliver y. Immediat ely n ot ify t he resp onsible shippi ng company if y ou discov er any
damage to th e pack aging wh ich in dicates that the i nverter may ha ve bee n dama ged or if
you di scover any vis ible d amage to the inverte r. We w ill be glad to as sist y ou , if requi red.
When transp orting the inve rter, th e original or equ ivalent pac ka ging should b e us ed, and
the maxim um l ayers for o ri ginal car to n is four, as this ensu res saf e tr ansport .

5.2 Selecting the installation location

This is guid ance for ins taller to ch oose a suita ble ins tallation loca tion, to avo id

Never i nstall the inv erter i n environmen t of little or no a ir fl ow, nor dust

with a powe r of 3 00 W or gre ater must be in terrupted b y the AFCI with in the time
specifi ed b y UL 1699B. A t ri pped AFCI c an o nly be re set manuall y. You can deact ivate
the autom at ic arc fa ult detecti on and interr uption (AFC I) via a commun ication product

9.1 Checking Heat Dissipation
