Getting to know your oven
Pilot on/off light*
This lights up as soon as you activate the timer or on/off switch.
Function selector - Fig.
For selecting the ideal cooking method for your recipe.

Once you have activated the timer and the thermostat is switched on, the pilot light or interior lighting* comes on and the oven is functioning. This allows you to set the cooking time from 0 to 120 minutes. When the programmed time has finished, the timer rings and the oven stops automatically. You can interrupt cooking at any time by returning the timer to zero. For times under 25 minutes, turn the knob to 30 minutes and then bring it back to the required time.

This lets you set the temperature from 80°C to 250°C or 260°C*.

You can change your settings during cooking.
Inside lighting*
So that you can easily see your dishes cooking, your oven is lit continuously as soon as it is in operation, that is as soon as the timer is activated*. When the function selector is placed on the lamp position,

you then also have the option of lighting the inside of the oven without switching on the appliance.*

You can place the rack at 2 different heights. By turning it over, you have 2 additional levels. Refer to the recipes, the position to use for each dish is indicated.

Tips and Features
Choose your ovenware in accordance with the internal measurements of your oven.

Cooking times may vary depending on weight, size or thickness as well as initial temperature of food. They can be changed to suit individual tastes.
5 minutes are enough to reach 240°C so pre-heating is not necessary.
Before using it for the first time
Remove stickers.
The packaging is recyclable , but can be useful for transporting or returning the oven to an approved service centre.
Your oven is fitted with a detachable cord, connect this to the appliance by pressing the connector in firmly - Fig.

Clean the oven and accessories with a damp cloth. Wipe dry. Run your oven for the first time (EMPTY) for 15 minutes, at maximum temperature, to eliminate the smell of newness.
A small amount of smoke may be produced initially, this is perfectly normal and will soon disappear.
Maintenance and cleaning
Do not allow grease to build up in the appliance.
Before any maintenance or cleaning, disconnect the oven and allow it to cool. Clean the door - Fig. , inside walls and enamelled or lacquered surfaces - Fig. with water and washing-up liquid. Dry.
Do not use harsh cleaning products (such as caustic soda cleaning compounds), or scouring sponges, or abrasive pads.
The top grill element folds down and the bottom grill element can be raised in order to facilitate the cleaning of your oven.

Never force to manipulate the top and bottom grill element.
Wipe the side panels with a damp sponge. Wipe dry. All accessories (rack, tray*) are cleaned in water with the addition of detergent or in the dishwasher. The self-cleaning oven wall panels* simplify the cleaning of your oven. After greasy cooking, heat the empty oven to maximum temperature with the door closed for 10 minutes to remove the grease.

For cooking or reheating meat, fish, gratins, soufflés, pastries, etc.
Place the rack at the required height

The oven heats.
Do not put dishes directly onto the hinged bottom heating element.
At the end of cooking
If the programmed cooking time has finished, the oven stops automatically. Otherwise, return the timer or put the on/off switch to zero.*
Defrost function*
For faster and completely natural defrosting of your food.
Up to 60% time gained compared with defrosting normally.
Put the function selector onto the defrost position* - Fig. Put the frozen foods in a dish. Place it on the rack (level 1). Close the oven. Set the timer, defrosting begins - Fig.

Grill function
For browning the tops of dishes or searing meat.
Put the function selectors - Fig. or thermostat - Fig. * onto the grill position.

Pre-heat your oven for 5 minutes. Place food on the rack at the closest possible level to the grill's heating element. Place a plate containing a little water directly onto the bottom heating element (this does not heat in the Grill position), in order to collect the grease or cooking juices.
Always leave the door partly open.
Set the timer as indicated in your recipe -

Fan assisted function*
For uniform cooking of your meals, meat and fish.
Place the rack at the required height
- Fig. and Put your food into the oven and close the door. Put the function selector on to the fan assisted position - Fig. Set the thermostat to the temperature indicated in your recipe - Fig. Set the timer - Fig. Cooking begins.
Do not place dishes directly onto the bottom heating element.
Do not place aluminium foil on the side panels or on the bottom heating element.

For cooking 2 dishes at the same time.
Both dishes must use the same thermostat setting.

Arrange both racks so as to leave enough space between the dishes for the air to circulate and give uniform cooking. Close the oven. Put the function selector on to the fan assisted position - Fig.

For a more uniform appearance, turn your dishes 180° half way through cooking and change the 2 dishes round on the racks.

The indicated cooking times apply only for conventional oven operation. Fan oven* operation is particularly suitable for cooking tarts, gratins, pizzas and all kinds of pastries and cakes. In fan oven* mode, cooking times can be as much as 30% shorter than the times indicated above.

Safety instructions
Take the time to read all instructions and refer to the "User Guide".
This appliance conforms to safety rules and conditions in effect as well as the
following EU directives:
- Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 89/336/EEC amended by Directives 92/31/EEC and 93/68/EEC.
- Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC amended by Directive 93/68/EEC.
As for any cooking appliance, supervise closely if you are using your oven in
the proximity of children.
Bearing in mind the diversity of standards in force, if this appliance is used in a
different country from the one in which it was bought, have it checked by an approved service centre.
Do not move the appliance while it is in use.
Your oven is not designed to be built-in.
Check that the mains voltage is that shown on the appliance (alternating current
only). This appliance must be earthed.
Do not use the appliance if:
- it has a faulty cord,
- the appliance has fallen, shows visible damage or does not function correctly. In this case, the appliance must be sent to the nearest approved after-sales ser­vice centre so as to avoid any danger.
Make sure that the electrical installation is sufficient for supplying an appliance
of this wattage.
Always use an earthed plug (13A) to connect the appliance.
If the cord is detachable, connect it first to the appliance and then to the electri-
city supply.
Do not let the cord hang down or touch hot parts of the oven. Do not discon-
nect the appliance by pulling on the cord.
Only use an extension lead that is in good condition, with an earthed plug and
power cable at least equivalent to the cord supplied with the product.
Disconnect the appliance when not in use and before cleaning it.
So as to avoid electric shocks, do not immerse the electric cord, plug or
appliance in water or any other liquid.
Do not place the appliance close to a heat source.
This electrical appliance operates with high temperatures which could cause
burns. Do not touch metal or glass parts.
The temperature of the door may be high when the appliance is in operation.
Use the handles and knobs. Use oven gloves when necessary.
If any part of the product should catch fire, do not attempt to extinguish with
water. Smother flames with a damp cloth.
Do not keep flammable products close to or under the unit where the appliance
is placed.
Do not operate the appliance under a wall unit, shelf, or close to flammable
materials such as blinds, curtains, drapes, etc…
Do not use the appliance as a source of heat.
Never put paper, cardboard or plastic in the appliance and do not place any-
thing on top (utensils, racks, objects, etc…).
Do not put anything into the air vents, or obstruct them.*
For your own safety, never dismantle the appliance yourself; as this will negate
the guarantee; send to an approved service centre.
This appliance is designed for domestic use only. Any commercial use, inappro-
priate use, or failure to comply with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsability and the guarantee will not apply.
