Einbau des Lautsprechers
Achtung!
an Airbag-Systemen beachtet werden.
Nicht die Kabelverbindungen an der Unterseite des Sitzes trennen. Dies kann eine Airbag Fehlermeldung verursachen,
die nur durch einen BMW-Service gelöscht werden muss. Es ist empfehlenswert vor Beginn der Montage die Batterie-
kontakte aus Sicherheitsgründen zu trennen. Zudem sollten die landespezifischen Gesetze bezüglich jeglicher Arbeiten
Liste der erforderlichen Werkzeuge für die Installation:
Ratsche mit T50 Torx Bit (kann je nach Modell variieren)
Torx-Schraubendreher T10, T15, T20, T25 (kann je nach Modell variieren)
Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher PH 2
Kleiner Schlitzschraubendreher
Dieser Abschnitt enthält einige Informationen zum Einbau des GZCS 200BMW-SW4. Als Beispiel dient ein BMW E87. Andere
Fahrzeuge können sich je nach Modell, Baujahr und Ausstattung davon unterscheiden.
1 - Sitz ausbauen
4 Schrauben entfernen, die die Sitzschienen am Boden befestigen.
Nachdem alle Schrauben entfernt wurden, den Sitz vorsichtig nach hinten klappen, um Zugang zum Subwoofer zu haben.
2 - Subwoofer-Abdeckung ausbauen
Abdeckung ausbauen, um den Subwoofer freizulegen.
3 - Subwoofer ausbauen
Die Schrauben lösen, die den Subwoofer in Position halten. Den Subwoofer aus der Mulde im Boden herausheben und den
Original-Stecker abstecken.
4 - Subwoofer einbauen
Den Original-Stecker in den GZCS 200BMW-SW4 einstecken. Den neuen Subwoofer in das Gehäuse setzen und mit den
Originalschrauben befestigen.
5 - Subwoofer-Abdeckung wieder anbringen
Nachdem der Subwoofer wieder eingesteckt und befestigt wurde, die Subwoofer-Abdeckung mit den Originalschrauben
anbringen.
6 - Sitz wieder einbauen
Nachdem die Subwoofer-Abdeckung installiert und gesichert wurde, den Sitz wieder auf dem Boden positionieren. Die
Originalbolzen nach den Anleitungen des Herstellers anziehen.

Don´t unplug wires from the bottom of the seat. This could lead to an airbag failure and requires the BMW service to
reset. As a precaution, it is recommended to disconnect the vehicle’s battery previously to the installation (check the car´s
owner’s manual for further information). Furthermore, the country specific laws for operations at airbag-systems must be

Ratchet with T50 Torx (may vary according to the model)

This section focuses on some of the vehicle considerations for installing the GZCS 200BMW-SW4. For the purpose of this
manual, the vehicle shown as reference is a BMW E87. Other vehicles may differ depending on model, year and options.
1 - Seat Removal
Remove the bolts that hold the seat track to the floor.
Once all of the bolts are removed, tilt the seat back to provide access to the subwoofer.
2 - Subwoofer cover removal
Remove cover to expose subwoofer.
3 - Subwoofer removal
Remove the screws that hold the subwoofer in place. Lift the subwoofer out of the housing and unplug the factory harness.
4 - Subwoofer installation
Plug factory harness into the GZCS 200BMW-SW4. Place the new subwoofer into the housing and use the factory screws to
mount it.
5 - Reinstall subwoofer cover
Once you have the subwoofer plugged in and mounted securely, reattach the subwoofer cover using the factory screws.
6 – Reinstall seat
After you have the subwoofer cover installed and secure, place the seat back down onto the floor. Tighten the factory bolts to
manufacturer’s specs.

Für den Fall, dass der originale Lautsprecherstecker voll belegt sein sollte (4 Pins und Kabel), müssen die äußeren Kabel (Zuleitungen zu
den Türlautsprechern) mit den innenliegenden Kabeln (Signal vom Verstärker kommend) wie in der Zeichnung zu sehen verbunden werden.
In case of full wiring on the original speaker plug (4 pins and wires), the two outer wires (outgoing signal to door speakers) have to be
connected to the inner wires (incoming signal) according to the attached drawing.
