Living up to its name, the AXIOM 60/125 provides the solid
foundation in which to build an exceptional sound system. At
only 2U high, the AXIOM 60/125 is a high fidelity commercial
audio amplifier that pumps 60/125 watts of continuous RMS
power direct into 4-8 ohm or transformer isolated 25V and
70.7V lines.
Engineered for all-in-one telephone paging solutions, the
AXIOM 60/125 includes a balanced 600 ohm/Tel-Page input
(tamper resistant) that is capable of muting two aux inputs
(defeatable), which are strapped in parallel. It’s packed with
safeguards to ensure long-life, including: short circuit, peak
overload, current limiting, thermal runaway, and output relay

AXIOM 60 & AXIOM 125
The power amplifier shall be a
Grommes~Precision Electronics, Inc.
model AXIOM 60/125. The power
amplifier shall provide 60/125 watts of
continuous, monaural RMS power into a
direct coupled 8 ohm, 25V, or 70.7V
lines. The 25V and 70.7V output shall be
supplied through a fully isolated output
transformer. Total harmonic distortion at
rated output shall be less than or equal to
0.15%. The frequency response for 8
ohm output shall be 20Hz to 20kHz, +0
to –1 dB. The frequency response for
25V and 70.7V output shall be 50Hz to
15kHz, +0 to –1dB. Hum and noise shall
be at least 90dB below rated output
unweighted.
The inputs shall be: a Tel-Page, a 600
ohm, and two high impedance inputs,
strapped in parallel.

Architects Specifications
The input sensitivity required to
receive full rated output shall be: TelPage - 50mV, 600 ohm - 0.50V, and HiZ - 0.50V. The input impedance shall be
Tel-Page - 600 ohm, 600 ohm - 600 ohm,
and Hi-Z - 10K ohm.
The front panel shall include a power
indicator, power switch, peak level
indicator, circuit breaker reset plunger,
gain control, and be rack mounted as
standard.
The back panel shall include input
connectors, screw terminals, for both the
Tel-Page and 600 ohm inputs, phono
(RCA) connectors for both Hi-Z inputs.
Output connectors shall be screw barrier
strip.
An output switch shall connect the
output transformer in circuit for 25V and
70.7V line outputs and also switch in a
low cut filter that begins to roll-off at 120
Hz. Also a 2 ampere maximum
convenience outlet shall also be on the
back panel.
The power amplifier shall be available in
either 120VAC 60Hz or 240VAC 50Hz
versions (add DV to the model). The
maximum power consumption of the unit
shall be 720W.
The unit shall measure 19”W x 3.5”H
x 11”D (48.2cm x 8.8cm x 27.9cm). The
unit shall weigh, 60 watt - 17lbs (7.7kg)
and 125 watt - 20lbs (9.1 kg). The unit
shall include a full 3 year warranty be
designed and manufactured in the United
States of America.
