Introduction
The T34091 9-Drawer Euro-Style Butcher Block
Workbench measures 80" wide, 30" deep, 34
tall and is made of solid hevea wood. This model
includes nine felt-lined drawers with ball bearing
slides, and a 1
also includes a recessed tool well, a side vise
with 12" clamping capacity, a front vise with 4
clamping capacity, and a built-in storage shelf.

Assembly
Wear safety glasses during
the entire setup process!

To assemble workbench:
1. Position left and right workbench legs roughly
48" apart, as shown in Figure 4.
3. Square workbench frame and fully tighten
fasteners from Step 2.
4. Fasten handles to all 9 drawers using (18)
M4-.7 x 40 Phillips head screws, as shown in
FIgure 6.

2. Attach (4) cross beams to workbench legs
with (8) M12-1.75 x 120 hex bolts, (8) 12mm
flat washers, and (8) M12-1.75 hex nuts, as
shown in Figure 5. Do not fully tighten.

5. Remove middle drawers on right and left
sides of cabinet (see Figure 7).
Note: To remove drawers, locate release
tabs on right and left sides of drawer slides
(see Figure 7). Simultaneously push down
on right tab and pull up on left to release locking mechanism, then gently pull drawer out of
cabinet.

6. With help from an assistant, position drawer
cabinet between cross beams, and secure
to workbench frame with (2) M4 x 30 tap
screws, as shown in Figure 8.

7. Re-install drawers removed in Step 5.
Feed front vise leadscrew assembly through

front vise head and attach with (4) M6 x 30
tap screws (see Figure 10).

Insert front vise assembly into holes in front

Note: Ball bearing strips are delicate. Ensure
roller rails and drawer slides are correctly
aligned to avoid damage to bearings.
8. Place workbench top on workbench frame
and secure with (4) M8 x 80 lag bolts and (4)
8mm flat washers (see Figure 9).

Thread vise through leadscrew plate, then

tighten until vise head makes contact with
workbench.
12. Thread (2) M8-1.25 x 15 hex bolts and (2)
8mm fender washers into back of vise rods
(see Figure 12).
