Using Milling Sled
Mount the Model T32841 on the tracks of the T32838 Bandsaw Sled to smoothly feed logs across the table of your bandsaw.

Rest workpiece on milling sled, aligning blade
4.
with intended line of cut (see Figure 4).
Secure workpiece with claw hold-downs by
5.
inserting them into slots in milling sled (see
Figure 4).
Note: Hinge rods should extend up through
holes in claw hold-downs (see Figure 4).
To reduce risk of eye injury from flying chips or lung damage from breathing dust, always wear safety glasses and a respirator when operating bandsaw.

8. Make note of where pointer points on bandsaw sled rail (see Figure 8).
10. Move bandsaw sled handle down to lock
position.
Push workpiece forward through a test cut.
11.
Workpiece must clear blade before any portion of milling table extends off of bandsaw sled rear.
If workpiece is too long to cut without milling sled leaving bandsaw sled, milling sled and workpiece can easily tip off of bandsaw sled. Body parts could be pulled into moving blade or pinched/crushed if caught under falling workpiece. Use roller table (or other method of workpiece support) or cut down workpiece to more manageable length.
Adjust sled back to measurement noted in
12. Step 8 and secure it in place for cut.
Connect bandsaw to power, turn bandsaw
13.
ON, then slide table forward on sled to feed workpiece through blade and complete cut.
