INSTRUCTION SHEET
Operation
1. Lower the moving plate so it is parallel to the
workbench.
2. Mark the desired location of your bend on the workpiece.
Introduction
This light-duty bender will easily and quickly form sheet metal up to 22 gauge.
Setup
1. The unpainted surfaces are coated with a
waxy oil to protect them from corrosion during shipment. Remove this protective coating with a solvent cleaner or citrus-based degreaser such as Grizzly’s G7895 Degreaser.
2. This bender MUST be mounted to a work bench or stan

3. Position the workpiece so the mark is aligned with the back edge of the support plate (the seam where both plates meet).
4. Clamp the press plate on the workpiece using two to four C-clamps (see Figure 2). C-clamps are not included. Use the lead ing edge of the press plate for sharp, crisp bends or turn the leading edge over for softer, smoother bends.
5. With steady even movement and pressure, lift the handles together to bend the workpiece to the desired angle as shown in Figure 2
