Wood / Material moisture measuring case
SET 38 HF
Scope of delivery
Measuring cable GMK38
Impact electrode GSE91 with steel pins GST91
Temperature probe GTF38
Transportation case GKK3500
ATTENTION when using the impact electrode GSE91! Risk of injury!
Intended purpose:
The Impact electrode is only allowed to be used for moisture measuring of wood and materials that are soft enough, not damaging the electrode’s steel needles, when punching in the electrode. The connection is done via 4mm banana plugs. Only suitable steel needles are allowed to be used. The impact electrode can be used for measuring insulating materials, splinters, etc. with the GMS300/91 measuring pins (accessories).
Insert needles into the needle-holder (2) and tighten with a flat wrench (wrench size 12 mm). Its essential to verify that the needles are tightened well enough before punching the electrode into materials.
Knocking onto the unscrewing-shaft (1) with a hammer will punch the electrodes into the wood. Beforehand, turn back the unscrewing-shaft (1) until its not overlapping the needle-holder.
Always punch the electrode in upright, when not doing so, the needles may bend/break.
Bent needles should be replaced for safety reasons.
Pulling out tight needles: Try not affecting the needles by lever action, because they may bend/break. By screwing in the unscrewing-shaft (1) the needles will be pulled out gently and comfortably.
Always keep the impact electrode and the connections/plugs clean, because measurements might be falsified when not doing so.
