T-249 electrical transformer is used to supply low voltage
power to operate control equipment. This transformer
converts primary voltage of 480V/277V, 240V/208V, to
secondary voltage of 120V. T-249 is shipped loose and
is provided with a plate on the primary side for mounting
on a standard 4 in. outlet box. For hookup to 3 phase
primary source, connect common (white) and one other
wire (same voltage as 3 phase source) to any 2 legs of the
3 phase source for 1 phase 120 volt secondary output. This
transformer is NEMA 1 for indoor use only.

Note: Transformers are shipped loose.
