IMPORTANT INFORMATION

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

This luminaire is water resistant to IP65 but it
is advisable, wherever possible, to locate it in
a sheltered location. No modification should
be made to the casing to preserve the
moisture properties and warranty.
This appliance comes with a short length of
flex and this can not be removed or replaced
in order to keep the waterproofing benefits.
The flex should be connected to a waterproof
connector if this is likely to be in an outside
location. Should the flex become damaged it
should be replaced with cable of the same
specification and only by a competent person.
To avoid a heat build up it is advisable a clear
air gap around the luminaire and the front
face should be at least 500mm away from any
combustible surface. The supplied bracket
should be used at all times for mounting.
This fitting is supplied pre-wired with 0.9M of
three core cable (Live, Neutral and Earth).

ADJUSTING THE LUX CONTROL LEVEL

The Lux control module has a built-in
sensing device photocell that detects
daylight and darkness.
(

) position denotes that the lamp will be
turned on by the PIR during day and night.
( ) position denotes that the lamp will be
turned on by PIR only at night.
You can set to operate the unit at the
desired level by adjusting the LUX knob.

ADJUSTING THE DURATION TIME

The duration time is “the length of time that
the PIR Detector switches the load ‘on’ after
activation”. The duration time can be
adjusted from approx 10+

5 seconds up to

10+2 minutes. Rotating the TIME knob from

(+) to (-) will reduce the duration time.

MAINTENANCE:

Keep the glass front clean with a soft cloth.
There are no user serviceable parts
contained within fitting. Any disassembly or
modification will invalidate the warranty.

DISPOSAL:

At the end of the product’s life this product
must not be disposed of in landfill.
Local recycling guidance should be sought
for disposal. There are no hazardous
materials contained therein.
