SAFETY
Use this transformer in conjunction
ith any of the KingShield Hard Wired
w
Doorchimes when you want to have an
illuminated door push.
For use with illuminated doorpushes or
when converting a doorpush to an
illuminated push.
Please read the instructions fully before
attempting installation. Disconnect electrical
supply before installing.
This unit should be installed by a
competent person in accordance with the
current IEE Wiring Regulations.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
INSTALLATION
This transformer is designed to to be
DIN rail mounted.
1. Connect mains cable to Mains in
terminals and secure cable to prevent
movement. Mains in should be
supplied by a 3A fuse or M.C.B, see
Fig .1 below.

2. Connect the chime bellwire to the 8V
terminals on the transformer and
terminals D and C on a KingShield
wired doorchime. See Fig.2 below.
This gives the required 8V output.

3. Switch the power on to transformer
and check operation.
