This manual ensures safe and efficient use of the “thermio™ eco ECOsave” multi-tariff timer with boost
function (referred to as “device” in the following). This manual is a component of the device and must
remain accessible at all times for everyone who uses the device.
Everyone who uses the device must have read and understood this manual before commencing any
work. The basic prerequisite for working safely is compliance with all safety instructions and usage
instructions specified in this manual. Furthermore, the local accident prevention regulations and the
general safety regulations in the area in which the device is operated apply.

The “thermio™ eco ECOsave” multi-tariff timer switches the connected loads on or off in defined steps;
the smallest possible switching time is 15 minutes. This makes it possible to individually adjust heating
periods to times with lower cost electricity tariffs, for example; the standard local electricity tariffs are
set by default. The BOOST rotary switch and button can be used to switch on the device for a defined
period, independently of the set switching program. Four BOOST periods can be set: 15 min, 30 min,
60 min or 120 min.

Intended use
The “thermio™ eco ECOsave” multi-tariff timer is used exclusively for switching immersion heaters
(individual, twin or dual immersion heaters) with a resistance load of up to 3 kW. The connected devices
must comply with the limits specified in the technical data.
The intended use also includes compliance with all information specified in this manual.
Any use other than the intended use is considered incorrect use. The legal warranty is voided by any
interference with, or modifications to, the device.

Damage to the timer due to incorrect installation position!
If an unsuitable installation position is selected, the timer may be damaged.

− Only use the timer in dry rooms and do not install close to devices with
inductive discharge (motors, transformers etc.).
