ROLL PIN INSTRUCTIONS

In your kit you will find either one (1) or two (2) roll pins. These
are for the purpose of canceling the turn signal mechanism
when the factory cam assembly cannot be used with the
Grant custom hub. These pins, when properly inserted into
the back of the custom hub, must match the position and
depth of the pins or cam on your original whee l. The slot in
the pins must face inward (toward the center of the shaft).
Before inserting the pins into the hub too far, mount the
custom hub on the shaft and check for proper clearance a nd
turn signal operation.

Turn the hub/wheel in both directions. In the event the roll
pins touch or rub on the canceling mechanism while the
turn signals are in neutral (off) position you will need to
bend the pins in the necessary direction so that they
clear without touching. Failure to perform this adjustment
(if needed) will cause damage to your mechanism.

On some vehicles, it will be necessary to bend the horn

contact brush toward you. This brush is located in the steering
column next to the turn signal mechanism. After bending the
contact, place the custom hub onto shaft and check to see
that the horn contact is touching the contact ring on the
custom hub.
