7921R / 7931R: BATH SEAT ASSEMBLY & OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

Bath Seat. If you do not understand any part of these warnings, cautions or instructions, contact a healthcare professional for direction in the use of this product. If the Bath Seat is not properly assembled and adjusted, personal injury and damage to the Bath Seat could result.
WARNING: If components are damaged or missing, contact your dealer immediately. DO NOT use
substitute parts. Use only Lumex replacement parts. Non-Lumex replacement parts could cause personal injury and damage to the Bath Seat.
WARNING: This product has a weight limit of 350 lb.
WARNING: DO NOT use this product as a transfer bench or climbing device.

ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the Bath Seat from the box and place it on a at, dry surface.

2. Locate the seat legs (see gure 1).
3. Locate the shortest screw knob and a curved washer (see gure 2).
4. Lay legs in “X” pattern over seat bottom (see gures 3 and 4).
WARNING:Legsmustbepositionedexactlyasshowningure3forasafeandpropert.
5. Install curved washer on screw knob. Fasten legs to seat by inserting screw knob through center leg holes into seat and turning screw knob clockwise. Ensure screw knob is tight without overtightening.
WARNING: Ensure legs are securely installed and all hardware is tight before proceeding.
Note: If you are assembling 7921R (with backrest), proceed to step 6. If you are assembling 7931R (without backrest), proceed to step 8b.
6. Locate backrest tubes, backrest, four screw knobs, and four curved washers (see gure 5).
7. See gure 6. Install curved washers on screw knobs. Install backrest tubes on backrest. Attach backrest tubes to back­rest by inserting screw knobs through backrest holes into backrest and turning the screw knobs clockwise. Ensure screw

knobs are tight without overtightening.
Caution: Do not overtighten screw knobs.

8. Locate the four remaining screw knobs and curved washers.
a. 7921R (with backrest): The screw knobs will attach the backrest and
outer legs to the seat. Install curved washers on screw knobs. Lay seat upside down on at surface as shown in gure 7. Lay backrest tubes on leg assembly, aligning holes. Insert screw knobs through backrest tube holes, through leg assembly holes, and into seat bottom. Secure by turning screw knobs clockwise; ensure screw knobs are tight without overtightening.
b. 7931R (without backrest): The screw knobs will attach the outer legs
to the outer seat. Lay seat upside down on at surface. Insert screw knobs through leg assembly holes and into seat bottom. Secure by turning screw knobs clockwise; ensure screw knobs are tight without overtightening.
9. Attach leg extensions by pushing in the adjustment button, inserting leg extension into leg, and moving to the desired height position — you will hear it click into place (see gure 8, 7921R; or gure 9, 7931R).
12. Ensure that legs are locked at the same height, all leg adjustment buttons protrude fully through adjustment holes, and all screw knobs are tight. Contact your GF distributor immediately if you see any issue with t, form, function, or safety.

OPERATION
WARNING: Ensure all Bath Seat components are secure before each
use.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Check the Bath Seat weekly for signs of damage or crack-
ing. If damage or cracking of any component of the Bath Seat is found, DO NOT use the Bath Seat. Contact your Graham-Field provider.
Inspect the Bath Seat weekly and tighten knobs as needed to ensure proper installation.
To clean the Bath Seat, wash it with soap and water or a mild detergent, then rinse. Ensure that the Bath Seat is rinsed well before use.

WARRANTY
GF Health Products, Inc. warrants the Lumex Bath Seat as follows:
Limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defects. If a product is deemed to be under warranty, GF Health Products, Inc. shall provide, at its option, (1) replacement of any defective part or product or (2) a credit of the original selling price made to GF Health Products, Inc.’s initial customer. The warranty does not include any labor charges incurred in replacement part(s) installation or any associated freight or ship­ping charges to GF Health Products, Inc.
