Charging the Battery
To charge the battery: (Numbers refer to diagram on page 5) Connect the AC adapter cable to the DC 5V socket (15) located at the back of the Crystal and plug the adapter into a suitable power socket. The battery takes approx 1 ½ hours to charge.
Please note: The battery compartment on the rear of the unit is normally empty and can be used to fit a replacement should the internal battery fail. It can also be used to fit an additional battery if required. Which will double the playing time after charging Graff Part No TN00005
Remove the battery cover and Insert the new battery as shown.

Memory Stick Insertion
Align the memory stick with the USB connector on top of the Crystal and insert. If the memory stick does not insert easily, rotate it 180 degrees and try again. To avoid damage to the connector, never insert the memory stick at an angle. Playback will begin if the memory stick is inserted correctly.

SD Card Insertion
Position the card with the cut-off corner at the bottom left hand side. Align the SD card with the SD card slot with the Crystal speakers facing towards you. Gently push the card vertically downwards into the slot until it reaches the bottom do not use force. Playback will begin if the card is inserted correctly.
Operating the Crystal as a Speaker
The Crystal can be used as a speaker for portable devices such as mobile phones and MP3 players.
