The Hawkeye®Angled Eyepiece AE-9003
allows the user to look into a borescope eyepiece from the side. This is useful when there is insufficient room for the user’s head, or the eyepiece may be inaccessible.
It will mount onto any borescope with a standard eyecup, including the vast majority of existing borescopes. A few models with unique eyecups are not compatible.

Coupling to the Borescope
Place the “corner” of the AE-9003 against the palm of your hand.
Grasp the grooved ring with your fingers and pull it back toward your palm.
Push the borescope’s eyecup into the housing and release the locking ring. Reverse to remove the borescope.
Focusing
Before you couple the AE-9003 and the borescope, focus the AE-9003 on a distant object by rotating the eyecup. Then focus the borescope at a similar distance to your subject.Couple them together and make the fine focus adjustments with the AE-9003 eyepiece.
Rotation
The eyepiece of the AE-9003 rotates independently of the body (locking ring). It may be turned over 360° without having to turn the borescope.
