NEVER PLACE THIS BOOSTER SEAT IN A
VEHICLE SEATING LOCATION THAT HAS AN AIR BAG. If an air
Eag inflates, it can hit the child and Eooster seat with great force and
cause serious injury or death to your child. Refer to your Yehicle owner¶s manual for information aEout air Eags and Eooster seat installation.

According to accident statistics, CHILDREN
ARE SAFER WHEN PROPERLY RESTRAINED IN REAR VEHICLE SEATING POSITIONS, RATHER THAN FRONT SEATING POSITIONS. For a Yehicle
with a front passenger air Eag, refer to your Yehicle owners manual as well as these instructions for Eooster seat installation.
NEVER LEAVE YOUR CHILD
UNATTENDED.
NEVER LEAVE A BOOSTER SEAT
UNSECURED IN YOUR VEHICLE. An
unsecured Eooster seat can Ee thrown around and may injure occupants in a sharp turn, sudden stop or crash. Attach with the CONNEXT
®
connectors to make sure that it is securely Eelted in the Yehicle or remoYe it.
REPLACE THE BOOSTER SEAT AFTER
AN ACCIDENT OF ANY KIND. An accident
can cause damage to the Eooster seat that you cannot see.
DO NOT MODIFY YOUR BOOSTER SEAT
or use any accessories or parts supplied Ey other manufacturers.

NEVER USE BOOSTER SEAT IF IT HAS
DAMAGED OR MISSING PARTS. DO NOT
use a cut, frayed or damaged Yehicle seat Eelt.
THE BOOSTER SEAT CAN BECOME VERY
HOT IF LEFT IN THE SUN. Contact with these parts can Eurn your childs skin. Always touch the surface of any metal or plastic parts Eefore putting your child in the Eooster seat.

Weight and Height Limits
FAILURE TO USE Eooster seat in a manner appropriate for your childs size may increase the risk of serious injury or death.
To use this Graco Eooster seat, your child MUST meet ALL of the following requirements:
appro[imately 4 to 10 years old
weigh Eetween 40 and 100 lEs.
(mass Eetween 18 and 45 kg), and
are Eetween 40 and 57 inches
(101 and 145 cm) in height, and
the shoulder Eelt MUST
lie across child¶s shoulders in red zone as shown in and the lap portion is positioned low on the childs hips, and
when sitting on the Eooster
seat, your child¶s ears are Eelow the top of the Yehicle seat cushion / head rest.

Vehicle Seat Location Requirements
IMPROPER PLACEMENT OF THE BOOSTER SEAT INCREASES THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. Some seating positions in
your Yehicle may NOT Ee safe for this Eooster seat. Some Yehicles do not haYe any seating positions that can Ee used safely with the Eooster seat. If you are not sure where to place the Eooster seat in your Yehicle, consult your Yehicle owners manual or call Graco Children's Products Inc., at 1-800-345-4109.
Children are safer when properly restrained in
rear vehicle seating positions. WheneYer possiEle
secure the Graco Eooster seat in the center position of the seat directly Eehind the front seats. HoweYer, this position is often equipped with a lap Eelt only and cannot Ee used.
The Yehicle seat MUST face forward.

Vehicle Seat Belt Requirements
MANY SEAT BELT SYSTEMS ARE NOT SAFE TO USE WITH THE BOOSTER SEAT.
Pay careful attention to these systems; some of the seat Eelts that are NOT safe to use look Yery much like seat Eelts that are safe to use. If you are unsure,

ONLY A LAP/SHOULDER BELT SYSTEM CAN BE USED WITH THIS BOOSTER SEAT, IF
the seat location meets all other requirements of these instructions and those in your Yehicle owner's manual.

lap-only Eelt.

Passive Restraint ­Lap or Shoulder Belt Mounted on Door
NEVER use a
Passive Restraint ­Lap Belt with Motorized Shoulder Belt
NEVER use Yehicle
Eelts that are attached to the door in any way or that moYe along a track to automatically surround the passenger when the door is closed.

Vehicle Eelts MUST lie flat against child and MUST not Ee twisted.
DO NOT use shoulder Eelt loose or positioned under child¶s arm .

armrests . It must pass

Make sure vehicle belt is NOT twisted.
Lap portion of lap/shoulder belt MUST be low and snug on hips, just touching thighs.
DO NOT allow child

Attaching Booster to Vehicle Seat
WARNING! Use only
the Yehicle¶s lap and shoulder Eelt system when restraining the child in this Eooster seat.
CONNEXT are ONLY to secure the Eooster seat to the Yehicle seat.
When using the CONNEXT® connectors, DO NOT place Eooster seat off-center of the Yehicle anchors.
