Please fill in the model and serial numbers above from the label on the rear leg of your new stroller.
Models 7980 and 7990
Stroller
Use of the stroller with two children weighing a total of more than 80 lbs. (36.2 kg) will cause excessive wear and stress on the stroller. The weight in either seat should not exceed 40 lbs. (18.1 kg).
TO PREVENT A HAZARDOUS CONDITION, do not place more than 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) in the storage basket or more than 2 lbs. (0.9 kg) in the canopy bag.
DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD to stand on the basket. It may collapse and cause injury.
NEVER ALLOW YOUR STROLLER to be used as a toy.
STROLLER TO BE USED only at walking speed. Product not intended for use
while jogging, skating, etc.
AVOID STRANGULATION. DO NOT place items with a string around your childs neck, suspend strings from this product, or attach strings to toys.
DISCONTINUE USING YOUR STROLLER should it become damaged or broken.
THIS PRODUCT IS NOT INTENDED FOR COMMERCIAL USE.
Child may slip into leg openings and strangle. Never use in a reclined carriage position unless front footrest is raised to cover the front opening and wire snapped into lower notch. For rear seat recline, snap flap in six (6) places to back of front seat.
Never place child in the stroller with head toward front of the stroller.
Failure to follow these warnings and the assembly
instructions could result in serious injury or death.
Never use stroller on stairs or escalators. You may suddenly lose control of the stroller or your child may fall out. Also, use extra care when going up or down a step or curb.

Helpful Hints and Care and Maintenance sections in these instructions.
Avoid possible tipping back. When using with only one child, always use front seat. When using with two children, always place the child in the front seat before placing the other child in the rear seat. Always remove the child from the rear seat before removing the child from the front seat.

Step 2.
Be sure frame is latched as shown before continuing assembly.
Step 1.
Snap swivel lock button onto wheel mount as shown. This must be done BEFORE pin is inserted (next step).
Step 2.
Insert pin through hole in wheel mount. Then push round end of a front wheel assembly up onto pin as shown until it snaps into place.
NOTE: Check wheel attachment by pulling down on the front wheel assembly.
Step 3.
Repeat above steps for the other side.
Step 1.
Turn stroller over as shown.
Step 2.
Unsnap the basket flap from the rear brace, and slide rear axle through the hole in one axle bracket.
Continue to push the rear axle into the hole of the other axle bracket.
Step 3.
Snap the basket flap around both the rear axle and the rear brace.
HINT: This may be easier if stroller is partially folded. See To Fold Stroller instructions.

To Unfold Stroller
Step 1.
Release storage latch (on inside of handle on right side of stroller).
Step 2.
Unfold stroller as shown.
Be certain the stroller is fully erected
and latched before allowing your child near the stroller.

To Unpack Stroller
Step 1.
Flatten stroller carton to protect floor.
Open stroller on carton as shown until latched.

Snap red retainer into axle groove. Then snap cap over red retainer as shown. Be sure cap
is snapped securely over red retainer. Snap
the hubcap (only on some models) on last.
Step 4.
Place one rear wheel, red retainer, cap, and hubcap (only on certain models) on one end of rear axle in order as shown below. Push red retainer onto axle BEFORE attaching white cap. Repeat on other side.

Step 1.
Push ends of bar into open­ings at front of stroller, until the bar locks in place.
Pull on bar to be sure both sides are attached.
NOTE: It is normal to be able to wiggle bar slightly.
Step 2.
Snap fabric flap onto the bar.

To Change to Swivel or Non-swivel Wheels
Front swivel wheels lock for use on uneven surfaces such as grass, stones or gravel.
NOTE: Before locking swivels, first push stroller forward a few feet to ensure that the wheels are correctly positioned.
Push buttons up or down, depending on model, to lock or release swivels. Turn swivel to check that it is locked or released.

Step 2.
Turn down fabric flaps to cover openings.
Step 3.
When replacing the bar, turn back fabric flaps to expose openings, then push arm bar in until it locks in place.
Pull on bar to be sure both sides are attached.

Step 1.
Place crotch strap between childs legs and snap both side buckles to the center buckle. Adjust belt as needed to get a snug fit around your child.
Step 2.
Push in on front of buckle to release.
To Secure Your Child

Unsnap small flaps on top of armrests.
Step 3.
Check that arrows on inside of canopy brackets face the front of the stroller.
Step 4.
Insert brackets through elastic, then through holes on armrests as shown.
Step 5.
Push both brackets down at the same time onto stroller frame until they snap into place. Brackets must fit over metal bars on inside of frame. Be sure fabric is not caught under brackets.
Step 6.
Resnap small flaps on armrests when front canopy is not in use.
To Install Front Canopy (found only on some models)

To Adjust Canopies
Push or pull canopy to desired position.
Canopy bag (on certain models) carries a maximum of 2 pounds (0.9 kg).
To Adjust Backs
Step 1.
Push back of seat slightly forward while squeezing lever as shown to unlock.
Step 2.
Adjust to desired position. Rear seat has four positions, front seat has three. You may use any combination of seat positions.
Do not pull on this bar!
Step 3.
To return seat back to a more upright position, push forward on back until it snaps into desired position. (Front seat middle position locks for safetyunlock by squeezing lever before pushing into full upright position.)

To Install Rear Canopy
Step 1.
Fully recline the rear seat. Locate small knobs on the inside of the handle.
Step 2.
Hold canopy by mounting brackets as shown. Push brackets in slightly and align holes in brackets with knobs on handle. Mount brackets onto knobs.
Step 3.
Slide brackets down to latch.
Be sure fabric is not caught under brackets.
Step 4.
Snap canopy fabric to seat back.

Step 1.
Fully recline the rear seat.
Step 2.
Unsnap canopy fabric from stroller.
Step 3.
Slide both brackets up, then push brackets in slightly to remove canopy.

To Fold Stroller
NOTE: Before folding, (1) adjust backs to upright posi­tion; (2) fold canopy; (3) lock rear brakes; (4) align front wheels with frame by pulling stroller slightly backward.
Step 1.
Pull up on latches on sides of handle to fold as shown and push handle forward slightly.
Step 2.
Push down on secondary lock on right side of stroller as shown.
Continue pushing handle forward. Front wheels must align so they do not interfere with folding.

Lock storage latch (on inside of handle on right side of stroller).

Push in the tabs on both sides of the bar as shown. Pull the bar straight out.
