The lightning ash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage" within the product's enclosure that may be of sufcient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing)
instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.
This product utilizes a Class 1 laser to read Com-
pact Discs. This laser Compact Disc Player is
equipped with safety switches to avoid exposure when the CD door is open and the safety interlocks are defeated. Invisible laser radiation is present when the CD Player’s lid is open and the system’s interlock has failed or been defeated. It is very im­portant that you avoid direct exposure to the laser beam at all times. Please do not attempt to defeat or bypass the safety switches.
Main plug is used as disconnect device and it should remain readily operable during intended use.
Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc) batteries.

10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly
at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from
the apparatus.
12. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specied by the
manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power­supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

TV mode, press to go to the previous channel.
SLEEP
Press repeatedly to set the sleep timer. After the set sleep time has expired the LCD tele­vision will power off.
CHANNEL
Press to change the LCD televi­sions channel.
AUDIO
Press to cycle through available audio options for the loaded DVD.
SUBTITLE
Press to cycle through available subtitle options for the loaded DVD.

Power
Plug the attached AC cord into a standard AC power outlet to power the LCD television.
Remote Power
Requires 2 AAA batteries, included. Insert the included AAA batteries into the
remote control to power the remote.

TELEVISION SETUP
Connecting a TV Antenna
Requires a TV antenna, not included. 1 Connect a VHF, UHF, or HDTV antenna to the
TV ANTENNA on the LCD television.
2 Press the SOURCE button and adjust the
INPUT SOURCE to “TV”.
3 Press the MENU button to access the
Setup Menu.
4 Press the DIRECTION () buttons to
select the CHANNEL tab.
5 Press the DIRECTION () buttons to
select AIR/CABLE. Press the DIRECTION () buttons to select AIR.
6 Press the DIRECTION () buttons
to select AUTO SCAN. Press the ENTER button.
7 Press the DIRECTION () buttons to
select START TO SCAN. Press the ENTER button.
Connecting a Set-Top Box
Requires a Set-Top Box, not included.
If your Set-Top Box has an HDMI Output:
1 Connect the HDMI Output on the Set-
Top Box to the HDMI INPUT on the LCD television.
If your Set-Top Box has an Video Output:
1 Connect the Video Output on the Set-
Top Box to the COMPOSITE VIDEO INPUT on the LCD television. Connect the Audio Output on the Set-Top Box to the AUDIO INPUT on the LCD television.
After connecting your Set-Top Box:
2 Press the SOURCE button and adjust
the INPUT SOURCE to “VIDEO” or “HDMI” to match the connection.
Connecting Basic Cable
Because the LCD television is HDTV only, basic cable can only be connected through a set­top box. Requires a basic cable connection and set-top box, not included.
1 Follow the instructions for connecting a
set-top box.

Scanning for Channels
After connecting your TV Antenna or Basic Cable you need to scan for channels before you’ll be able to watch any television.
1 Connect a TV Antenna or Basic Cable to
the LCD television.
2 Press the SOURCE button and adjust the
INPUT SOURCE to “TV”.
3 Press the MENU button to access the
Setup Menu.
4 Press the DIRECTION () buttons to
select the CHANNEL tab.
5 Press the DIRECTION () buttons
to select AUTO SCAN. Press the ENTER button.
6 Press the DIRECTION () buttons to
select START TO SCAN. Press the ENTER button.
Your LCD television will automatically begin scanning for available channels.
NTSC analog channels will not be scanned.

Channel List View
1 Press the SOURCE button and adjust the
INPUT SOURCE to “TV”.
2 Press the LIST button, on the remote, to
view a list of available channels.
Unless you are using a Set-Top Box, you must auto scan for channels before being able to view channels in list view.
Adding Favorites
1 Press the SOURCE button and adjust the
INPUT SOURCE to “TV”.
2 Press the MENU button to access the
Setup Menu.
3 Press the DIRECTION () buttons to
select the CHANNEL tab.
4 Press the DIRECTION () buttons to
select FAVORITES. Press the ENTER button.
Parental Controls (V-Chip)
1 Press the SOURCE button and adjust the
INPUT SOURCE to “TV”. 2 Press the MENU button. 3 Press the DIRECTION () buttons,
select LOCK, and press the ENTER button. 4 The default passcode for the parental lock
is: 0 0 0 0 5 Enter the passcode to access the LOCK
preferences. 6 From this menu, you can lock specic
ratings from the United States rating
system or the Canadian rating system by
turning the SYSTEM LOCK to ON. 7 Press the V-CHIP button on the remote
and enter the passcode to unlock the
current channel when browsing television
channels.
5 Press the DIRECTION () buttons to
select available channels and press the ENTER button to save those channels as favorites.
Channels added to the Favorites list will show a check next to their name.
Viewing Favorites
1 Press the SOURCE button and adjust the
INPUT SOURCE to “TV”.
2 Press the FAV button, on the remote, to
view a list of channels saved as favorites.
3 Press the DIRECTION () and ENTER
buttons on the remote to highlight and select a channel to go to.

DVD & CD
Loading and Playing a DVD or CD
Loading a DVD or CD:
1 Press the SOURCE button and adjust the
INPUT SOURCE to “DVD”.
2 Gently insert a DVD or CD into the slot-
load disc drive, with the label side of the DVD or CD facing the back of the LCD television.
Playing a DVD or CD:
3 After the DVD or CD is loaded, it should
begin playing automatically.
4 If the DVD or CD does not begin playing
automatically, press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
Programming a DVD or CD
1 While a DVD or CD is playing, press the
PROGRAM button on the remote.
2 Enter in the title (T) and chapters (C), or
tracks in the order you want them to play.
3 Highlight the on-screen PLAY button using
the DIRECTION () buttons, and press the ENTER button.
4 The programmed titles and chapters, or
tracks will now play in the designated order.
5 To cancel a program, press the PROGRAM
button, highlight the on-screen CLEAR button using the DIRECTION () buttons, and press the ENTER button.

Connecting a Gaming Console
Requires a RCA Audio/Video cable or a HDMI cable, not included.
VIDEO:
1 Plug the RCA video cable or the HDMI
cable into the RCA video output or HDMI output on a gaming console and the VIDEO INPUT or HDMI INPUT on the LCD television.
AUDIO:
2 Connect the RCA audio cables to the
audio output on a gaming console and the
AUDIO INPUT on the LCD television.
Connecting a PC
Requires a VGA cable, not included. 1 Power the LCD television on and press the
SOURCE button to switch to VGA mode.
VIDEO:
2 Plug the VGA cable into the VGA output
on a computer and the PC IN on the LCD television.
3 The connected computer should
automatically recognize the LCD television as an additional monitor.
AUDIO:
4 If your computer has an audio output, it
can be connected to the PC AUDIO INPUT on the LCD television. This will allow audio from your connected computer to play through the LCD television’s speakers.

1 Power the LCD television on and press the

Connecting a USB Thumb Drive
1 Plug a USB Thumb Drive into the THUMB
DRIVE CONNECTION on the side of the
LCD television.
2 Press the POWER button to turn the LCD
television on.
3 Press the SOURCE button to switch to DVD
mode.
4 Press the DVD SETUP button on the
remote.
5 Press the DIRECTION () buttons,
select SOURCE, and press the ENTER button.
6 Press the DIRECTION () buttons,
select USB, and press the ENTER button.
7 Press the DVD SETUP button to exit the
DVD setup menu.
Playing Media from a USB Thumb Drive
1 Press the DIRECTION () and
ENTER buttons to select an audio le,
image le, or a video le.

Connecting a Memory Card
1 Insert the memory card into the SD/MC/
MMC slot on the side of the LCD television.
2 Press the POWER button to turn the LCD
television on.
3 Press the SOURCE button to switch to DVD
mode.
4 Press the DVD SETUP button on the
remote.
5 Press the DIRECTION () buttons,
select SOURCE, and press the ENTER button.
6 Press the DIRECTION () buttons,
select CARD, and press the ENTER button.
7 Press the DVD SETUP button to exit the
DVD setup menu.
Playing Media from a Memory Card
1 Press the DIRECTION () and
ENTER buttons to select an audio le,
image le, or a video le.
