The lightning ash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage" within the product's enclosure that may be of sufcient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.
This product utilizes a Class 1 laser to read Compact Discs. This laser Compact Disc Player is equipped with safety switches to avoid exposure when the CD door is open and the safety interlocks are defeated. Invisible laser radiation is present when the CD Player’s lid is open and the system’s interlock has failed or been defeated. It is very important that you avoid direct exposure to the laser beam at all times. Please do not attempt to defeat or bypass the safety switches.

9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding
- type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. When the provided plug does not t into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched
particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specied by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

TELEVISION
Connecting a TV Antenna or Cable
A TV Antenna or Cable must be connected before the portable DVD stereo system can be used as a television.
1 Connect the TV Antenna (included)
or Cable to the RF ANTENNA INPUT.
Choosing AIR or CATV
Before scanning for channels, you must choose how your portable DVD stereo system is connected to a television signal.
1 Follow the instructions for
CONNECTING A TV ANTENNA OR CABLE.
2 Adjust the SOURCE switch to TV/
DVD.
3 Press the TV/DVD button repeatedly
to select TV mode. Press the OK button on the remote.
4 Press the TV MENU button.
5 Press the DIRECTIONAL buttons
on the remote to select television settings (farthest option to the right).
6 Press the DIRECTIONAL ()
buttons on the remote to select ANTENNA.
7 Press the DIRECTIONAL ()
buttons on the remote to switch between AIR (antenna) or CATV (cable).
8 Press the TV MENU button on the
remote after selecting AIR or CATV.
Auto Scanning for Channels
The auto scan feature must be run before the portable DVD stereo system can play television channels.
1 Follow the instructions for
CONNECTING A TV ANTENNA OR CABLE and CHOOSING AIR OR CATV.
2 Adjust the SOURCE switch to TV/
DVD.
3 Press the TV/DVD button repeatedly
to select TV mode. Press the OK button on the remote.
4 Press the TV MENU button.
5 Press the DIRECTIONAL buttons
on the remote to select television settings (farthest option to the right).
6 Press the DIRECTIONAL buttons
on the remote to select AUTO SCAN Press the OK button on the remote.
7 Press the DIRECTIONAL buttons on
the remote to select START TO SCAN. Press the OK button on the remote.
The portable DVD stereo system will now automatically scan for available channels.

Loading a Disc
1 Adjust the SOURCE switch to TV/
DVD.
2 Press the TV/DVD button repeatedly
to select DVD mode. Press the OK button on the remote.
3 Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to
open the DISC DRAWER.
4 Load a DVD or CD into the DISC
DRAWER (label-side facing up).
5 Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to
close the DISC DRAWER.
Playing a Disc
1 Follow the instructions for LOADING
A DISC.
2 Adjust the SOURCE switch to TV/
DVD.
3 Press the TV/DVD button repeatedly
to select DVD mode. Press the OK button on the remote.
4 Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to
begin playing the loaded disc.
Programming a Disc
1 Follow the instructions for LOADING
A DISC and PLAYING A DISC.
2 Adjust the SOURCE switch to TV/
DVD.
3 Press the TV/DVD button repeatedly
to select DVD mode. Press the OK button on the remote.
4 Press the PROGRAM button on the
remote.
5 Use the NUMBER KEYPAD to enter
in the track or chapter and title.
6 Press the DIRECTIONAL buttons to
select the next open slot.
7 Repeat steps 6 and 7 until the desire
tracks or chapters are programmed.
8 Use the DIRECTIONAL buttons to
highlight the on screen PLAY button.
9 Press the OK button on the remote
to begin playing the programmed tracks or chapters.
Press the STOP button twice to cancel the programmed disc.

SD button for 2 seconds.
5 Press the DIRECTIONAL buttons on
the remote to select USB.
6 Press the OK button.
7 Press the DIRECTIONAL buttons to
navigate content on the connected USB thumb drive.
8 Press the OK button to make
selections and play content from the connected USB thumb drive.
1 Connect a SD or MMC memory card
to the SD/MMC CARD slot.
2 Adjust the SOURCE switch to TV/

3 Press the TV/DVD button repeatedly
to select DVD mode. Press the OK button on the remote.
4 Press and hold the STOP/DVD/USB/
SD button for 2 seconds.

Tuning the AM/FM RadioUsing the Video Output
1 Connect the VIDEO OUTPUT to a
television using an RCA cable (not included).
2 Adjust the television to the proper
input setting.
3 Video played through the portable
DVD stereo system will now be seen on the connected television.
Using the Stereo Audio Outputs
1 Connect the STEREO AUDIO
OUTPUTS to a television or stereo
system using an RCA cable (not included).
2 Adjust the television or stereo system
to the proper input setting.
3 Audio played through the portable
DVD stereo system will now be heard on the connected television or stereo system.
1 Adjust the SOURCE switch to RADIO.
2 Adjust the BAND switch to AM, FM,
or FM ST.
3 Turn the TUNING dial to adjust the
radio station.
Using the Line Input
1 Connect an audio source to the Line
Input (3.5mm) using a line input
cable (not included).
2 Adjust the SOURCE switch to LINE IN.
3 Use the native controls on the
connected audio device to begin playing music through the connected portable DVD stereo system.
