Appendix B – Sepecifi cations and Regulatory Information
The Inforetech system uses two computers:
• The Linux computer that communicates with the base station,
handsets, and charging station.
• The Windows NT computer (acting as a server) is networked to the Linux computer, and provides the user interface to the Linux system.
One (or more) computers can act as clients to the NT server to provide access to the system from other offices at the golf course.

Regulatory Information
FCC Registra tion
The InFOREmer 2000 Handsets and Base Station have been tested and comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense.
